Soleil is immersed in nature. It is a minimalist design with a touch of beach, providing a tranquil and restful environment. Located in the center of San Diego it has quick access to La Jolla beaches/amenities (8 min drive), UCSD campus (10 min drive), and downtown/airport (15 min drive). Recently rebuilt, Soleil has everything you need for intimate gatherings and/or a peaceful work space.
The back yard is open to the canyon with a snake fence installed at bottom of hill. A dog runner cable is available. It is advised that pets and small children be supervised in backyard (four panel sliding doors open to the area).
We thoroughly enjoyed this property and felt right at home. The host was amazing and there were no issues at all in our stay. I would recommend this property to anyone coming to San Diego. Great location too.
What an extraordinary place!Soleil is and accurately described as a mid century modern beach vibe.Patricia was a responsive host and available for our enquiries including 'local' suggestions. The peaceful space was so unique, and we look forward to returning again to the best VRBO we've experienced.
My family and I stayed for the weekend as my sister was getting married in San Diego. The host was extremely responsive, check in and out were seamless, and the house was wonderful. My son (age 5) wanted to move in ;) The kitchen was fully stocked, everything was clean, and the space is airy and light. The entire house has recently been updated, and you can tell a lot of care went into choosing materials and finishes that make it feel spa like. We would definitely return.
The host was fantastic to communicate with and responded quickly to our questions. We hosted a dinner here and the large kitchen was both beautiful and accomodating to chef and guests. Loved the modern appliances. The main room is grande with high ceilings and modern fixtures. The entire house is brand new. Best features: Definately loved the spa like bathrooms with soaker tub. Deluxe quality towels were abundent. Beautiful light comes into every room in the daytime. House was very spacious. The view from the living room was epic with glass doors looking over palm tree canyon lush with plants and a large deck to sit out on. Beds were very comfortable, nice linens. This house is so quiet, you truly forget that you are staying in a city. Spacious, modern fixtures, furnished beautifully, beach vibe for the true San Diego appeal. Wifi was fast to accomodate working while staying here. Cons:We could have used more serving spoons/large utensils for main dishes at our dinner. Suggest leaving out a sign with the WiFi Password, our host sent it at the start of our stay but we missed that and had to ask for it again. Thanks for responding so quickly.
It is a new home that offers quiet simplicity and views of canyon and sunset. The yard is open to the canyon and requires supervision of pets and small children. A snake fence has been installed at bottom of hill and a dog runner available to keep pet in designated area while enjoying the outside space.
