Mark asked if we were able to move properties which we were able to do. We gained an extra bedroom and the property was well kept and clean. We had no issues with the property.
Cant give accurate review of property as the owner changed our rental the night before. We didnt stay at this property. Also He came by during stay to drop off a roku remote that we didnt need. Weirdest rental process ive ever had. So all 4 becauae I really dont know what the property waa like
Overall, I was impressed with how clean it was and I also liked that it right off of 380. The thing I didn't like was the amount of traffic near the house. It was near a very busy street, so I heard motorcycles and cars go by into the night which made it hard to sleep.
The Tea l Deal is a convenient, quiet location. It has a roomy, charming interior, with much natural lighting. It was clean and comfortable. Mark made our stay quite enjoyable.
Our group was staying at this house to attend a hockey game. We ended up having 2 additional people join our group. I called the owner of the property to see if we could add 2 more people and he ended up finding a larger house for us. We were very happy with our stay here!!!
The host was responsive and accommodating to questions and requests. The house is older, but well maintained with some nice renovations. It was clean and we felt safe during our stay. It had 3 bedrooms with queen sized beds in each room. Mattresses were comfortable - my daughter commented it was the best sleep she has had in her whole life (sheâs 11). The house met our needs (we were in town for a sporting event). I would stay here again.
We stayed here as a group of 6. Mark, the host, was responsive and thoughtful. The home was bigger then expected with newer furniture, carpet, etc. They had thought of everything that we could possibly need. While there wasn't a lot in the immediate surroundings, the location was great. Very easy access to all the Cedar Rapids sites, expressway, etc. This is definitely a recommended place to stay.
Thanks for your hospitality Mark!
Pictures posted on vrbo give an accurate representation of the house. I used Google street view to scope out the area, so in respect to both house and location I knew what to expect. There were a couple quirky things that could be fixed; the basement door nob comes off when turned, the bottom screw of the banister going upstairs is not anchored. there is a lamp in the livingroom that has a loose socket that could be dangerous.) The house has central AC on the main floor and window AC in one of the bedrooms upstairs. The other upstairs bedroom is without AC, so we had to get creative on how to cool that room down. Luckily there were extra fans that helped with this. We initially wondered how the mattresses would be, but we all slept like rocks. My grandson loved the stuffed toys that are there (although I'll admit I wondered how clean they were. They looked clean, but you never know, right?). Nice bathroom that was well stocked. Mark gave us good directions on how to get to the parking area, given all the road construction. This was my first time using a service like vrbo, so I was surprised at the service fees that get added to the overall price. I assume that's normal. Overall a nice house/experience and we're likely to stay there again.
I was looking for somewhere near my son's new college campus. It was very close to the school,Walmart, and all the stores we needed to set up his dorm. The home was very nice and homely. The owner was very accomodating to our needs. Traveling from out of town the house had everything we needed with plenty of space
We needed a few days to unwind and have fun. Cedar Rapids delivered. Many surrounding parks , lakes outside activities to fill the daytime hours.(Palisades, Devonian Fossil Area, McBride lake, Nature Center).
Then the Newbo District for great foods, cute shops and a couple beers. Super friendly people. They also have one of the best Farmers Markets we have ever been to.
Markâs house was clean, comfortable and in a great location for getting around. Heâs a great host.
Mark was very hospitable even before we met him. Danielle, the cleaning person, was still there when we arrived; extra cleaning was needed from previous stay, it seems, but she had done a great job and was very friendly. Mark came to check on an issue she had reported, got everything fixed very quickly and even offered us a ride down to our dinner reservation. The place is nicely decorated and very comfortable, especially on the main floor. An enjoyable stay.
When we arrived we didn't know what to except but the inside was very nice and had a great homey feel. The decor was also a plus and our family felt very comfortable on our stay!
Teal Deal was a GREAT place for my husband and I to stay during my son's Division 3 National Baseball Tournament at Veterans Stadium. It was a close drive/walk to the stadium and to the Hilton where my son was staying with his team.
The house was very clean and comfortable. Much better than staying in a hotel.
Mark was very helpful and was quick to reply to my texts. He was a very gracious host.
This was a great place to stay, it was a beautiful home and appeared to be recently renovated, very clean, very spacious, and its a convenient location close to downtown. Mark was quick and responsive with communication. We were missing a couple amenities, but Mark immediately provided them plus some extras!
