Moving Mountains is excited to offer complimentary shuttle service for this luxury vacation home from mid-November through mid-April.
In winter, Royal Retreat is a beautiful snowy paradise, the perfect upscale mountain lodge for sipping hot chocolate by the fireplace after a day on the nearby ski slopes or exploring the premises on snowshoes.
Summer showcases the beauty of this 9-acre retreat, with moose, deer, and other wildlife sightings common from the steps of this home, in addition to incredible mountain views and fishing within 25 feet of your doorstep. Endless National Park trails are within walking distance, creating a special getaway that is hard to find anywhere else.
This home has exceptional curb appeal with its mountain backdrop, rich wood and cedar shake siding, stone accents, and welcoming architectural elements. Inside, the great room boasts vaulted ceilings, a rock fireplace, and large windows that bring the outdoors inside. Cozy up with friends and family on plush seating or step outside and warm up around the front fire pit. With its desirable open concept layout, the great room unfolds to the dining area and kitchen and loft above with wide plank wood floors, exposed beams, and rustic décor.
Chefs will enjoy the beautiful kitchen with generous workspace, professional-grade appliances, custom cabinetry, double ovens, and two sinks. A large kitchen island with a decorative stone front and granite top adds bar seating for five and is the perfect place for onlookers or additional seating. The dining table includes bench seating for eight, the perfect place to enjoy a meal and recap the dayâs events. A grill and seating area on the back patio is perfect for happy hour in the summer months, with the comforting sounds of the river as background music.
On the main floor is the primary king suite, with TV, patio access, and a beautiful ensuite with dual sinks, jetted soaking tub, and glass walk-in shower, all surrounded by mountain views. A nearby family room can host movie and game nights or a quiet place to get away and read. On the upper level are three more rooms - a king bedroom, and two queen bedrooms, each with its own elegant bathroom and gorgeous views. An upstairs apartment offers more space with a king ensuite room and a bedroom with two twin beds and one twin over twin bunkbed, a TV, and an air hockey table the kids will love.
The back patio is the place to be for gathering around a second fire pit with Adirondack chair seating or take a relaxing soak in the private hot tub after a long day of adventures. No matter what your group has planned, Royal Retreat is the location for you, with its close proximity to both nature and historic downtown Breckenridge. This home enjoys complimentary use of the Moving Mountains shuttle, mid-November through mid-April, using the convenient shuttle app to schedule pickups. The use of the shuttle is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Moving Mountains has a Guest Services Team, offering full-service vacation planning assistance prior to your trip. You will be assigned a dedicated specialist who will guide you through all the activities and services available. You will also have access to our online Guest Portal where you can find extensive details about your reservation, your residence and guest services.
IN HOME AMENITIES
All Moving Mountains properties have WIFI and come fully stocked with paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, tissues), bathroom toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap), and detergents (dish, dishwasher, and laundry) as well as clean bed linens and towels. In addition, the kitchens are stocked with aluminum foil, plastic wrap, trash bags, sponges, soap, salt and pepper, coffee, tea, cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils, and standard small appliances.
This home does not have air conditioning. Colorado's cool summer nights will keep this home comfortable by opening windows after the sun goes down, and then closing the windows and blinds during the day. Utilizing the overhead fans, if available, keeps airflow moving, and additional floor fans can be found in many bedroom closets. Can't live without it? A/C units may be available for rent for an additional fee.
