Awesome 3 Bedroom River Front Retreat right on the water!

Relax with family or friends at this beautiful home. This beautiful home offers all of the amenities you come to expect when traveling. Located on the Mississippi River, every location in this home provides a beautiful view! Whether you own a boat, utilize the private dock or simply sit by the water, you are bound to enjoy all that this home has to offer. The dock is usually in the water between May and November depending on the water levels.

The space

This home has an open floor concept and allows you to enjoy the outdoors easily with two points of access to the bar area and/or patio. The adorable pantry offers a full coffee bar with all the fixins!!

Guest access

When you check in, you will enter through the door closest to the driveway which has a combination lock. The code will be provided to you prior to check-in. This code will be used throughout your stay. The code will be changed after checkout for the next guests.
Other things to note
A water softener and a reverse osmosis filtered water system was installed to ensure the drinking water is pure and eliminates the need for guests to buy bottled water. The soft water is great for the shower as well. The automatic ice maker in the refrigerator also utilizes filtered water and provides plenty of ice for your stay.

This is a great property with a riverfront location. Everything was clean and well-stocked with amenities and snacks. The host communication was excellent and timely. It is very easy to enjoy the river view on the patio, inside the breezeway or inside the main house. I would recommend this property.

We had a very good time. The house is very nice and clean. The patio is really nice and with the house facing east, there is nice shade and a great breeze off the river all afternoon and evening; it was 85-90 degrees everyday and we were very comfortable the whole time. We caught 17 fish in 2.5 days, so my husband was very happy. We will be back and highly recommend!!

A great experience. Didn't want to leave. Enjoyed watching the barge traffic on the river in front and the railroad traffic in the back. The families of geese with so many babies eating grass in the yard was an extra fun feature. My favorite spot was the two chairs in front of the large bedroom window, but the patio was a close second. Very comfortable, spacious and nicely equipped home. Awesome to be right at the river's edge. Hope we can stop here again.

River Front Retreat was exactly as advertised. Clean and comfortable. Well supplied kitchen, great views. Train does run by the house a couple of times a day, but was not bothersome. Highly recommend and would visit again.

We visit our daughter at Palmer in Davenport. Its great to get a nice place for us to visit over a weekend. It was clean, the beds were very comfortable and we cooked up a great dinner! We did a puzzle together and saw many Eagles! Would recommend it highly.

We really enjoyed our anniversary getaway. We picked it because it was on the river. We especially loved the seating area in the bedroom with very large windows so could relax with coffee and watch the river, and also the sunrises. The updated decor was beautiful. We also took advantage of the super cute coffee bar. Unfortunately we didn't get to use the very nice patio area since it was too cold. Note to self: no more March getaways. But, we did enjoy playing corn hole in an add-on area that was perfect for it inside the house. We hope to get to stay again....but in a much warmer season, with friends and family since there's LOTS of gathering areas.

The house is in the perfect location on the river and is very beautiful done and very clean. The beds are extremley comfortable and nice to snuggle in! We could sit in the master bedroom and watch the river out the enormous windows forever as it was hypnotic. The host are very responsive and helpful and we can't wait to come back when it is warmer so we can enjoy the BBQ grill and outside deck!

Could not of had a better stay!!! Fantastic host, beautiful property and very well thought out home. We really enjoyed the little extras that went a very long way with making us feel welcome and comfortable. This home has everything you need and want in a vacation spot. I recommend visiting the town as it has a bunch of hidden gems and shops. Michelle did a fantastic job and is a top notch host. Thank you for helping us have a great anniversary.
