Cette belle maison design Big Bear de 2700 pieds carrés sur 3 étages est située dans le quartier huppé de Moonridge à Big Bear. Près des pistes de ski de Big Bear, du golf, de la randonnée, du vélo, des sentiers et du zoo. Courte 5 minutes en voiture de l'épicerie, des boutiques du village, de la fête d'octobre, de la luge et d'autres activités amusantes de gros ours. Ou restez à la maison dans le cadre boisé relaxant et profitez du bain à remous.
10-12 personnes confortablement. Quatre places de parking maximum autorisées par Big Bear, 1 place par chambre. Extra large suite parentale, salle de bain privée, bain à remous, terrasse privée. Chambre 2 lit queen, accès terrasse. Chambre 3 lit queen, accès terrasse. Chambre 4 deux lits doubles, en bas confortable à côté de la salle familiale, avec salle de bain complète. Nouveau canapé-lit queen en bas.
Salon ouvert, très grand sectionnel confortable, lumineux et lumineux avec plafond voûté de 18 ', foyer au gaz en pierre. Grande télévision au-dessus de la cheminée entrée spectaculaire avec des sièges. Perfect weekend!

We were so happy with our stay! Everyone in our party loved the Chalet Chocolate! We spent time on the decks, in the hot tub and relaxed! The large island in the kitchen made a great gathering spot! At the end of the day, we could separate into different areas! We had a perfect weekend with no disputes and everyone wanting to return! I suspect that we will return! Thank you, Kelly!

February stay

Overall unimpressed with the property. Steep driveway, was unable to park in the driveway, and ended up parking at the top of the driveway. Several lights and outlets were not working. Kitchen stove knobs missing/not working. Layout in the pictures not what the home was like. There were three stories. Pool table was nice. Ended up leaving a day early. Would not stay here again

Not my favorite floor plan, lighting and outlets not working everything else great.

The owner Kelly is great. Very helpful and fast at responding. I just wouldn't visit home again, it’s 3 stories. Floor plan was not convenient, kitchen and living room were opposite of each other on 2nd floor(main entrance) So we didn’t really use the living room much, I personally prefer open floor plans so that the group can stay together. I should’ve asked. Just the pictures make its seem so roomy and beautiful. But the kitchen has low ceilings and very poor lighting. Many lights didn’t work. Not only in the kitchen but in the upstairs bedrooms. My guests complained that nothing worked (outlets and light switches) and it was a bit embarrassing since it was my birthday trip and I picked everything out thinking it was a luxury home. Upon arrival the driveway was covered in a thick layer of ice. Which owner has no control over. I just never saw the driveway in the photos and it is EXTREMELY steep. So we had to park up top which is shared, small area. Thank God no one was staying in the house that it was shared with. Because then we wouldn’t have been able to park due to the icy steep driveway. And carry 3 nights,4 days worth of groceries. Which wasn’t so convenient. Jacuzzi was great, clean and beautiful. Pool table was fun. Porch was okay. Wrapped the home. BBQ was great. Home was clean.. I think that’s about all I wish I had known before booking. This home just needs some attention on lighting outlets and a bigger trash can for kitchen. And the floor plan was a personal opinion that I and my guest disliked which is why we personally wouldn’t go back even if everything was fixed. If your group doesn’t mind the separation then this would be a great home once paid a little more attention to.

Very much as advertised. Location is close to Bear for skiing & boarding. Internet worked well, cable tv’s were great, & plumbing in this house is awesome! Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful home!

Great home and even better location. Right next to bear and a couple minutes from summit. Owner Kelly was amazing! Always communicated with us throughout stay and made sure everything was good. The home is clean and very spacious. The perfect mountain getaway. Thanks for having us!

I took my two adult sons, their wives, and my grandchildren to Chalet Chocolate.We all loved the home. When we first arrived, it was so nice to see the Christmas tree was there and the cozy fireplace. I am undergoing chemo treatment, so the stairs were a challenge for me because of high altitude and snow and ice on the driveway....so it was nice my grandson, who is a football player, helped me get up and down the outside stairway. Grandkids and my oldest son enjoyed snow boarding or snowboard lessons!!! Excitement on New Years Eve...when the electricity went off for about three hours!! We all sat around the fireplace and shared special thoughts and memories...praise reports, prayer, and then at 12:02AM the power came back on!!! I hope we can enjoy another stay sometime at the Chalet Chocolate. Thanks so much for allowing my family group to enjoy your home away from home!!!

Everything was Incredible!

The cabin is amazing! Spacious and well-equipped with everything we needed to have a fun-filled, weekend with a group of friends. The owners, Kelly and Joe, were responsive and helpful through the entire process- from the moment we booked throughout the stay. Most of the rooms are separated in different areas of the house, and the tri-level design made it perfect for everyone to have their own space throughout the weekend. The comforters on the beds were like nothing I've ever experienced before...I loved them! The kitchen was large and we were all able to sit around on bar stools/chairs and talk and listen to music while we took turns cooking at various meals. There were spices, condiments, dishes - everything you can think of, they had! The Vons and Stater Bros grocery stores are not far down the road and made it easy for us to go pick up food/drinks. The hot tub was hot and relaxing; the pool table was a nice added bonus, and playing games in front of the fireplace was perfect. The house is located in a neighborhood not far from the village area of town, and is somewhat recessed on the street so you feel some seclusion. While we weren't lucky enough to experience any snow (as we were hoping to on this weekend), the cabin and kindness of the owners made up for that by far. I read a lot of reviews prior to booking and am so thankful I kept being drawn back to this one...I highly recommend this cabin and hope to visit it again someday! Thank you Kelly and Joe for everything and for sharing your beautiful home with others!! P.S. For the reviews I read (on many different rentals) complaining about having to take your own trash- that's standard for the entire area and it wasn't a big deal. The place you drop it off at is only a mile or two away from this particular cabin and it was no trouble at all. So expect to have to do that anywhere you stay in Big Bear.

Beautiful cabin home with every amenity provided

Second time staying at Chalet Chocolate. Loved it as did the rest of the guests. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to rent a cabin for skiing and snowboarding.

Beautiful home, great experience

Stayed at the cabin for a weekend with friends and family. Beautiful home with numerous comforts and commodities. Very close to ski resorts and host was very responsive. Would definitely stay here again for any future trips.

Beautiful Cabin in a great location

The cabin perfectly accommodated 3 families and was well kept. The snowed over driveway acted as a perfect sledding area for the kids and the house is segmented nicely so that everyone can be together or have their own personal space. Highly recommended and would stay there again.

Amazing weekend

This house was perfect for our large family. Plenty of sleeping arrangements and open space. We never felt on top of each other. The drive way created a perfect slope for the little ones to sled on. Overall we had an amazing weekend and would definitely rent this home again.

Super, fabulous fun for the family

The owners were there to greet us. Showed us everything about the house. It was beautiful. If anything wasn't working they took care of it right away. There wasn't anything we did without. It was stocked with all the necessities you will need to cook, clean up, sleep and bath. The owners are incredible people very sweet and loving which made you feel you were staying at a relatives. They were awesome. Would recommend this place to everyone who needs a big place and wants to have a great time. Thank you for a great time! Lupe and family

Big Bear Trip

We were generally very disappointed in our stay. We arrived to a full and smelly garbage can, and a very cold house. The pilot light went out numerous times, so two of our three nights were spent in the cold. There were lots of little broken things, faucet, 1 stove top hob, toilet. The house was clean and a great size for a big group, but expected nicer.

Beautiful and spacious cabin

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. The location was great. It was a very beautiful place to stay and had plenty of room for 4 couples to each have their own space. The kitchen had every thing we needed to cook food including spices and condiments. We would stay there again.

Beautiful, cozy, perfect for famailywith kids

Lots of room, very clean, has everything you need. If you are here during winter months with lot of snowfall, the long steep drive way is perfect for kids to sled down. Close to Bear mountain. The only potential problem is that it's pretty deep in the woods. There is a couple of hills you need to climb to reach the cabin. Normally it would be fine, but during heavy snow, normal cars, even with chain will have issues making it. We had a Toyota Prius and a Mazda 3, both car could not make it to the cabin even with chains. We had to park our cars else where, then shuttle up with the only 4WD SUV we had. But of course the week we went was super heavy snow! Good for the kids and snowboarders, but not good for small cars. Over all we enjoyed the cabin very much. It's nice and quite, has all the amenities that we need. Jacuzzi, pool table, and plenty of rooms . highly recommend it!

Wonderful Wonderful Wonderful

The home was so great. We had a wonderful time. It was plenty large and set up SO well. The decor was tasteful and useful. Everything worked great/close to town and slopes. The owners we so sweet and happy to help in any way. I plan on returning. I just can't say enough about our stay-HOME RUN BIG BEAR TRIP!!!

Perfect Mountain House

Awesome house. Perfect for big families, we had 6 adults and 5 kids. Very spacious common areas with plenty of places to relax and room for the kids to play. The owners were amazing in making sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We would 100% stay here again!
