The management company was professional and responsive, big issue with this particular unit was that the air-conditioning was not working and they could not repair it for close to 24 hours. They did not have another place to put us and the owner refused to respond to the management company to make any accommodations on the price and us being without AC in 90 weather.

As soon as we were notified, we worked diligently to coordinate repairs and restore the system as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, mechanical issues can occur without warning, and in this case the repair took longer than anticipated. We understand how uncomfortable this situation was and regret the disruption to your vacation. We appreciate your patience and understanding while our team worked to resolve the issue. The location being able to walk right out to the beach is great, but there is a long-term construction project going on next-door. You hear the noise or if windows are open &on the beach. There’s only 4 forks, knives & spoons so you are constantly washing stuff. The mattress was not set on the frame properly so the first two nights the bed was like a seesaw, when my husband moved or got out of it and bounced me around. Early in the morning we asked someone to come up and take a look at it and at 4:30 nobody had contacted us to figure out how to fix it. The smell of air fresheners, perfume ridden cleansers are toxic, and the elevator waiting area is filled with these toxic smells. We did not have beach towels the first couple of days. We only realized they were available because we saw them on a housekeeping cart & we had to ask for them. There were only three hangers in the entire condo but yet this place can sleep up to 6 people. There are no food storage containers so you cook something you have nothing to store leftovers in or if you want to chop up vegetables or fruit there is nothing to store them in. There is not even a vegetable peeler. No umbrellas for shade at the pool. There is a maintenance guy on staff full-time but yet our air conditioning stopped working late in the day and all throughout the night because the drain was clogged which should be regular maintenance item looked at frequently because there’s no 24 hour service. There was also mold in the shower.

There is currently construction taking place next door, and we have adjusted our rates accordingly to reflect that. We always aim to be transparent so guests can make the best decision for their stay. Regarding the maintenance items, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Once we were notified of the AC and bed concerns, both were addressed the following morning. We understand how important comfort is during your stay, and we appreciate your patience while those were resolved. Since your visit, we have made several improvements based directly on feedback like yours. We have transitioned to a new housekeeping team, updated our cleaning products, and now ensure beach towels are placed in every condo prior to arrival. We are also reviewing kitchen inventory and in-unit items to ensure everything is fully stocked and guest-ready. We also take cleanliness concerns very seriously and will be investigating and addressing the shower issue you mentioned immediately. Your feedback is incredibly valuable and helps us continue to improve both the condo and the overall guest experience.
