Small but mighty

We have stayed here several times now.Perfect for two .The space feels big because it’s open with high ceilings.Floor to ceiling windows with expansive views of the bay.Point Richmond is a hidden gem.

Perfect Location, Neighborhood, and House!

We traveled to SF for a conference in the Financial District. The parking at the house was very easy and the neighbor was super fun! We really enjoyed Richmond Point. It is a very charming area with several restaurants and shops. We ate at Little Louis’s Café, Jin Ye Chinese, and Kao Sarn Thai. All three places had amazing food and are less than 1/2 a mile from the house. We had breakfast at Little Louis Café. It was delicious and the atmosphere was fantastic. We wish we could have come back later for drinks. The house had great access to downtown SF, Muir Forest, and the Golden Gate area. It was only a 40-minute drive into the heart of downtown around 6:45am on Thursday. We parked our car at the Hyatt Regency, got breakfast, and I toured around downtown while my husband attended the conference. From the Hyatt, I was able to get on a trolley to visit Fisherman’s Warf, China Town, Ghiratdelli Square, union Square, Lombard Street and several other iconic sites. The best part was that it was less than 25 minutes to get back to the house at the end of the day. We could relax and watch the sailboats from the living room.

Glorious San Francisco bay view apartment

We stayed 14 days at this wonderful apartment. The description is 100% accurate. It was hot during our stay and there was no air conditioning but we managed to keep comfortable with fans and open doors. Our hosts were very willing to help us if necessary. We got to see so many sites from this location. You cannot beat going to downtown SF on the Richmond Ferry. Thanks Kris and Denny

We absolutely loved our stay. We would come back in a heart beat! The home was amazing, exactly what we needed. The views were stunning, exactly as listed! It was quiet and relaxing, easily accessible (when we used the owners directions), and a great location for all we had planned!

Fabulous

Just amazing views. Clean. Comfortable. Easy to get into town and surrounding areas. To avoid trafic, leave depart after 9am. Had everything you could need. We were worried about not having AC. The outside air is perfect and the blinds keep the heat out. Don't let this deter you.

Beautiful house, view & location!

We had an amazing time! We came out to SF to celebrate our 35th anniversary and couldn't be happier with our stay. The house was beautiful, clean and the views amazing. We also really liked the location that was convenient for sight seeing and the cute town of Point Richmond. Thanks so much for sharing!

Wonderful rental

We have stayed here twice and been very happy. Because we don’t need to drive much,Point Richmond is a good location. It is also a good location to get to anywhere in the bay and to beaches. Numerous good hiking trails a short distance away. Views from the rental are magnificent. Large private balcony overlooks the whole bay. The unit is not that big,but feels large enough for two due to high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows.

Simply Wow!!

Not much to add to all that has been already said in previous reviews, pictures are one thing but living the views is something else... It is the perfect place to feel at home away from home (you wish it were). Kris and Denny were great hosts, always ready to help if needed but respectful of our intimacy.

Beautiful Views!

My husband and I loved this rental. We stayed the week of July 4th and we were able to see firework shows from San Francisco on the beautiful balcony. The neighborhood is very quiet. You can easily go to San Francisco from the Point Richmond and then hop on other Ferries in San Francisco. The guest house is about 2 miles from t Point Richmond Ferry. We had a great time. The next time I come to the area I would definitely stay again.

Nothing But Spectacular!!!!

From the moment I got out of the car, I was in love with Kris and Denny's place!!! Not only was it spotless, but as soon as I walked through the door I felt like I was at home. The view from their place is something that can be on a Screen saver because it's so serene. But what was the icing on top of the cake is both of them are amazing hosts. They even allowed us to use their binoculars to get a better experience while adoring the view!! This place get 10 stars out of five!!!!

Perfect Place to Stay Great Hosts and Amazing View!!

We absolutely loved this place!! It was very easy to get to and the hosts provided very great directions. There was a welcome basket full of goodies and the place was very neat and clean. The views of the 3 bridges was the highlight. I am from the Bay Area and have never seen more beautiful/ breathtaking views!! The hosts were very welcoming to my friends and family. Very comfortable retreat!! We didn't want to leave. We definitely will be back and hopefully next time we can watch a football game with the owner Kris!!

Beautiful view + property!

We absolutely loved our New Years Eve weekend getaway ! The property was gorgeous and the views were incredible! We were lucky enough to see the New Years eve fireworks across the bay in SF, which was super cool. Thank you so much to Kris and Denny for sharing your beautiful home with us. We were just tickled that when we asked about a tea kettle and there was not one, that Kris went out and bought one for us to use - that was very thoughtful especially as I am an avid tea drinker. Thanks again - we highly recommend this spot - just perfect and relaxing. You could sit and watch the water all day long - it is an ever-changing landscape.

A perfect getaway with a great view

We hadn't been to the Bay Area in twenty years and since it was our 25th anniversary, we decided to go back for a visit. It was lovely. The property was exactly as described. Amazing views of the city including three bridges, a wonderful space with a full kitchen, and a great deck. We even had a flock of wild turkeys on the road at sunset on our first night. We were close to everything, from the city where we spent a day to Sonoma for wine tasting. We even ventured to Big Sur. We were close to a grocery store, and several local wine bars. Denis and Kris were responsive. We weren't wanting for anything. I would definitely recommend this place and if we had the opportunity, we'd stay there again.

Elegance on a Hillside!

Beautiful condo in a lovely setting on a very interesting active SF Bay. Enjoyed watching the sailboats. One day the wind was not strong enough to fill the sails and 4 big sailboats towed in a line by coast guard or friend with a small motor boat. Neighbors were friendly and helpful which was much appreciated. Condo well supplied to fill basic needs and we were greeted with a welcoming basket which we enjoyed. Bed was very comfortable, lighting great, furniture comfortable, and appliances very nice. First time using a space efficient washer/dryer combo so that was great being able to do laundry right in the condo. Great stay and would highly recommend this condo. Suzi & Jim

Great spot

The condo is everything the pictures show. Amazing view! It's clean, and well equipped. The kitchen is usable. I really appreciated that they didn't throw out the usable food from the previous renters. It had katchup, mustard, etc from previous renters. The only flaw was the WiFi and internet. There was no Wifi, and the only internet port was used for the TV. Pretty much no internet. For $50 they could put in a WiFI router, and have a great working solution.

exceeded our expectations:)

Everything far exceeded our expectations. We were able to find the property and get in easily. The condo was gorgeous and clean. Denny and Kris made it feel like home by having miscellaneous items (things you never pack, but always use) ie: salt, pepper, storage bags. The view was absolutely breath taking. It was quiet and parking was never a problem. We had the pleasure to meet the owners, Denny and Kris, when we could not figure out how the oven worked. They answered their phone and immediately were there to help us. The condo is conveniently located and easy drive to ferry, Muir woods and wine country. We parked our car and took the stress free ferry to San Francisco. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone planning a visit to the area.

Perfect Getaway!

I booked this beautiful home for my 92 year old mother and my 62 year old sister for a get away. The home, the decor, the setting was just as described, but the experience was beyond their expectations. in fact, it was so wonderful, I had to take some time to drive there and see/experience it for myself... as did my brother! The photos on vrbo were true to life. Everything immaculate and so tastefully decorated. The extra treat was meeting Denny and Kris, the owners of the home. They were accessible and hospitable and willing to please. The view was stunning of course, peaceful, surreal at night. and our favorite part was the huge deck and openness of the home. truly a retreat, getaway, romantic weekend, etc.... all worth the affordable price! We definitely will keep this rental on our list of vacation spots, and in our fond vacation memories too!
