ONE LEVEL: (1 bedroom) 2 DOUBLES, 1 QUEEN sleeper sofa, 1 bath, kitchen, open concept dining/living area, balcony overlooking the ocean as well as the pool and lazy river tucked behind low sand dunes.

AMENITIES: Flat screen cable TV-2, internet access, microwave, flattop stove, full size refrigerator, hair dryer, balcony with ocean view, laundry facility on site, shared elevator service, outdoor pool with hot tub, lazy river and toddler pool, indoor pool with hot tub and fitness room - all for Bridgewater guests only. NO dishwasher.

ACCESSIBLE AMENITIES: 7 miles of soft sandy beach, boardwalk access to beach w/rinsing shower, 7 lighted outdoor pickleball/tennis courts, coffee shop, spa & salon, bicycle rentals, biking and walking paths, lakeside fishing, and close proximity to prominent golf courses and trendy local eateries.

HOUSEKEEPING / LINENS: All short-term stays include departure clean service, bed and bath linens, and beds made upon arrival. Linens and housekeeping service are additional costs for monthly stays.

LENGTH OF STAY: Saturday to Saturday stays during peak summer. Partial-week stays may be considered for last-minute bookings. 3-night minimum stays available the rest of the year. Monthly winter rental inquiries are welcome.

Litchfield by the Sea, a beach front gated community, offers a relaxing Lowcountry coastal experience on the South Strand. The tame but naturalized landscape of signature Palmetto palms, native myrtles, seaside roses, cedars and hollies wend around a central fresh water fishing lake, sweeping green spaces and quintessential tidal creek.

Micro-communities of residential homes blend with townhomes and low to mid-rise condo complexes, each boasting their own architectural style, signature outdoor pool and water views.

Common areas offer residents and guests alike access to outdoor lighted tennis courts, fishing and crabbing piers on the lake and saltmarsh, winding walking and biking paths and private direct access to one of the finest beaches on the east coast.

Litchfield Beach is easily among the prettiest beaches in South Carolina. Bounded by low lying sand dunes and the blue-green ocean, the beach is characteristically wide with soft white sand and spans 7 miles from end to end.

The Pawleys Island/Litchfield Beach area is known locally as the Waccamaw Neck. Pawleys Island, known for its “arrogantly shabby” character, encompasses Litchfield but has its own beach – and island – where it splits away from the south end of Litchfield Beach.
