Welcome to Rosewood cabin in the Peaceful Side of the Smokys.

Play games in the cozy living room, take a long soak in the large jetted tub, sit in a rocking chair outside on the deck and enjoy nature, grill up your favorite meal. Enjoy the warmth of the fireplace (Oct-April).

Take some time to get away from the demands of life and reset.

We are a pet friendly property. We allow 2 dogs that are over 1 year old for a $50 pet fee.

*Property does have a shared driveway.*

Enter into the living room where you will find a comfy futon with new mattress as of August 2021, a gas fireplace (useable Oct-April), and a smart television. Play games or snuggle up and enjoy each other's company. Our place is cozy but we feel love grows best in smaller spaces! New flooring installed February 2023. Check-in is keyless so you can arrive at anytime after 4pm.

The dining table is an antique and has a vintage sewing machine base. Seating for four provided.

Head over to the kitchen where you have everything you need to make a meal and save some money instead of eating out. We have a refridgerator, stove, oven, microwave, coffee pot, and kettle along with all the dinnerware, silverware, pots and pans.

The bathroom is on the main level and has a standalone shower and a jacuzzi tub big enough for two. Enjoy a long soak after a fun day in town exploring.

A beautiful loft area is where you will find the best place to rest your head. The queen bed is just right for a good night's sleep and has a handcrafted headboard from a local artist. New Lucid mattress as of November 2022.

On the deck you will find two rocking chairs and a dining table. Have meals outside and take advantage of the beautiful weather or take a seat in the rockers and wind down with a glass of wine.

We like to give guests their privacy so we won't be available in person but we respond quickly to any guest communication and have a great team that can visit the property if needed.

This cabin is not completely secluded as there are two other cabins on the property but there is space between them and we have been intentional about privacy.

Cozy and gorgeous!

We traveled from Michigan to stay at this lovely cabin with our two older dogs. We got stuck with rainy weather for most of our time here, but the relaxing setting, birds chirping, and beautiful view from the back porch made a perfect getaway.

I didn't realize the steps going down were a little tough on me while carrying my stuff to the cabin. The steps up to the bed were a little steep.

Lovely Cabin and Amenities

Great 2 night stay. Loved the gas fireplace and very comfortable bed. WiFi was excellent. Be aware this has loft stairs which some elderly may find daunting. Excellent host communication. Horseback riding and caverns right up the road.

Great Get-A-Way

Just what we wanted. Quiet, peaceful secluded. The cabin was perfect, and had everything we could have asked for. The host was great with communications. I would recommend this to anyone looking for the perfect get-a-way spot. Thank you!

Beautiful mountain retreat

We stayed here for a few days on a hiking trip. This place made the perfect little house to retreat to, and the hot tub was much welcome after long days of hiking up steep mountain trails. The coffee pods were a nice added touch!

Anniversary

It was a perfect, small, simple little cabin for y husband and I for a quick trip. We loved Townsend, much nicer than the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge. Very convenient location to the Caverns which is a must do! The jetted tub was nice to have but would have been perfect if had an outdoor hot tub. The only other thing would make it better was if location was up in mountains with a better view. Otherwise our stay was great!

We loved our stay at this cabin. it was perfect for a nice place to sleep at the end of a busy day of hiking. The property manager was very responsive to all of our messages and was very friendly. i would recommend this property to others!

Cozy honey moon stay

We loved our stay at this cozy cabin! It is tucked away from the busyness of neighboring towns but it is close enough to venture to Dollywood and Smoky Mountains National Park. Nicole and Dustin were very communicative and even turned on the fireplace a bit early for us, which was perfect as the temps dipped down. Our dogs had a great time too and enjoyed watching the neighbor’s free range chickens peck around. Overall it was a great spot to unwind in nature after the craziness of our wedding week.

Perfect if your down to see the beauty of cades cove or a cavern within walking distance.

It was very well kept plenty of room for us 3 had everything we needed cooking wise and the hot tub is a bonus.

Great vacation!

Our family of four stayed in this cozy cabin and it was perfect! Just what I was looking for and very clean. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked and the check in/out process was very simple. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a quiet place just out of town to enjoy some peace and quiet. Our hostess checked in on us after our first night just to make sure all was well and communication was always open. Definitely enjoyed it, thank you!

Dissatisfied

The cabin was not appropriate for our age , which I stressed to you our issues with my husband's health and the stair situation . It was a miserable stay and we did not stay the entire time . I will never book with VRBO again . I feel we were deceived only to rent to someone.it was also difficult to walk down to cabin as the the path needs to be leveled and on the tiers proper gravel . Sleeping for my husband who is 85 , was on the floor on the futon mattress. No place for our clothes . TV not user friendly , no instructions on how to use the TV , the grill in bad shape . We had no directions to find the cabin , being lost in the mountain. I do not recommend this place and will never book thru VRBO again .

We loved this place!

The cabin is clean and so cozy! We ate all our meals on the back deck and enjoyed listening to the birds! One afternoon we walked to Tuckaleechee caverns! We loved that it was in walking distance!

We loved staying here! Great little cabin in the peaceful area of the smokies! Great location for access to Tuckaleechee caverns too! Close to the NP and restaurants! Very good communication with owner! We will be back!

Memorial day hide away

This is the place to go, when you don't want the noise and crazy of the crowd. Best decision ever. One of the very few truly pet friendly places. Internet was strong enough to set up a portable Wyze cam to keep an eye on our doggo.

We are the Schroeder family and we have been traveling full-time since September of 2017. We started out traveling exclusively in our rv, but fell in love with short term rentals when we explored Europe in 2019. We have been to all 50 states and over 10 countries as we seek to learn more about the diversity that makes each place unique and special. This cabin is a family passion. We are teaching our children about construction, basic repairs, budgeting, hospitality, compassion, and loving others well. They are involved in this property and we hope that they will grow to love hosting as much as we do.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We have cabins in the hustle and bustle of the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area and we decided that we wanted a place to enjoy the Peaceful Side of the Smokys as well. We fell in love with this property for the views and the feeling of relaxation we have when we're here. This is a place that one can truly unwind and enjoy the nature that makes the Smoky Mountains great.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

This property actually has two small cabins and a house. Perfect for families to rent and have their own space yet still hang out together and make precious memories. If you are interested in renting out the entire property, send us an inquiry and we'll make sure to find you a date where everything is open.
