We’re glad you enjoyed the rooftop deck and views, updated bathroom, clean appliances, easy check-in, and A/C, although we’re sorry that the condo did not meet your expectations overall. We do want to provide some context for future guests. The condo and its furnishings are professionally deep cleaned at the beginning of each rental season and cleaned between every guest stay. As with any busy beachfront rental, an area rug can show some wear by the end of the season after months of guests coming and going from the beach. We appreciate the feedback and evaluate furnishings and other items each year as part of our seasonal maintenance and refreshing. We were surprised by the comments regarding the furnishings, particularly the side table, which is less than two years old, and the bed. We have hosted many guests in this condo and have not previously received complaints that the mattress was lopsided or uncomfortable. Mattress preferences can certainly vary, but we will inspect it carefully based on your comments. Regarding the Keurig, our understanding is that it was stored in the closet. Unfortunately, we were not contacted during the stay to let us know that you could not locate it. Had you reached out, we could have directed you to it or, if it had been removed by a previous guest, we would have gladly had a replacement delivered as quickly as possible. Similarly, we were not given an opportunity during the stay to investigate the concern with the bed before you decided to leave early. We encourage our guests to contact us whenever something is not right so that we have an opportunity to help. We are very responsive and will always make a reasonable effort to address an issue when we know about it. We take pride in offering a clean and comfortable beachfront property at an accessible price point, with immediate beach access and rooftop views of both the ocean and bay. While we’re sorry this particular stay did not meet your expectations, we appreciate the feedback and will take it into consideration as we prepare the condo for the next season.
