Came up with just moms and kids and had a great time. So awesome to be close to Canyon, the included locker was CLUTCH. Thanks to Chris for wonderful communication and helping us add a few extra days to our stay.
Had an incredible stay at this perfectly situated home overlooking the slopes. Property had everything you could possibly need and is family/pet friendly so we were able to bring our fur kids with us. Had a blast and highly recommend anyone searching for a place. Host was extremely hospitable and helpful. Will definitely return!
Super cute home! We enjoyed our stay in Mammoth unfortunately we could not use the ski in/out feature due to all the snow that accumulated throughout the months. We plan on booking again! Thank you!
We loved our stay at this property! The kitchen was well-stocked, and the layout of the living area was very comfortable and easy for everyone to enjoy and be social, especially with the nice view of the base area and surrounding slopes. We had a great time playing games. Note the walk felt a little longer than 10 minutes, but the locker made available at the base area was a really nice perk and made the walk the next day that much easier. The beds were comfortable. We canât wait to go back!
We had a fantastic stay at Chris' condo. The photos were accurate and the host very responsive. The kitchen was well stocked, water pressure was good and the beds were comfortable. The unit was clean and did NOT smell of dog. It's an older unit (like many pet friendly units at Mammoth) but comfortable and in good repair. Use of the locker at Canyon Lodge was very convenient (without it walking would be much less attractive, since the condo only a few minutes from Canyon Lodge but the condo is situated up a steep hill, which would be unpleasant to navigate with skis and boots). When the mountain has a decent base, you could ski back to the condo from on The Ski Back Trail and on days when the base. is very deep could probably ski from the condo to the Canyon Parking Lot.
My family of 4 rented this condo for New Year's break and it was BEYOND our expectations! It has been 7 years since we have been to Mammoth and this place was PERFECT! Location was key - right near Canyon Lodge with a view to the slopes! My kids enjoyed romping in the snow right by the unit and we even had a makeshift sledding hill at the end of the driveway! Plenty of beds (sleeps 10+) The owner had sleds available which was nice since we don't have any in San Diego! The condo was cozy and had a real "lodge" feel. The heat worked amazing especially since it got down below zero! The owner was a pleasure to work with and we are planning on renting from them again!
We really enjoyed our stay at Chris' place! We came with two families, with 4 young children all under 5 years. Chris was great as a host on communication and answering questions and was always available. We arrived late due to the snow and everything was ready and waiting for us. The house is very close to Canyon lodge, you can see it out the window! For sure can walk however if you have young kids as we did, you may want to drive/ drop off. The kitchen was VERY well stocked for cooking with anything you may need for spices/ tools etc and we loved the wood burning stove, so cozy. Sleds were also available and were a huge hit. All around a great trip and homebase for us and we would recommend staying at Chris' and hope to again in the future!
The owner was so kind and responsive to all our questions and needs. Check-in was easy, parking was extremely convenient. Although the condo is aged, the beds and bedding were ample and comfortable. We made cozy fires every night with the fully stocked wood supply just outside the door. The kitchen had all the tools we needed and some much appreciated pantry items, like spices and oil. We were able to pick up additional towels and paper products from the management office in town. The location was close to Canyon and there was a great sledding hill just across from the unit. Weird highlight: the bear proof trash bins were just outside the front door, probably the easiest trash disposal weâve ever had in 20 years of renting in Mammoth.
There were 7 of us staying here (3 adults and 4 kids) and it was plenty of room. Great location for walking to Canyon Lodge every day. Great communication with the property owner.
Definitely would stay again!
We stayed in this cozy cabin for a week in July. We have stayed in other cabins in this complex and have also seen other cabins in this complex, and this unit is one of the more updated ones. The kitchen is very updated and very well stocked with everything you need to make your own meals. I also like that they have their own washer and dryer in the unit - very convenient. The location within the complex is also great - it is right across from the basketball and tennis courts and you can park your car right outside the unit which is very convenient. The owners are very easy to communicate with and very responsive with any questions/inquiries you may have. Overall a great property and would come back again.
We had a great stay at this convenient condo in walking distance to Canyon. The property is very well stocked with everything you need to cook including spices and equipment - which is a nice change from most condos in Mammoth! It even had a balcony overlooking Canyon Lodge with a grill. The condo is quite spacious and comfortable. The owner was very responsive when we asked questions, which we appreciated. Would definitely stay again!
Stayed at this beautiful gem with friends and our dogs for a long weekend. The condo comfortably fit 5 adults. The location and views are amazing. Right next to the slopes. The kitchen was fully stocked with all of the cooking equipment we needed for multiple home cooked dinners. We loved the little fireplace and the balcony was a nice touch. Communication with Chris was super easy. She was highly responsive and even offered to give us recommendations for local spots to check out. Parking was no problem. We were able to easily fit our vehicles right in front of the property. The place is a little outdated but that added to its charm. It was very clean and had plenty of towels, blankets, and soaps. Check out was incredibly easy too! We will definitely be booking this place again! Thanks, Chris for a memorable stay :)
Great place for two families. We rented this place with another family. Ample space for 2 couples with 5 kids. Had many home cooked dinnersâkitchen was great! A little dated and could have used more kitchen towels, but it worked for us! Thank you Chrisâwould stay here again.
Great location And plenty of room for the whole family. Chris was incredibly helpful for ideas of what to do. The house had all the supplies youâll need, really comfy beds and great views. Weâre definitely rent again
This property has some amazing views of the Mountain, walking distance to Canyon lodge, the property had all of the necessary kitchen amenities to make our stay very comfortable, and owner is very responsive and helpful in answering any questions we had regarding this property. Definitely recommend!
We had a lovely long summer weekend and felt right at homeâcomfortable beds, great kitchen, beautiful views from the common areas and a great deck for enjoying the mountain air and sun. We would be thrilled to visit again!
The property is well maintained, close to the slopes, and well stocked. We stayed with four adults and 5 kids (including one 8 month old).
One of our favorite aspects of this unit is that it included access to a full height ski locker at Canyon Lodge, which let us just keep our gear at the lodge instead of hauling it back and forth. The owner is very responsive! Would definitely stay again.
I have been going to Mammoth since I was a teenager. It is my home away from home. Not sure if I like winter or summers better! In the winter, it's nice just sitting in the living room doing absolutely nothing but watching the skiers and snowboarders track down the mountain. In the summer, I can't wait to hit a golf ball or go hiking or biking on endless trails.
This 4 bedroom property is located near the entrance to Canyon Lodge Parking lot. There is only one common wall (to the unit next door) so it feels more like a cabin than a townhome. Walk outside and all you will see are trees because this backs up to the National Forest. Perfect place to build a snowman, throw snowballs, or sled. If you like bird watching, I have seen 5 varieties fly down and sit on my balcony railing. (Of course, it helps that I am feeding them peanuts.)
Super Mountain and Slope Views. Quiet location because property backs up to the National Forest. Updated kitchen w/ every possible convenience. Comfortable Beds. Exceptionally clean property.
