My friend had a wonderful vacay in LBI and this property contributed to it. Just as the description said, "steps from the ocean," our shore experience was easy and enjoyable. We're two seniors, so it's important to be close to the bathroom when one is on the beach. Everything was perfect! Cozy and comfortable. We'll be back!

Location is 10/10. Fantastic part of the island - close to everything, but far enough to be away from the hustle and bustle and the noise of the restaurants. The apartment amenities were lacking however - very dull knives, fridge temperature could not be adjusted so unfortunately some of our food needed to get thrown out before we could eat it because it froze, no hand soap in the bathroom, and having to vacuum and clean the rental before you check out is unacceptable given there is a hefty cleaning fee.

Location was perfect. Everything was clean. The only observation was that the bed frame was too big for the room. Hard to get in, out and around. The window was completely blocked by the headboard. So no ocean breeze. Disappointing.

Great location!

We love Beach Haven, and rented this space as my family has outgrown another nearby rental. Two children and two adults slept well in comfy beds. The only issue was resolved promptly by owner and local handy person. We had a great stay, and hope to return!

You cannot beat the location, right near great restaurants and ice cream. Quiet and clean. Ken was so easy to work with and his responsiveness was great.

Next to the beach!!

The location is awesome! The unit was nice, beds comfortable, and enough room. It was very hard to find the lock box since I arrived at night. The unit had dishes in the dishwasher when we arrived and a lot of sand on the floor. Other than that, it was an excellent stay.

Great location!

The description of the property was accurate. You can't be any closer to the beach. Communication was very good with hosts. There was a slight issue with previous renters leaving towels and other items behind and not cleaning up after themselves like they should. I spoke with the hosts and they felt horrible. Actually refunded my cleaning fee because there must have been a mix-up with the cleaning service due to it being pre-season and mid-week. I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful property and as I previously stated....you can't beat the location.

Terrific location!

First, to clarify, my rating of 4 stars indicates that I was pleased with the rental and the convenience of the process! The location is phenomenal if you are interested in spending a lot of time at the beach, as we were. Probably 100 steps from your front door to the water's edge. The outdoor showers were great, and it was also extremely convenient that free laundry is provided on site. I stayed with my wife and six year old daughter and found the unit clean and comfortable, if a bit cozy. Very little room to maneuver around the queen bed in bedroom one; bedroom two (with twin/trundle) much more roomy. Living room space was adequate, as was the newly updated kitchen. Some aspects of the unit (window screens, funiture) showing some wear and tear. This didn't bother me in the slightest, as i was there to hang on the beach, but this accounts in large part for the four star rating. The deck area a bit cramped and not something that we used at all. The unit is priced much more attractively than other similar units, and in my estimation that value is well worth it. Location also quite convenient to town center (around a mile) but sufficiently removed that it feels quiet & peaceful.

Nice condo. close to beach, but needs some updates

We liked the layout of the condo and it's location near the beach. I think though some things need to be addressed. 1) Grill is rusted and igniters do not work. 2) Rugs outside door and in kitchen are falling apart 3) Frig runs either too cold or luke warm 4) Shower curtain liner needs to be replaced 5) Kitchen utensils need to be increased. Steak knives and others are needed. Also, the place was dusty and smelled like someone was smoking there before we arrived.. I thought this was a smoke free rental? There is also a notice in the condo and with the lease,that everyone who stays there is required to clean it before they leave. We always clean up, but I question why we were charged a cleaning fee?. Was a service brought in before we arrived to justify the fee? Also when I signed up to rent, it was stated that a full refund will be provided if cancelled by May 8th. When I received the lease, it says no refunds would be provided and that they may find another week for you. That is not what was advertised. My dealings with the owners was very pleasant, I think though some changes should be made.

The place was perfect size for my husband and me. My son and his girlfriend stayed Saturday night and we had plenty of room. I loved being able to hear the ocean from the unit and the short walk to the beach.

Just a few steps from the beach, which made our stay super convenient. Also a close drive to Fantasy Island amusement park and restaurants too. The house was just as listed and it had everything we needed. I would definitely stay again. Thank you Ken and Meigan for hosting us!

A great time had by all!

Came to Beach Haven (LBI) to celebrate my daughters 16th birthday. What a great time we had! The unit was perfect for our party of 4. Getting to the beach was too easy- steps away! We even saw a couple of dolphins! It seemed we arrived a week before the season, but we were still able to enjoy a lot the island had to offer. In fact, we decided it was the perfect time to be there- before the busy crowds! Mini golf was fun, there's an ice cream shop an easy walk away. Would definitely come back!

We loved that the condo was steps from the beach. Minutes to town but not in the hustle and bustle of the summer crowds. Cute place! Look forward to coming back.

Great value and location

First floor, 2 bedroom, 1 Bath, and one house from the beach. Under 2 miles to Bay Village. Very clean, updated Unit with 2 off-street spaces. LVT plank flooring, newer kitchen cabinets, granite countertops, updated bathroom. One of the best rental values on the Island IMHO.

Very nice accommodations

My husband and I were very happy with the location, access to the beach, cleanliness, organization and decor of this homey beach house. It was the perfect, quiet escape for us, within walking distance to a nice range of restaurants and stores, yet far away from the crowds. We stay in a lot of VRBO properties, and we consider this one of the nicest in this price range. It is pretty much a turn-key (make sure you bring linens and towels since they aren't included). The bed was comfy, the shower was great and the kitchen was well-equipped. We are already making plans to revisit in the fall.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

AFTER VACATIONING IN LBI FOR THE PAST 15 YEARS WE ALWAYS HAD A DREAM OF OWNING OUR OWN PLACE ON THE ISLAND. AFTER SAVING FOR MANY YEARS WE FINALLY MADE OUR DREAM COME TRUE IN EARLY 2009 WITH THE PURCHASE OF OUR PLACE WHICH MY WIFE NAMED 'MEANT TO BE'. THE REASON WE MADE THE PURCHASE WAS TO HAVE A PLACE FOR OUR FAMILY TO SPEND QUALITY TIME TOGETHER. THE REASON WE PURCHASED 'MEANT TO BE' WAS SIMPLY THAT IT IS 25 FEET TO THE OCEAN IN THE SOUGHT AFTER LEHYC SECTION AND WE JUST LOVE THE BEACH AND ALL THAT LBI HAS TO OFFER US. WE FEEL VERY FORTUNATE TO HAVE A PLACE JUST 25 FEET AWAY FROM A LIFEGUARD BEACH ON A DEAD END STREET.
