The location was a great spot for everything we did while we were in Cedar Rapids. Communication with Matt was great and he was very easy to work with. We recommend this place to others.
The house was clean and well kept. Everything in the house was in working order. The only problem was the outdoor temperature was 95 when we were there and the AC could not cool the upstairs. The middle level and basement were cool (70) but the upstairs rooms where the bathroom is were over 80. One of the days we were there wasnât as hot and upstairs was tolerable that night. The other nights it was too hot to sleep there.
This home met our needs to stay near Alliant Powerhouse Arena. Home could have been much cleaner. Shower had dust, dirt, and hair in it that didn't belong to anyone in our party. Also noticeable dirt behind toilet. One of the bedspreads had a dirty paw print. Overall the home was comfortable and sufficient, just could have been better with more attention to details. it
There were three adult couples who stayed at this property for one night. Property interior was clean, the bedrooms were nice, and the beds were very comfortable for sleeping. It looks like it has recently been remodeled. The accommodations are simple but were sufficient for our needs which were to having a gathering place for some friends coming into town for a concert at the Paramount. There is only one bathroom which is on the second floor. The fourth bedroom was in the basement. We didn't need to use it, which was probably for the best as it was damp from earlier rain or some other drainage issue. Since this is an older house, it's a typical old basement which has been fixed up. However, the room accommodation in the basement was not as nice as the other three. There was ample parking in the long driveway. Short uber ride into downtown. Walkable to the New Bo district and other neighborhood restaurants/bars. Yard needs some work and the neighborhood isn't the best, but we never felt unsafe. Property is located on the edge of an area looking to be revitalized, but neighboring houses are in a bit of disrepair. This rental itself was in very good shape as a result of recent remodeling and it was a comfortable stay for a reasonable price. Property manager very responsive.
The house was everything we needed it to be. We had 4 guys in town for a concert. Itâs a short walk to the arena and multiple restaurants/bars. I wouldnât hesitate staying again when back in the area.
