We picked the absolute best place to stay in Iowa for scouting for Bald Eagles. It was centrally located to all the places I wanted to go. The house is beautiful and spotless. All of the back of the house has views of the Mississippi river, which was stunning. The water was frozen over, but you could see ducks here and there and a couple of eagles as well. It was just beautiful. The house had plenty of room felt very spacious and had little sitting area to look out over the Mississippi river, which I loved. Thereâs also a bar room, which would be really awesome in the summer. It has a dartboard and a bar area and a seating area and a TV with a door that opens up to the patio where thereâs a fire pit. I canât say enough good things about this place if you book it, you wonât be disappointed. I hope to stay here again possibly in the summer and definitely next eagle season. Thank you so much. Also, there was a coffee nook where they provided snacks, which was a bonus. Most places donât do that. The kitchen was great with a very nice gas stove and nice big refrigerator. It really had everything you could possibly need.
