Cozy Cabin + Ski Shuttle | Starlit Pines Lodge

Nestled in the woods in the private Blue River neighborhood, Starlit Pines Lodge is a cozy log home for a ski vacation and perfectly situated close to hiking and biking trails in summer. This 5-bedroom residence has amenities for all ages from spacious living spaces to a game room, gym, steam room, and kid’s playroom.

Gather in the main living area with a gas fireplace and plenty of seating for enjoying conversations, a movie or a card game. The chefs in the group will enjoy the gourmet kitchen with new professional-grade appliances, plus a wet bar with wine refrigerator and a propane grill on the deck. Enjoy meals around the dining table that seats 10 guests, plus barstool seating for 4 at the kitchen counter.

Venture out to the deck on the main level to soak in the views of the woods around the property, as well as some towering mountain peaks. You’ll even get a glimpse of Quandary Peak, one of Colorado’s legendary 14ers.

At the end of days filled with outdoor adventure, settle in at night in the home’s 5 bedrooms. The tranquil primary bedroom is on the main level and looks out to the surrounding forest. It features a king bed, big screen smart TV, and an ensuite bathroom with double vanity, large soaking tub and separate shower.

Two more inviting king bedrooms are located on the upper level. They both have smart TVs and their own hall bathrooms, each with a single vanity and shower. In between the bedrooms there is a loft area with a comfortable sofa with a twin trundle mattress, perfect for curling up with a good book. The young kids in the group will delight in a charming playroom with games, toys, and books.

On the home’s lower level, there is one king bedroom with a TV. This room shares a bathroom with a bunk room that has 2 twin over full bunk beds.

There are more fun and games to be had on the lower level. Enjoy movie night in the large family room and some friendly competition on the shuffleboard and arcade games. There’s a wet bar in the family room with microwave and beverage fridge. You can also get in a weight workout in the exercise room. Or head outside for a soak in the hot tub. The home also features a steam room.

For those needing a quiet space to catch up on work, there’s a private closed-door office with a large desk on the main level.

For guests’ convenience, the home features a full laundry room and a garage that accommodates 2 cars inside and two more in the driveway.

ABOUT THE AREA
The home is secluded in the private Blue River neighborhood surrounded by nature and close to hiking trails, yet a short jaunt to the historic town of Breckenridge.

Just south of Breck’s iconic Main Street sits Blue River, a peaceful riverside community focused on preserving natural beauty. You’ll discover endless outdoor adventures in Blue River, year-round including hiking/biking and fishing in the summer months and snowshoeing in winter. The nearby Mohawk Lakes are the perfect place to scope out wildlife and get your daily dose of outdoor adventure.

Breckenridge is easily accessible by car, or shuttle, in minutes. While staying at Starlit Lodge you can easily walk to the Summit Stage shuttle stop, less than 5 minutes away.

We ask that you please respect the wildlife that is present in Blue River – keep plenty of distance and do not offer any food.

SHUTTLE
This home enjoys complimentary use of the Moving Mountains shuttle, mid-November through mid-April, using the convenient shuttle app to schedule pickups. The use of the shuttle is on a first-come, first-served basis.

IN HOME AMENITIES
All Moving Mountains properties have WIFI and come fully stocked with paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, tissues), bathroom toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap), and detergents (dish, dishwasher, and laundry) as well as clean bed linens and towels. In addition, the kitchens are stocked with aluminum foil, plastic wrap, trash bags, sponges, soap, salt and pepper, coffee, tea, Nespresso, cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils, and standard small appliances.

This home does not have air conditioning. Colorado's cool summer nights will keep this home comfortable by opening windows after the sun goes down and then closing the windows and blinds during the day. Utilizing the overhead fans, if available, keeps airflow moving, and additional floor fans can be found in many bedroom closets. Can't live without it? A/C units may be available for rent for an additional fee.
