Beach front vacation

Clean and newly remodeled with great view of ocean. Bring everyday kitchen supplies because you will run out. Everybody on the grounds was friendly and helpful, especially the guard at gate. John was great!! Helped us in a pinch:)

Beautiful condo

The condo was well stocked in the kitchen but could have had more bath towels. Sadly we were limited due to the Red Tide. When I called Resort Rentals and asked about the RT I wish they would have been more forthcoming about it.

Not So Clean Beautiful Condo...

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we checked in, we were greeted by very DUSTY floor and tables. This is the same review given by others few months back and nothing had changed. The condo itself is beautiful, location is great, and the beach was not over crowded. There are many places to eat and to see around.

The condo is full of updates, all of which make a substantial difference. The floors are beautiful, waterproof, and easy to clean. The decor is clean and the condo is spacious. Excellent location, oceanfront, two minute walk to the pool. Fantastic!

I have never provided a bad review of any hotel, restaurant or business before however due to the management company and the owner not responding nor acting to make the unit safe or habitable, this review seems necessary. The unit had a moldy washing machine, the sink drain was disconnected and the dishwasher got soapy water all over the unit and there were poisonous caterpillars in the unit for multiple days as well as the occasional cockroach.The management company took 5 days to get a plumber on site to fix the drain. The management company took 10 days to get the washing machine fixed.Ownership did not approve of repairs in a timely manner which lead to the long repair times, the property management company did not communicate or express interest in keeping us informed and in their own words "dropped the ball". We had to leave the unit prior to the end of our reservation and find somewhere else to stay. The photos of the mold are after they attempted to "clean" the mold.

Beautiful Condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was beautiful. It was very clean and fully stocked. Check-in was very easy and we had no issues at all. The complex is very well maintained and the security is rather strict at the pool. There is sand volleyball courts, tennis and shuffleboard, ping pong. No need to bring rackets, they are provided. Very nice, quiet location. All positive. Only slight negative for me was the mattress in the master. My back still hurts. However, my husband had absolutely no problem with it.

Excellent Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I booked this condo going off of location and pictures. The condo is up to date with all appliances (except, it has an old fashion coffee maker and not a Keurig ), decor, etc. The condo was beautiful and would hold a family of 7 comfortably. The view of the sunset was beautiful. The beach is a 5 minute walk and you can not see the beach from the balcony due to the Habitat area. The walking path out to the beach was very nice. The beach was very enjoyable, pretty white sand and the Gulf was clear enough to see through it and warm enough to enjoy it. Overall, it was a great stay and we will definitely be back. The only recommendation, would be to rent a car if you fly. We ventured to the public beach and the state park. The vehicle we rented was one of our best decisions.

Good location and beautiful beach. Condo lacking

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was nicely updated and the beach was beautiful, however, the condo was very dirty. Dishwasher was full of dirty dishes. The floors looked and felt like they had not been cleaned in a few months. Everything was very dusty. There was black slime coming out of the bathroom faucet. After reading several other reviews, it seems like resort rentals may need to hire a new cleaning crew seeing how this is a common view. The mattresses were horrible. Desperately needing replaced. The grounds were beautiful. People were nice!

Beautiful Unit, but...

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to Land's End for years and this is our first time in this unit. The unit itself is beautiful. Totally renovated, keyless entry, and better equipped than most. The owners have done a fantastic job! However, the cleanliness of the unit was terrible. The floors looked as if they have NEVER been mopped. If you like to go barefooted, your feet will be black after walking on these floors. There were numerous areas of dried/caked on something (?) on the floors. Dust bunnies around furniture and under the bed (I dropped something and saw this, don't usually inspect under the beds). This also happened last year with another unit. That unit was so poorly cleaned, we had housekeeping come back and do it again. I am always charged a cleaning fee, how about they earn that pay? I did speak with someone at Resort Rentals to voice my concerns after my return home. I was advised my concerns would be sent up the chain of command. The lady I spoke to also stressed I should have called to have them come re-clean the unit. Maybe I should have, but it was Memorial Day weekend, so no one would be in until Tuesday, and honestly I didn't want to deal with it. NOTE: The cleanliness review only applies to the unit. The grounds were well kept as always. Additionally, I have never had any issues with Resorts Rentals. They have always been friendly and helpful. I think maybe it's time Resort Rentals hired a new cleaning crew.

Sunset Beach Vacation July 2022

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were a party of 2 that rented Land's End, Building 8, unit 204. The unit itself is very nicely updated - we loved the beachy colors, hardwood floors, faux(?) shiplap, and decor. Bathrooms were nicely updated as well. In general, the kitchen was well-equipped, although we noticed some utensils and cooking tools had sticky stuff or rust on them and needed to be extra cleaned. We took note there was really only one serrated knife in the entire kitchen, which presented a bit of an issue on nights where we ate in. Other knives in the unit were paring knives that had rust on them. We would suggest updating some of the silverware. In addition, the mattress on the king bed in the master bedroom is in dire need of replacement... prior to sleeping in it, we could see indents on either side of the bed where individuals slept. We sunk into these when we slept (was not very comfortable). I cannot speak to the beds in the second room - we did not use those. We did also take note that the drawers in the master bath cabinets and master bed bureau were dirty (i.e. hair, dirt, etc) in them when we opened them. As a result, we did not use any of the drawers in the master bath to store our items. A suggestion to the cleaning staff to vacuum these out in between guests. We had some large ants come in, especially in the master bedroom. However it was clear the unit had been treated for pests... these ants never made it too far into the room before dying. Overall, this was a nice unit to stay in for a relaxing week-long trip to the beach. We've been coming to Land's End for many years (have stayed in many units) and this one was one of the more nicer ones. I only wish it was on a higher floor so that we could better see the ocean!

We were near everything and the property was nice and clean. We spent hours sitting on the beach because of the beautiful view.
