La plate-forme de cette chambre 2/2 propriété de bain donne sur Robb terrain avec espace ouvert et des terrains de sport. Derrière c'est la rivière San Diego avec une piste cyclable qui relie les pistes cyclables qui parcourent le comté de San Diego. Ocean Beach a été décrit comme le lieu où le soleil se couche sur San Diego, et les couchers de soleil sont phénoménaux. Il est situé dans la région côtière de San Diego avec un accès facile à la fois par l'Interstate 5 et 8.

Notre maison est située au nord de Ocean Beach, une petite communauté balnéaire de San Diego. C'est l'un des endroits les plus détendus de toute la Californie du Sud. C'est un endroit cool et branché qui. OB, comme on l'appelle, est très décontracté et a reçu le certificat d'excellence 2015 de TripAdvisor. Il est une communauté autonome avec d'excellents restaurants, des marchés, des magasins, des bars et la bière artisanale. Il abrite la plus longue jetée en béton sur la côte ouest, où la pêche est légale sans licence.

Voltaire Street est à deux rues de notre maison et la maison à plusieurs dépanneurs, bars et restaurants. Newport avenue, le quartier d'affaires Main Street est à quelques pas, en fait, vous pouvez vous promener le long de la plage pour y arriver.

Dans les 2 blocs, il y a une maison de nouilles, bistro, magasin de sandwich, une pizza et boulangerie Il y a aussi trois restaurants dans le coin inférieur à un pâté de maisons.

Il y a une piste cyclable qui longe la rivière San Diego et Mission Bay. C'est possible au centre-ville de San Diego. Si vous vous sentez aventureux, vous pouvez faire le tour de la baie de San Diego sur la piste cyclable de Big Bay ou vous rendre à Oceanside le long de la Coast Highway.

La cuisine a de nombreux appareils pratiques, y compris un cuisinart, un mixeur et une mijoteuse.

Le pont a un planeur, un canapé et un bain à remous. Vous pouvez voir les feux d'artifice Sea World à partir du bain à remous. S'il vous plaît noter que les enfants de moins de 6 ne sont pas autorisés dans le spa.

Il y a aussi un vaste espace commun qui comprend un monnayeur buanderie. Là, vous pouvez rencontrer mes locataires amicales à long terme des trois autres unités. Cette zone est clôturée avec une porte qui ouvre sur le chemin du parc et le vélo de sorte que vous ne devez prendre votre chien le long de la rue que vous allez à la plage ensemble.

Our second stay here in Ocean Beach

This is our second stay at Chris’s place. It is a great value for a 2 bedroom with private hot tub in Ocean Beach which has a unique old time hippie beach vibe which we enjoy even as retirees. We had daily walks to the dog beach, weather permitting, to let our pup enjoy his best life while we took in sunsets over the ocean.

Very comfortable place in great location. We loved walking to Dog Beach from the bungalow. Amenities we especially appreciated: RO water purifier; stainless steel pressure cooker; immersion blender; space to put bikes inside; nice off street parking; private outdoor patio area; attentive host; on site washers and drier (bring quarters); quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors; close to OB Coop.

Great Stay

This is a great place in Ocean Beach, walking distance to most things you could want. I went every day to the dog beach with my dog. Walking to the main strip takes about 15 min. The patio is great and the neighbors are nice. I’d stay again.

Location, location, location.

This property has location as its primary amenity. It is close to everything OB has to offer. You can walk everywhere in 15 minutes or less. It is a terrific for a short term stay, but for longer stays the property needs some updates to furniture, cooking utensils, beds, and the removal of a lot of clutter that just takes up space without offering any benefit. We enjoyed our stay, but for as long as we stay, a bit more usable space would be beneficial.

Great location and accommodations

Perfect location next to dog beach and soccer fields where our grandsons play. Nice for walks/bike rides along the river and beach. This bungalow has a very well equipped kitchen with an RO water purifier, stainless steel pressure cooker, immersion blender, nice knives, food processor, popcorn machine and many more useful items. The on site laundry is very handy... bring quarters. Very nice private outdoor covered patio area. One caution if you are handicapped... the queen bed is quite high... not a problem for my husband or I (69 years old) but 6+" higher than regular bed. Chris fixed the toilet and leaky window immediately when we brought them to his attention. He was always very helpful and responsive.

Great Stay!

We enjoyed our stay in this peaceful bungalow. My adult son and I stayed here while he took a month long academic course. It was a perfect space and our small dog loved it. As soon as we walked in we felt like we chose the perfect home away from home. The unit is tucked away in the laid back Ocean Beach neighborhood. We felt very safe and comfortable even out walking the dog at night. There are beautiful play fields and beaches outside your door. Many trails you can enjoy and lots of restaurants within walking distance. The place is very complete with everything you need even a designated parking space right in front. Our hosts were very welcoming and kind. We would visit again.

Fantastic property

We stayed at this property for five weeks after selling our house and it was great! Everything we could possibly need was at the house. The bed in the master bedroom is incredibly comfortable! I broke my wrist during the stay (totally unrelated to the house!) and we had to order take-out frequently because cooking was difficult one handed (note: EVERYTHING you need is in the kitchen if you do cook). There are endless options for places to eat within waking distance and they're all good. The beach is really close, but you're never disturbed by beach traffic. The house backs up to a public space, so there are people in the park, but it was never obnoxious. My family of three enjoyed our stay immensely and hope to rent again next year when we're back in southern California. In fact, when he walked into the house the first time, my seven year old son exclaimed, "This place is awesome!" and he now laments that he misses OB.

Great Beach Bungalow

Great place to stay very near Dog Beach in Ocean Beach. Walking distance to all the hot spots in town. Easy access to 8 and 5 freeways.

A True Gem

If you love being close enough to walk to the beach daily, this is the place. If you travel with your 4 legged best friend and include him in activities, this is the place. If you enjoy cooking, this place has the perfect kitchen for it. If you're craving cozy and comfortable, this is the place. We made sure to book it for a return stay next summer before we left, because this is 'the place'!

Funky Gem in North Ocean Beach

So many things to love about this rental. First off - location. The front door faces the green expanse of Robb Field, and it's just a few minutes walk to the bike path that edges the estuary on the San Diego River and Dog Beach. Plus, all that OB has to offer is within walking distance or at the most a short drive. The apartment is comfortable and homey, with all the amenities, as well as a deck with a swing that got a lot of use while I was there. And if you have a well behaved dog, like I do, it's perfect for your pup - beach walks and playtime with other dogs were a daily activity for us. Lastly, the owners are fantastic. Lovely, accommodating people made my stay even nicer. Highly recommended.

Relaxation and holiday fun!

Perfect location in OB if you are a beach lover and dog owner! The house was perfect and had plenty of amenities. The house is cozy and has everything you need. There is a great kitchen if you love to cook. A full library of great books, music and movies - something for everyone! You are a short walk to the bike path that leads to the dog beach - which is awesome!! Best dog in beach in Cali. There is one parking space which is important in that area - but you don't have to drive to get to anything. You are near great coffee shops, restaurants and everything you need. Super nice owner, property manager and neighbors - We loved it and can't wait to go back!

Best family vacation ever!

Great location, great value! We loved the house. We love OB and we will be back. Plenty of things in the area, great food scene, and the dog friendliness was refreshing. House is comfortable, slept the 6 of us very comfortably. We had such a blast at the beach (literally a 2 minute walk!) that we didn't make use of the spa, regretting that now! Plenty of towels and cleaning supplies. My kids loved the movie and music library. Close to Sea World, easy day trip to Legoland. Thank you so much!

Family Fun in Ocean Beach

Our stay was delightful. Pat's hospitality is wonderful. The bungalow was a perfect place to stay with our three almost adult children and two dogs. Pat went above and beyond with her hospitality, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The internet was reliable so the teens were happy. My dog and I enjoyed daily walks along the river to play at the dog beach. There are several great restaurants within walking distance along the beach. We were in San Diego for a family reunion and the quick access to I-8 made it easy to get to all the events. The bungalow was perfect to host lunch and an afternoon at the beach for the family. I recommend this property to friends and family traveling with children and/or pets.

Great beach stay!

Spent a fun, relaxing week here last week! Everything in the house was clean and just what was needed for a comfortable beach experience. We booked this location because we travel with our dog. Out the back gate is a grassy baseball diamond, fenced so he could run there, or we could throw a ball around. Took the adjacent bike/walking trail to Dog Beach about a block away! So awesome! We could relax on the deck, which has plants for privacy. Hot tub looks new, and is serviced weekly. Dog dishes and shampoo. Really nice linens, towels, fluffy throw rugs. I loved the queen bed. TV had many channels. Kitchen was well-stocked with everything I needed for cooking. Very short walk to beach, pier, restaurants. Comes with an assigned parking space too! Owner and manager were VERY kind. Saw a neighbor only once in a week! Very quiet except for some airplane noise. This is the only reason why I couldn't give this comfortable home a 5 star rating.

Meets Basic Needs

We have spent the past 12 summers in either Mission Beach or Ocean Beach and this was the first time we were a bit disappointed. This house is clean and has the basic needs but if you are renting keep in mind it does not come with bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas or beach toys as almost all the others do. I over looked this and must say it made a difference for our stay. The house also does not have a dishwasher and although it has a washer and dryer they are coin operated which I did not know. The back patio is directly next to a large athletic park which we thought would be great, however it is very loud when you have a 100 kids out there playing soccer. A huge disappointment for us was the TV, nice large HD TV that only gets 4 stations no cable, we watched a lot of news. For us this house was missing more than it offered.

Awesome stay! Everything you need for a great vacation

The house was in perfect condition when we arrived. There were even fresh flowers waiting! Plenty of towels and everything else that we might have forgotten to bring. We used the hot tub every night, great after a long day at the beach. Couldn't have asked for a better place for the weekend!
