Big Dipper Lodge is a spacious 3 bedroom 4 bath 4,331 sq ft cabin on an acre with nearby hiking, and all you need for a perfect vacation: Fast internet, Roku, Xfinity TV, Amazon Alexa and indoor Swimming Pool. Gatlinburg Mobile Massage will do in cabin massages by appointment! Kitchen and 3 baths have exotic granite. There are 3 Master Suites, each with King log bed, attached bath, and Jacuzzi. There is an upstairs area with 2 bunk full sized log beds. The indoor heated pool is on the cabin's lowest level, as well as a deck to sun, and Amazon Alexa to play your favorite music or trivia game. Convenient 20 min drive to Gatlinburg attractions, and without the heavy traffic of staying in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. Smoky Mountain Park entrance is 7/10 mile away!

Main entry has Living Room, billiards, stocked kitchen, Laundry Area, and Master Bedroom 1. Upper level has 2 Masters, an area with Full size bunk set, pro foosball game, and a spacious theater room with superior sound, high end seating for 8 mini fridge and microwave. There is a 75" flat screen with Bose sound, Xfinity throughout and a Roku in LR and a 2d level bedroom. Top floor crow's nest has a hot tub for 7 with wooded and seasonal mountain views. You can catch your favorite shows as hot tub area has its own HDTV! Lowest level features indoor heated swimming pool.

7/10 mile from the cabin is the Cosby Great Smoky National Park Entrance and available Picnic areas where you can hike 4.5 miles to beautiful Hen Wallow Falls. Cosby entrance is a favorite with locals and Smokies visitors in the know. A 1.4 Mile hike to Sutton Ridge Overlook offers amazing views. Come to Cosby..the quiet uncrowded entrance to the Smokies. Birthday Vacation

This cabin did not disappoint at all. The pictures do not do the cabin any justice. It’s very big and spacious. Jamie was awesome with communication and the cabin was not hard to find and is in the center of everything. I would definitely book again and look forward to booking it.

Absolutely Beautiful Smoky Mtn Getaway

The cabin was amazing! It’s just what we were looking for, close but not in the core Pigeon Forge area. Easy to getaway from the craziness. The hosts were fantastic with communication and got back to you on anything very quickly. This was the perfect place for a nice getaway!

Perfect weekend getaway!

Our family loved this cabin! Between the indoor pool and the movie theater we didn’t leave at all our first full day. The kids loved the area too. We took a walk one day and the surrounding woods were just beautiful. The location was ideal too. We were close enough to go to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge for some attractions but not so close that we had to deal with crazy traffic and crowds. The hosts were also super kind and dry responsive. We will definitely be back!

Amazing

Overall everything about this place is amazing it is so relaxing and plenty to do around the cabin it’s close to gatlinburg as well the games and theater and pool were awesome my kids loved every minute of it they didn’t want to leave they were already begging me to plan another trip the day we left we will definitely be coming back it was very clean just over all amazing if I could give it more then five stars I would thank you so much for an amazing weekend.

What a fantastic vacation!

My family and I enjoyed such a relaxing and enjoyable thanksgiving at this home. From the moment of booking up until after checkout, communication with the homeowners was so quick and clear. The home was in a quiet and safe area. It was only about 35 minutes from the gatlinburg area which allowed for plenty of entertainment when our family wanted to get out. Honestly, the home was so stocked with games, movies, fast internet, pool, and lounging areas, spending time in the home was the most enjoyable part of our vacation. The home was stocked with plenty of starter packs of cleaning items, kitchen pans, towels, it was a smooth transition. We could not recommend this home more!

I love cooking, baking and getting together with family and grand babies, gardening and genealogy. Dane loves sports especially golf. We both love East Tennessee with its incomparable beauty and incredibly gracious and kind locals.

This property is a great place for a memorable vacation. If you enjoy hiking, we are 7/10 of mile to the Cosby Smoky Mountain Park entrance. There are local diners to try in nearby Newport and Cosby. You can get fresh produce and local honey at Carvers Apple Orchard. Cabin is in a quiet rural area, but with amazing mountain views driving in. No steep roads. Dipper is in an upscale resort and has wonderful amenities. How many area cabins have an indoor pool, hot tub in crows nest with views, luxury comfort and amazing spacious theater? We hope you enjoy Big Dipper as much as we have. So many options to keep you having fun..and isn't that what vacations are all about?
