As noted in our listing, lake levels are managed by TVA and can vary significantly depending on the time of year and weather conditions. Because of the unusually low levels during your stay, we had already deeply discounted the home’s holiday weekend pricing accordingly. You booked the property on Friday for a Saturday holiday weekend arrival, and prior to your stay we communicated that the lake levels were low. After you arrived and expressed concern, we immediately offered the option to cancel and receive a refund so you could secure alternate accommodations if desired. You chose to remain at the property for the duration of your stay. We always strive to be transparent in our listing descriptions and communication, and we’re sorry the lake conditions did not meet your expectations. We do appreciate your stay and your feedback.
