We were very pleased with the size and accommodations. We were a little leary at first thinking something must be off since the price was so reasonable but we were so pleased and would definitely go there again and recommend to our friends! It was everything that was advertised!

Great house

The house is great, clean and everything you need is there. The check in and check out process are well done and easy to follow. Plenty of space for a big family. The pool and the hot tub are a plus, especially after a day of hiking or exploring the area. The pool table was a nice addition to our stay, too! We loved the quiet neighborhood!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked our trip late December online. We stayed Sunday-Friday. Finding the location was not an issue and we were supplied all the codes that we needed to enjoy all the areas of the home. We did see some evidence of past visitors, a beer bottle in the movie room, one by the hot tub, and bottles that looked to have been thrown over the railings of the deck. A Lego was found on the carpet of the stairs to the pool. Over all it was minor so I did not alert maintenance. I did call maintenance because we wanted to use the grill and the propane tank on the grill was empty. I was called back within 5-10 minutes and given the lock code with no issues. It’s a lot of house which was nice. We enjoyed the pool table, games, pool, hot tub and theater room. Some of the furnishings in the home could definitely use some updating but over all, I am pleased with what we experienced for what we paid.

Rented through Christmas for a Christmas present for the grandkids. Pool was unusable to cold maintenance working on it when we arrived and had to refill due to worn gaskets and leaking. He advised me to contact host since pool would not be heated for our stay. I did this but nothing was ever addressed on this issue. This made my grandkids unhappy. I was unhappy due to the extra price I had paid just for the pool. It was a nice cabin being elderly. Just beware there are alot of steps making game room and theater room off limits to those not able to do steps. Pots pans scratched up may want to tote your own.

Reviewer Comments: THE HOME WAS REALLY NICE WITH PLENTY OF ROOMS FOR 8 ADULTS AND 6 CHILDREN, THE KIDS LOVED THE THEATER ROOM, ARCADE GAMES AND THE FIRE PIT. THE ADULTS LIKED THE LARGE BEDROOM SUITES, EACH WITH A JETTED TUB. IT IS LOCATED IN A GREAT LOCATION, CLOSE TO ALL THE ATTRACTIONS BUT FAR ENOUGH AWAY TO NOT HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE TRAFFIC, AND IN A QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD AND THE NEIGHBORS NOT TO CLOSE. THE PROPERTY MANAGER WAS GREAT AND VERY ATTENTIVE TO ANY ISSUES THAT WE HAD.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stayed at this lodge. Built in the core of great smoky mountains. Rooms were organised, bathrooms were cleaned. Kitchens were equipped with all the necessary items needed to make your stay excellent. Indoor pool was pretty big to accommodate the entire guest in my trip. Only the concern was the propane tank which was little greasy. Besides that, I have overall great experience. Must try Cherokee pool lodge! You won’t be disappointed.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was very large and had lots of space for a large group. When searching for a cabin in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area I some how missed that this cabin was a 40 minute drive away. We were disappointed that when we arrived the pool wasn’t up to temperature and was extremely cold. We could feel warm water coming from the jets so we knew they must have turned the heater on before we arrived. It took 24 hours to warm up, but the temp they had it set on was still extremely cold. A few more degrees would have made all the difference.

The property's location is available on all booking platforms, but we understand how that detail could be overlooked during the search process. As for the pool, the heater remains on at all times and is set to the same temperature standard as most indoor pools. While personal comfort levels can vary, it is functioning properly and consistently maintained. We enjoyed our stay. The amenities were a big hit for the kids. I will say the pool was not heated as we would have thought. It definitely was cold and the kids wouldn’t go in it. The hot tub we were able to access it on day 2 as it was not heated nor on the heat setting when we arrived. The place was overall clean. We did have the perfect little alarm clock every morning around 0830 of a robin who insisted on pooping all over my Tahoe and throwing himself into the window of the room we were sleeping in The game room and theater room was a huge hit. We definitely will keep this place in mind for future stays.

Its unfortunate to get this review. The guest had no issues with our cabin in any way, none, nada, nil..... until he forgot his personal belongings on the departure day. Our cleaning team had recovered his laptop and they were dropped off to be shipped back to him. The guest didnt like this and became very aggressive. He wanted us to go pick up his items from the shipping company and drive to meet him with his belongings. This review is the result of the guest not taking accountability to care for his own items.
