Discover this terrific 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom gem directly on the Mississippi River in LeClaire, IA! This enchanting house boasts unobstructed river views from almost every room, with private river access and docks.

Centrally located between LeClaire and Princeton, IA – close driving distance to historic downtown LeClaire shops, eats, sips, entertainment, activities and more. Enjoy the tranquility of the river, and the experience of LeClaire, IA all in one. Professional styling, fully stocked kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms, a basement bar and outdoor patio for entertaining, the Driftwood Retreat is the only way to experience a river getaway in true fashion.

The Driftwood Retreat boasts 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, one on each floor of the home. The main level bedroom has a queen bed and a bath across the hall. The primary bedroom is on the 2nd level and has a king bed, large bath with a walk in shower with a jetted tub and laundry. Imagine yourself waking up in the morning and enjoying a cup of coffee from the stocked Keurig coffee pot while relaxing in the swivel recliners by the window overlooking the Mississippi River. The other two bedrooms are in the lower level. They both have queen beds. In addition, there is a comfy queen sofa sleeper in the leather sofa. The lower level has a full bath as well.

From a heated garage, to 2 separate laundry facilities, plenty of dining and entertainment space, and a plethora of opportunities for outdoor activities, you couldn't ask for more during your river vacation.

Three bedrooms, bathrooms, and sitting areas meant we siblings could have our own space if we wanted. The shared indoor and outdoor spaces invited conversations and laughs. The kitchen was better supplied than any of our own at home!

The house is beautiful and luxurious with all the convenioences and amenities. The outside space is perfect for relaxing on the riverbank. The large picture windows offer great views of the river for watching wildlife and river traffic. The location is very convenient to take advantage of all the attractions of Le Claire, IA. We will be returning.

The house is beautiful, clean and tastefully decorated. The location is very good for worm and cold seasons stay.The kitchen and the house overall are very well equipped. We had an incredible time and plan to rent it again.

What an awesome place to stay! My 5 sisters and I spent 3 nights here. We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay! The place was clean, spacious, well stocked, beautifully decorated, had spectacular views, comfortable beds, plenty of space, excellent communication with the owner, and plenty of warm, cozy blankets to snuggle up on the couch with. We will definitely be back! Thank you for everything!

The Driftwood Retreat was a beautiful home and perfect for our multi-generational family stay. The private, spacious master suite was amazing for us. My parents enjoyed the main floor bedroom. Our kids loved having their own bedrooms & living space on the basement level. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a large breakfast before heading out for the day and plenty of space to spread out snacks for our evenings of game playing. The views of the river are amazing! Even tho it was in the 90’s for temperature- the shaded patio was comfortable with the evening breeze off the river. We enjoyed watching the river traffic go by. You can easily spend a day in LeClaire browsing the cute shops & museum. We drove to nearby Clinton to find the Dambo trolls. We also braved the gravel road to the Wide River Winery in Clinton- but the views, hospitality, and wine are definitely worth the trek!If we ever find ourselves in the area again- we would absolutely stay again at this property. We loved everything about it!

This home is right on the river and has the most amazing views. Perfect spot to sit outside and views from the home are spectacular. This 4 bedroom house has everything that you could possibly need. It's better than the pictures can show it.

There were 8 of us and 7 were celebrating a milestone birthday this year. We loved the house and location(right on the river)! The pictures online do not do the house justice. The owner was very reachable! We hope to stay here again!

This was a fantastic house with everything as described. We take a mini-vacation every year with our "kids" and grandkids. Everyone agreed this was the best VRBO yet. So much space and everything you need in the house. Wonderful location right on the river. Excellent communication with hosts. Leclaire has wonderful shops and a very interesting museum. Something for everyone. Highly recommend.

This property had wonderful views of the Mississippi from all levels. Backyard was amazing, especially in the evening. Little touches like binoculars for viewing the water craft or birds; throw pillows and blankets were right where you needed them. We only used kitchen for breakfast, but found everything we needed. We had a wonderful time and would recommend highly!

Beautiful house on the Mississippi. Accommodations are beautiful. Close to train track and train runs thru the night but after the first night got use to it. It was 3 couples (65 plus) 1 single 65 plus. Stayed a lot of places would rank this as one of the best. Plenty to do in LeClaire and the quad cities. We actually have a week booked there in July with family and looking forward to it

I wish that I had the vocabulary to say how much we loved staying at The Driftwood Retreat. The location was great, so much room, decorations are off the chart, stocked to the hilt and the outdoor area could not have been any better. There is so much more that I could say but I think you get the idea. We’ll be back for sure. Thanks
