The property was a charming & cozy cabin. The bedroom is downstairs and was cool & comfortable. For tall visitors (6’ ), the shower heads are a bit low. Both decks were comfortable, we enjoyed playing cards out at the table. For non-Winter guests, we recommend you bring some bug prevention/candle/incense. Our son enjoyed sitting on the deck, and had our first bear sighting while on the deck. During our visit, we had 3 sightings and 1 evidence of bear presence (multiple paw prints on my car) with no damage. So, when you stay at the cabin, be vigilant in keeping your car locked at all times. If you’re planning on staying in and cooking at the cabin, consider bringing a sponge, aluminum foil, no stick spray, a spare roll of paper towels, and decaf k-cups. For a long weekend, our family enjoyed our time at the cabin.

Overall this cabin was an excellent place to stay! The description of the place is very accurate. We got lost due to construction being done on a house, but we got ahold of the host and they got us in the right direction, and we were able to find the place! Our host was quick to respond and kept us up to date on the internet issue they were having. The only issues we had was the WiFi not working, since we had no phone service being in the mountains, but this was also not to hosts fault due to their service provider continuously cancelling on them. Also, after about the second day, there were sugar ants on the kitchen counter by the sink, but this was addressed with the host, and they stated they will get an exterminator out there to fix the situation. Overall, the place is beautiful, and great for a couple or small family to stay as there’s two beds provided. I would stay here again!

The cabin was comfortable, immaculately clean, and had great ammenities. The drive up the first time was a little challenging but that was expected as it was described in the description. Unfortunately, we weren't informed that there was a home being constructed next door, and from shortly after 7 am to after 7 pm each day there were sounds of diesel generators, power tools and heavy equipment. The outdoor spaces weren't really useable due to the noise, and if we had known we most likely would have booked another location.

Quiet little place, great for a small family or a couple. Its located about a 10 minute drive from Metcalfe Bottoms, which was awesome. Even though its next to a cabin on one side and one being built on the other side, you dont see them when on the porch or in the hot tub and they cant see you since they are of similar design, so we had a good feeling of privacy. The only issue we had was the murphy bed in the living room did not want to fold out. We gave up on it and our daughter slept very comfortably on the couch. Would we stay again? Yes! It was quiet and comfortable, and its ease of entry into the park was very nice.
