La maison moderne rénovée comprend les éléments suivants:
cuisine - Plan de travail en granit, four double, plaque de cuisson plate, lave-vaisselle, armoires en noyer, argenterie, tous les ustensiles de cuisine et vaisselle nécessaires. Des barbecues au gaz et au charbon de bois sont également disponibles pour les grillades à l'extérieur.

Chaleur / Air selon la saison. Planchers de bois franc, intérieur en pin noueux - extérieur en demi rond rond.
Télévision par câble, Internet haute vitesse sans fil pour ceux qui ont besoin de suivre le travail ou les communications. Ordinateur et imprimante à utiliser si nécessaire. Matelas de qualité supérieure sur chacun des 7 lits. 1 King, 1 queen, 1 Full, 3 Twins et un Queen Air dans la chambre. 2 chambres à l'étage et 2 principales plus le hangar à bateaux. Linge de maison fourni pour tous les lits.

Douche à l'italienne, 2 laveuses et sécheuses. Serviettes de plage, serviettes de douche et torchons fournis.

Le quai de 100 pieds permet de pêcher depuis le quai. Les escaliers et l'échelle du quai permettent un accès facile à l'eau. L'eau est profonde jusqu'aux chevilles et à environ 3 pieds de profondeur à l'extrémité du quai. Fond de sable avec AUCUNE chute dans la zone en face de la cabine.

Location de ponton disponible chez nous. Nous avons de nombreux gilets de sauvetage et tailles pour s'adapter à la plupart des tailles. Ski nautique, Kneeboards ou tubes à utiliser derrière votre bateau sont également disponibles.

Le hangar à bateaux a un balcon sur le lac et est accessible par la porte-fenêtre coulissante. Rien de tel que de s'endormir au son des vagues qui clapotent sur le rivage sous vous et se réveillent à l'appel des huards le matin. A également un foyer au gaz naturel pour ceux qui veulent y dormir en hiver - plafond voûté en pin noueux, planchers de bois franc en bouleau.

Le patio du salon principal donne sur le lac. Des chaises Adirondack et une table de pique-nique bordent le patio autour d'une zone de feu contrôlé pour les feux du soir.

Le hamac est commodément accroché entre deux pins latéraux et est un endroit idéal pour lire, faire une sieste, parler avec votre autre significatif ou avoir des conversations profondes avec vos enfants ou petits-enfants.

Grand espace de stationnement au toit noir pour accueillir la famille et les amis ainsi qu'un panneau de montage monté dans le garage - un ballon de basket est également fourni. Air hockey et fléchettes au sous-sol pour les moments où il pleut.

Perfect family weekend!

We loved our long weekend here! Our favorites were tubing on the pontoon, kiddos playing on the dock, sitting by the fire and roasting smokies and s’mores, grilling dinners, cooking breakfast in the amazing kitchen, drinking coffee in the living room looking at the lake, going for long walks, and just enjoying time with family.

Winter Holiday

Beautiful lakefront home in a classic north woods setting gave our family a place to come together away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We enjoyed the home, playing hockey on the lake and its proximity to wonderful nearby towns. We would recommend the property and hosts and hope to be back again!

Girls Weekend

Very nice, well-stocked with supplies needed, plenty of comfy chairs inside and great sitting areas outside on dock and by firepit. Also, It’s the first time our group of 8 all had beds! Wish we had known we needed to wash bedding before check-out, but it helped that there were 2 sets of washers and dryers.

Mountain Bike and Lake Retreat

Perfect location and cabin for a friends/family mountain bike trip. Ride to all the local trails, bike/coffee shops, restaurants and shopping. End your day on the perfect patio overlooking the lake and watching the ducks, eagles and loons or enjoy a sunset cruise on the pontoon.

Great cabin near downtown and bike trails

My family had a lovely stay at this cabin! The cabin was clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. The patio is a beautiful place to sit and look over the lake and make a fire. We rented the pontoon which made for perfect boating/swimming/tubing days on the lake. We appreciated the location near downtown Crosby and easy biking distance to the Cuyuna trails. We hope to stay here again!

Relaxing cabin week

We rented this cabin for our annual mom/kids cabin week. Location was easy to find. Plenty of parking space, plenty of property space in general. Cabin was clean, boat house was clean. We did not use the boat house it was a little to warm out. Lake was crystal clear and shallow the kids were able to swim way out. We rented the pontoon for a day, which is always a . Cabin was spacious and comfy for all of us. It was well stocked. 4th bedroom in the house is the guest room with pull-out blow up mattress, we were a little confused by this and how the listing reads but it was comfy and worked. We would for sure rent again.

Home on pristine lake

This lake home comfortably slept the 7 of us and included many amenities including a dishwasher and 2 washers and dryers (particluarly appreciated the iphone charger). The highlight of our stay was boating and swimming on the pristine lake. We were in the area for a wedding so would like to return when our time isn't so limited to fully enjoy this property. Of note the stairs to the upper bedrooms are steep and spiral a bit and may be difficult for the very young or very old. couplevofchoursc

Instant Memories!

We treated our son to a lakeside experience here as a high school graduation gift. He brought a friend and they had the time of their lives - they caught a bunch of rock bass and even one smallmouth right off the dock. We had a bonfire every night (with s'mores, duh). The boat was a wonderful way to explore the lake, especially as the sun set on every fun day. It's located close to town (we picked up pizza from Rafferty's one night, and had smoothies at Red Raven) - plus golf courses and Crosby's legendary mountain bike trails. You need to drive or ride a bike to these - a little too far to walk. The home was perfect - it afforded gorgeous lake views. A perfect way to enjoy that morning cup of Joe. Plenty of space and a wonderful kitchen to make meals -- or the grill, if that's your appetite. The owner was incredibly responsive and helpful, too. We hope to stay here again!

Fantastic Cabin on Serpent Lake

We had an awesome weekend at Matt's place on Serpent lake. I've stayed in many rentals, and comparatively this was extremely well stocked with plenty of supplies in the kitchen, garage, boat house, you name it. There was even leftover food and drinks (unopened of course), plenty of seasonings and all of the small incidentals that you seem to forget to pack. We were there for an extended weekend with my family, two nephews (children), and there was plenty of space. My wife and I stayed in the boathouse which was perfect for us to have some privacy and not feel like we were all on-top of each other. The only bonus would've been if there was a bathroom, but it was still great! We were able to rent the pontoon and had an awesome time on the lake. The boathouse was also stocked with plenty of extra floaties, fishing poles, tubes, etc. We had a great time in both Deerwood and Crosby. Everything is only a 5 minute drive and you can also dock the boat in town and walk around. We would highly recommend and will likely be going back! Also, Matt was extremely communicative and responsive. Great host!

Beautiful lakeside home and ideal location

Perfect fit for our family of 6 with the boathouse bedroom overlooking the lake. Stayed there over an October weekend while attending a wedding nearby, and met all of our needs. Beautiful home on lake, although due to cold and wet weather (certainly no fault of our hosts), we were unable to take advantage of the water. However, plenty of potential for fun lakeside and outdoor activities while on vacation or a weekend getaway.

Absolutely lovely!

This has to be one of cleanest and most beautiful properties I've ever been to. Pictures don't do the justice. Property is even more beautiful than on picture. Plenty of space inside cabin and gorgeous outdoors. We used pantoon, went fishing and swimming. Enjoyed firepit and felt very cozy and relaxed. Highly recommend! Matt the owner is a wonderful host and very responsive and pleasant to talk to. We'll definitely be back!

Perfect Father and Sons Fishing Weekend

The trip to the boundary waters was cancelled due to excessive flooding so we were scrambling to find another location for my dad and brothers to go for my dad's 70th birthday trip. We lucked out in finding this property last minute. It perfectly accommodated 6 men and provided ample outdoor enjoyment. Great fishing right off the dock, nightly use of the fire pit, and the pontoon boat made for a fun and relaxing weekend of fishing and father-son memories. Matt was a wonderful host and great to work with. Very communicative and responsive. Our family will absolutely be back!

They have a beautiful home and view!! It was so nice to be able to enjoy the pontoon also! So convenient to have it right there! The only bad thing I can say is that our time there was not long enough!!! I would highly recommend staying there!!!

Beautiful Cabin and Nice Property

This was a beautiful cabin! Very clean and well stocked. We had a group of 11 ages 16 and up. We all fit at the kitchen table. Table was nice for cards and games in the evening. Beautiful view of the lake from both the cabin and the patio. Stairs in the cabin leading to upper bedrooms are quite steep, so our senior parents slept in the master bedroom. My husband caught a 4.25 lb walleye, but large sunfish are scarce. Lots of large mouth and rock bass. Overall, very nice cabin and I would recommend staying here.

We are a pre-retirement couple with 2 kids working and working on a PhD. We live and work in the Rochester MN area. I was born in the Rochester area and met Ann while at college. She was raised in the Lakes area of MN near lake Mille Lacs about 30 miles from our cabin. We are looking forward to retiring in the area and calling it home Vs our get a way place. Until then we are happy to host and share our place with those that also appreciate the quiet and beauty of the lake setting. We truly hope that you enjoy your stay and ask that you call or email with any questions or issue that should arise before or during your stay.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

My wife had been looking for the right place for over a year. - No weeds, no mud, not too many steps to climb up or down when we get old etc. When we drove by my wife recognized it from earlier listings she had seen. It was, for us, the perfect setting and had the potential that we were looking for.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

One of the few places with split field stone retaining walls and foundations. Also the Boathouse is an added plus since you cannot build them anymore, only maintain the ones that already exist. As I have mentioned, it is one of the cleanest lakes you will ever experience. No resorts or supper clubs on the lake make it very quiet. Views of the lake are available from 3 of the 5 sleeping rooms.
