This home is 3BD / 3.5BA and features all the elements we love about vacation rentals-incredible views, great location, plenty of space to spread out, and really fun outdoor space.



The Space:

This updated North Tahoe home offers spectacular filtered lake views. Find yourself on the slopes at Northstar Ski Resort in just 12 minutes from home.



Step inside to a cozy living room with a Smart TV to stream your favorite shows on Netflix or Amazon. There is a Queen-size sofa sleeper for additional sleep arrangements. Right outside the living room is the expansive patio with a private outdoor hot tub, the perfect spot to stargaze at night. Steps away is a treehouse for the adventurous soul.



The fully equipped kitchen comes with a toaster, coffee maker, wine ware, outdoor gas grill and more! Stay in on cold winter nights and cook your favorite meals. Don't forget to bring board games to end the night!



The master bedroom has a King bed with an en suite master bathroom. The second bedroom has a Queen bed and the third bedroom has 2 sets of twin bunkbeds, great for kids!



You'll have access to hiking trails at end of street.

Great stay

We have been on the road for 2 weeks and this is just what we needed. Quiet, plenty of space and perfect location. Took the hot tub overnight to heat up but after that it was fine. Would defiantly come back to this spot.

Overall, the stay was great. The space was perfect for me and my family to enjoy our weekend together. The hot tub did not get very warm, and the beds were a bit firm. The pillows—especially in the master bedroom—could use replacing. The blow-up mattress in the downstairs family room closet did not stay inflated very well and may have a slow leak. The blankets stored in that closet appeared loosely placed, making it unclear whether they were clean or already used.The kitchen could be a bit better organized, and having a knife block would be helpful so guests aren’t searching for knives. The coffee maker works, but the grinder does not—so be sure to bring ground coffee, as the coffee provided in the cupboard is whole bean.The views were great, and it was especially nice to sit on the porch in the morning and enjoy them.

Thank you for your review. I’m glad the space and views worked well for your family. I’m sorry the hot tub didn’t get very warm — our maintenance team will inspect the heater, controls, and chemistry. We’ll review the mattresses and replace pillows in the master as needed, and look into mattress toppers to address firmness. We’ll inspect or replace the inflatable mattress and ensure blankets are stored in sealed, clearly labeled packaging so their cleanliness is obvious. I’ll have the kitchen reorganized, add a knife block, and have the coffee grinder checked or replaced so whole-bean coffee isn’t an issue. We appreciate the feedback and hope to host you again.

Beautiful home, close to stores beach etc. I must say check in was a hassle. Also i think check out and check in Times should change. To late to check in, and to early to check out, for my opinion.

Great location, great house!

Loved the location of this property which is a short walk down the hill to shops and restaurants in Kings Beach and also a short walk to casinos just across the nearby NV border. The Lake Tahoe lakefront is even closer. Just beautiful and convenient. The house was well maintained and fit our party nicely. We liked the space inside and all the outside deck areas. The hot tub was a fantastic way to unwind after long days on the ski slopes which are a short drive fro this property. Would stay here again.

Really nice cabin with some peek views of the lake ... super roomy inside with essentially two living areas. Too much room for our little group of 4 people. We loved it!! Had a little problem with the hot tub, someone came out pronto and fixed it. We were so impressed!

Overall the place was really nice. Perfect for three kids and four adults to spread out and enjoy the place when we were there.Location on Lake Tahoe was perfect! it is a quiet side of the lake and that was exactly what we wanted!Few issues that were corrected very quickly:1. Only had 6 towels but was very quickly corrected by the management company which was awesome!2. The upstairs bedroom was very hot! Location of the country and not having A/C was just an adjustment that we had to make.3. Some of the emails to check in/sign forms went to my security because my company has our emails on lockdown. Just make sure you are checking on these before showing up and sitting there filling out forms.

Nice location…..but a few things

Great location but house needed updates. Bedrooms/bathrooms downstairs were separated from rest of home and not updated and had musty smell. Older fixtures and outdoor areas show wear and tear. Was waiting outside for 45 minutes to check in. Check in was at 4pm and we were waiting until 4:45 for house cleaners to finish (not their fault). It’s unfortunate, as you’re required to check out EARLY at 10am. Perhaps let people check out at Noon. Appreciate the location but not sure if I would book again at such a high price and strict rules/requirements

Thank you for the review. The owner had been aware of the musty smell downstairs - mainly due to pets, which are no longer allowed. COVID made things difficult in terms of replacing carpets and general updates. It ultimately took one year from scheduling to completion for the carpet installers to replace the carpets, which was finally done in April, 2022 along with new baseboard moulding. In addition, the owner is constantly making updates to the property whenever possible. Our apologies for the wait past 4pm to check in. We assure you this was an anomaly. Late checkouts are granted upon guest's request. Late checkouts are granted upon guest's request. Prices have come down significantly in the Tahoe area since the height of the pandemic. We do hope you book with us again! All the best!!

Great location/space but…

Great location and plenty of space for 2 families. Just a few things, the 2 bathrooms/showers downstairs are very small, you can literally use the toilet and brush your teeth at the same time, the pictures are a bit deceiving and don’t show you the showers. The showers are RV size, any average size adult will have a tough time. Furniture could use an update but not bad. The property needs a thorough cleaning, cobwebs outside and inside the master bedroom/restroom. We had ants in the upstairs bathroom. The spa was great, kids enjoyed it, but again - property needs a clean up, cobwebs, weeds etc. Overall we enjoyed the cabin, the location is great. We never called the owner about the ants, but I hope the owner addresses these issues because the cabin has great potential and future renters will enjoy it.

Great home but poor Maintenace of the home.

My family and I enjoyed our stay but we some issues with it. Our main problem with this home was that it was very messy. Both inside and outside needed some cleaning. The bathrooms had an awful smell and our bedding on the bunkbeds where dirty. We had spiders and ant's problems downstairs and upstairs. The 2nd leaving room couches had what looked like throw up and were dirty. The worst thing of it all were the dishes.... All of the dishes where dirty and we had to rewash all of them. I read the reviews of the home and thought that the cleaning problem would be solved after many complains over it, but they weren't. Seeing how much we are getting charged for the cleaning of the home you'd expect it to be clean before arriving. I think it time for new house keepers. Some homes we've stayed at provided us kitchen essentials and although this home did, they failed to provide us with some. It would be great of the hosts part to inform us what is not provide so we can come prepare. Overall, the home was amazing and the location as well but details like the cleaning really ruins the whole thing.

A poor stay

A group of us stayed in this house during a golf trip. Numerous issues as described by the previous reviewer, but I wanted to add a few more: - The mattresses were rock hard. Hard as in granite hard. Woke up each day with aches and pains all over. If you want sleeping comfort, look elsewhere! - Unacceptable that the owner of this house (or the property manager) did not dispatch the necessary service personnel to fix the hot tub as soon as we reported to them that it was not working. One of the biggest reasons we chose this rental house was because it had the hot tub that we could use to sooth sore muscles after playing 36 holes of golf each day. Had we known it didn't work, we would not have booked the property. False advertising! - Last, the amount of time we spent on the phone with the unempowered property manager significantly reduced the quality of our stay. The group of us were unable to hang out together and bond much because one of us always had a phone glued to our ear speaking with the property management company! As an owner of a rental property myself, I cringed at how the concerns we raised during our stay were dealt with by the owner/manager. It is a textbook display of how NOT to manage a property if you're seeking to create a positive guest experience.

Filthy and Smelly Home - Horrible Property Management Staff

The home was filthy. Stained couches and other furniture. There was mold on the carpets and what appeared to be vomit on the wallls. Exhaust fan in bathroom was broken and extremely loud. The property management team was rude. While we eventually received a refund, we were stuck without a place to stay and had to pay a huge last minute premium rate at a hotel 20 mile away. Avoid this place!!

Overpriced but Otherwise OK

Due to the pandemic, we booked this house last minute and paid much more than we usually do. (We have vacationed in the same area the last 6 years and have never paid this much... VRBO will not let me list what we paid per night) for what we got. But we didn't have many options. The house has a funky layout. Super tiny bathrooms and even tinier showers, and bedroom 3 and 4 are actually one bedroom with a curtain in between them. You must walk through bedroom 3 to get to bedroom 4. We had pre-teen girls and boys so this would have been good to know since dressing and privacy was an issue. The fold out bed in the den was super uncomfortable. We had to top it with our camping mattress pads which we luckily had. The master bath shower leaks water everywhere. Bunk beads are wobbly. The good news, the location was awesome and we still had a great time. PS. We had no communication with the property manager as it was not needed, yet this questionnaire forced me to rate our communication. So, we put excellent but don't really know as we didn't communicate.

It's ok for the price

This place is pretty old from what I can see. It housed everyone fine but there's a couple things with this house. 1) There are a total of 3 bathrooms and only 1 bathroom can have water at a time. 2) The hot tub didn't get hot, it just stayed warm no matter how you reset it. 3) Everything didn't seem to be that clean, there were stains on the blankets. The only good thing I'd have to say is that it allows dogs.

Hi Bould, We are very sorry for the maintenance and cleaning issues during your stay. We encourage our guests to reach out during their stay, as our local on-site team is very reactive to immediate issues. Of the four bathrooms on the premises, the three that do have showers have since been tested to confirm that all do provide hot water simultaneously. It is possible for the hot water to temporarily run out if several consecutive showers are taken. Our apologies for the hot tub heating. The tub does take some hours to heat up if heating from base temperature of 80-deg. Also, the heating element will not activate if the jets are on. This is a safety feature of the tub to prevent a circuit break. The hot tub has also since been tested and is heating correctly. Our housekeeping team has been notified and coached about the cleaning issues, including the sheets. Again, our apologies here. Thank you again for your valuable feedback. The owner takes these issues very seriously and welcomes any and all feedback regarding the quality of guests' experience.

Great for our group

Our group of 10 was comprised of 2 young families and 2 other adult friends. This property was great for all of us to hang out together and spread out into our own spaces. We enjoyed the hot tub, making meals together and snow-shoeing out the back door! The kids loved the little tree-house/ cabin. Great place to stay for a winter weekend!

Simply the most beautiful view! We loved staying at this home - there was plenty of room and everyone in our family was happy with the amount of space available! Every space is also well detailed and adds to the charm of this home. The stay was wonderful! We can't wait to return! The house is amazing and it has every amenity that you’d want. Very comfortable sleeping areas, well stocked kitchen, and a great outdoor deck. Hot Tubs are always a plus! Would highly recommend!

Lots of space for a great family visit!

The view is just as lovely as the pictures. Beds are comfortable and plentiful. Kitchen is well stocked with cookware and serving dishes for large family meals. Bathrooms were stocked with sufficient toilet paper and nice soaps/shampoos. The house has lots of thoughtful touches for guests. Amazing location, view and very clean! Definitely will be back here! This place is amazing and anyone looking at this should stay here. It’s the cutest place with nooks and crannies of rooms and floors full of unique qualities. We had enough room to spread out and every layer of the home is truly great. We did yoga on the balcony one morning and spent the majority of our time soaking up every inch of this place. We had a terrific time! This place is so beautiful!

Cozy place for a large group!

We loved this place!! The outdoor area was quite a treat ...the hot tub gazebo, the grills, the deck, the fire pit ...and the storybook treehouse?!?! Oh, and we were visited by some deer. The neighborhood is very quiet, so we slept like babies. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the center island was the perfect wine-and-cheese headquarters. Having a spare mini fridge in the bar area was a nice touch. The place has an interesting layout -compartmentalized, yet sprawling. We all had enough space to ourselves, and the main area was great for gathering. Nice decor, btw, it felt like home. Thanks for having us!

The location was great, the view was great, but that is all that was great.

Amazing pictures. What a view. What a lovely hot tub, in the picture. Don’t get sucker-punched. That’s where it ends. The fundamental problems: 1. The hot tub did not function for the entire 5 nights of our stay. Get an electrician to fix the power source for the tub before a guest gets electrocuted trying. 2. The TVs are nice, but not being hooked up to any cable or satellite, practically worthless...merely decorative. A blatant omission (fraud?) not to state on the website that TVs are only functional for streaming. What a joke. 3. The leaks in the master bath (which we noted as the subject of a prior review) have not been fixed months later (and n/w/s the response to that review that they would be))...but that is just the tip of the iceberg. Get a plumber in here fast. The bathroom faucet in the downstairs bedroom drips constantly. The drain in the shower in the bunk room backs up within 30 seconds of turning on the shower...by the time the water is warm enough to get in, you have 2 inches of standing water in the shower, and about 3 minutes to get in and out (we did) before the water overflows the pan onto the bathroom floor. Nothing like showering while standing in 5 inches of dirty/soapy water. Wow. 4. The bunks are unfit for use. A prior review said not usable by an adult. Adults? I would not put my kids in those bunks. Mattresses decrepit. Support boards on top bunk beds broken, and fabric coverings on the undersides of top mattresses ripped in multiple places and hanging down in the face of the person sleeping in the lower bunk. Unfit for use. In addition, if it were mine: 1. Exterminator, quick. Spiders! 2. The carpets are worn and filthy looking, even if they were clean (no way to know if they were, as they were so worn and filthy). Replace the carpet. 3. The outdoor areas are great, but nasty with tree debris and other assorted dirt. Get a blower and blow off the patio/seating areas before guests arrive. Bad form to force guests to dirty themselves if they use the outdoor amenities prominently displayed on the website. 4. Replace appliances (except the stove, which is a good piece of equipment), and get a set of quality pots/pans/bakeware. Honestly, a few hundred bucks and the impression is completely different. Get a Keurig, and tell your prospective tenants on the website so they can be prepared with the right supplies. This property could be amazing. But it is not...not close. Really disappointing.👎

The hot tub issue should have been reacted to quickly to accommodate your group and for this we apologize. This has since been addressed. We have updated our listing to reflect the TV's set up for dvds and streaming only and that cable is not available. The bunk beds are being repaired for future use and the Kitchen has been equipped with newly purchased pots and pans. Positive: location, filtered view of the lake and the master bedroom minus the jet tub which doesn't work. Here we go! Lake Tahoe is our vacation destination for the past 27 years (2-3 times a year). Photos for the outdoor spaces are deceptive. Hot tub and gas grill were not working upon our arrival and during our entire stay (except on our last night, the technician must of shown up while we were gone. We found a temperature floater on the surface of the hot tub). Heads up would of been nice, actually we should of been notified letting us know the tech would be on the property to troubleshoot. The deck around the tub very worn and splintered. The general upkeep of outside area was poor. Many small items not accounted for like no garbage bags, laundry detergent (empty container left on the washer), dish washer soap, all these items which we had to purchase since the instruction was to load the dishes and laundry upon our departure w/ "provided" soaps. Not! And also there was no iron as listed on the site. We had to ask for it. Carpets gave off a bad order. Cleaning lady arrived a day before we were to check out. At this point, we couldn't take it any more. Did someone at the office get the dates wrong? Did they book someone else for this property when we have paid for 6 nights? But the worst aspect to this property was dealing with RENTLEVER the management company. Trying to get all these issues addressed and resolved was a nightmare. We kept getting passed from one person to another. Would have been more pleasant to spent a couple of hours at the DMV. We have happily used VRBO many times and this was by far our worst experience. Total let down considering the cost of this property and what was advertised. Lack of communication and clarity with RENTLEVER had a huge impact on our stay. Yes, they did refund $250 which is the charge for their service. That was the least they could of done. The level of stress and disappointment are not clearly stated on this review as I want to keep it straight and to the point.

Convenient location but has some issues

This house has a fantastic location, less that 10 minutes from the Kings Beach Recreation area. However, it has some problems: - we parked in the designated spots, but the city garbage collector would still not pick up the trash - large inflatable mattress has a leak so it could not be used, meaning 10th guest did not have a bed - potential renters should be aware that bunk beds are standard twin size and therefore not appropriate for adults - master shower has a water collection problem around the hot/cold handles causing water to spill onto the floor and flood the area - when we arrived, prepared our meat to grill and went out to the gas grill, we found that the gas can was empty (unacceptable for a house of this caliber) - it was typically 95 degrees each day, but the automatic ice maker did not work and we had to make ice manually with ice trays throughout the day - there is no kleenex provided - there is no foil in the kitchen

Beautiful property

Great experience. Only comment would be that we were short on garbage bags. And some maintenance instructions for the hot tub would have been helpful. But overall it was amazing!
