Great location

Away from the all the crowd but still close enough to all the attractions. Great ocean view and loved the private path to the beach! Will definitely come back :)

We love anchorage!!

We’ve came to anchorage about 3 or 4 times now over the years and this stay was as great as the rest. Clean, quiet, comfortable and convenient. The only thing I’ll say was a downfall was the sliding door to the balcony needs some TLC as it was hard to open. Pictured is the view from the balcony.

Myrtle Beach vacation 7/2025

Unit has a nice set up and had a good location. It could have been cleaner, there were crumbs on the counter and behind the toaster which we did not use. The wall behind the garbage can in the kitchen is gross and needs to be scrubbed. We probably would have extended our stay but the people in the unit above us left their kids run wild every morning starting at 6:30, running, stomping, yelling and slamming doors it woke us up every morning.

It was fine.

It was a nice little place but the couches weren't too comfortable. Also, the stove and oven did not work. The place was advertised as if you would be able to use that in the kitchen, but we ended up having to use an old electric skillet they had in the pantry. Otherwise, things were decent.

We have had guest in after you and the owners are in now. Neither have reported any issues with the stove. Please know if you need anything during your stay to call us. Nice Place

While condo didn't feel as nice as pictures and description showed (9.0 wonderful), I would stay here again. It smelled a bit of smoke (air fresheners were placed throughout to cover up the smells - I had to put them in drawers because they were strong), trashcan smelled of fish (didn't notice until we removed the trash bag day 2), and it was a bit damp (had to take batteries out of smoke detectors because they kept chirping - we were told it was probably the moisture). I say all of this not because it was a horrible experience but because I use reviews to determine where I stay. I had several places that were 7's and 8's, that were less expensive, that looked as nice, and that had more amenities, but I made my choice for this unit based on the reviews giving it a 9/wonderful. However, communication with property manager was great! I would give it (7+ = good+).

We are not walkingt he builidng and each floor daily but do have staff on hand every day to assist with nusience and things such as this. When sitting on the furniture in living room your view was the wall from the other condo . No the ocean .

Unsure how we would arrange the living room furniture to show more of a ocean view. Every condo is set up like this. The love seat directly faces the ocean and there is not another way to put a sofa in the living room other than where it is at. Perhaps it is the location of the condo you didn't prefer and not so much the layout of the furniture? Perhaps next stay we can speak with you directly and suggest another unit to suit you needs. Great location but....

This rental was exactly as it was portrayed online! The view was spectacular and the pool and beach were perfect distance away from our front door. The only big issue we had was the walls and floors are very thin. Since we were near the steps the could hear everyone! On the fourth night a family with kids moved in above us and it sounded like they were having a parade every day from 6am until 930pm. Also it was rather hot in the rooms when it came time to sleep. Over all the place was great! Next time I might try to shoot for a top floor rental.

Unable to to sleep on pull out sofa, mattress within needs to be replaced.One person had to sleep on sofa itself another child had to sleep with parents.Could not sit on all of the dining chairs some had stains. (Easy to remedy with Fantastic). The carpet needs to be replaced and bathrooms upgraded. Janitorial staff needs to vacuum. thoroughly . There was a strange item under the bed.Looked like a dead mouse. I have stayed at several other Anchorage Units with no complaints. The Property and pool were well maintained as usual. Property looked great. Always recommend this property. Looking forward to my next visit in another unit. Thank You Anchorage ! Had fun.

Good location and near a great part of the beach. Property could do with a few upgrades: dishwasher door is dangerous and falls to the floor; plates, pots, silverware etc. are all different; aircon stopped working on the last night with no response from the property manager…decent enough but probably would not stay there again

Our 1st Anchorage stay - June 2021

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental and the Anchorage condos were exactly what we were hoping for! Our family of 5, 2 adults and 3 children had all that we needed with sufficient space and kitchenware for cooking meals. The complex is a few miles from all the “busy-ness” of downtown Myrtle Beach but still a very easy 5-10 minute drive to all the attractions we were interested in. Anchorage was overall very well-kept, clean, quiet, and family-friendly. Our unit was very clean and an easy walk up stairs to the second floor with an elevator an easy walk along the outdoor corridor for hauling luggage at check-in/out. The main attraction, of course was the beach. Extremely clean and quiet as well with a lifeguard posted. Cross the (not busy) street and you’re on the boardwalk. There are 2 nice gazebos & a place to rinse the sand off. There’s also a playground a minute’s walk down the side-walk. We LOVED the balcony and the VIEW from the balcony. We loved watching and listening to the surf as we sat outside chatting. We do with there would have been more seats outside, but there were 2 chairs for us to sit and enjoy the view. Without a doubt, we plan to stay here again on our next trip to MB!

Great convenient location Clean unit; nice pool; easy access to beach. My only critique would be to leave instructions as to what the mysterious key hanging on bulletin board is for (garbage compactor). Also there was no covers on the pillows, just the pillowcase.

Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We decided to visit Myrtle Beach and after looking around at various places to rent we finally settled on Anchorage II. We had five adults in our group. The condominium was clean and well maintained. Our walk to the beach each day was easy. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and well maintained. Check in and check out was simple. We had a second level unit, and the people upstairs had pre-teen children who we could hear jumping and running, but after 9pm they would quiet down. We took some time to enjoy the local restaurants and adult beverage centers which were all within a couple of miles and easily walked, driven, or cheaply transported via Uber.

Anchorage II Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family has been coming to the Anchorage II for over 30 years now bi-annually for family reunions. We have seen a lot of changes in this complex over the years. Most of the unit kitchens are nice but sparsely equipped. The furniture is not overly comfortable but for a weeks stay we deal with it. The complex is getting older, worn out looking, but I noticed on this recent stay they are trying to upgrade the outside siding. The pool is wonderful except for the "table hogs" who go down as soon as the person is done cleaning to put their things there so they can have the table for the whole day. Its a nice short walk to the beach which has the warmest water I have experienced anywhere. Overall, we had a good time. There is never a limit to what you can do in Myrtle Beach.
