Michael, unfortunately is making up the details of his review because he inadvertently locked himself out of the property. Michael arrived at our home and proceeded to enter the wrong code numerous times. As a security feature, this times out the lock for a period of time. A colleague of mine called Michael within 5 minutes of getting locked out but Michael hung up on him because it wasn’t me personally. I called Michael from a professional baseball game (this is why he says it was challenging to connect) and Michael gained entry to the home within 30 minutes. Michael demanded a 50% refund for the 30 minutes of inconvenience. I provided 10% off. He attempted to extort me and he then proceeded to damage items in my home and give me the middle finger numerous times on the exterior cameras because I only provided a 10% refund. His comment about the other person in the building not liking that it is a rental is invalid because the other person is the owner of the building. I wish Michael better trips in the future but would encourage him, as I do all my guests, to read through the arrival instructions before arriving and contact me with any questions before arriving to ensure a smooth check in.
