Welcome to Wind Drift 103E, your peaceful Gulf-front retreat in the heart of Orange Beach! Located on the 2nd floor of the East Tower, this spacious 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo offers stunning beach views and easy access to sand and surf. Whether you’re enjoying morning coffee on the balcony or relaxing in the open-concept living area, this condo is the perfect home base for your next beach vacation.

The fully equipped kitchen features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a wet bar, ideal for preparing fresh seafood meals or mixing up evening cocktails. The inviting living room offers a flat-screen TV, Blu-Ray player, and Queen sofa sleeper. Stay connected with free Wi-Fi and enjoy the comfort of tile floors throughout. A washer and dryer are also included for added convenience.

The primary suite features a plush king bed, flat-screen TV, balcony access, and a private bathroom. The guest bedroom includes a queen bed and a twin bed, plus its own flat-screen TV, making it great for families or friends traveling together.

Construction Notice:
This unit is currently offered at a discounted rate due to construction throughout the complex and on unit balconies. Work on the A Building (where this unit is located) began in April 2024. From June–August, painting will take place on vertical surfaces.

Parking:
Each unit is allowed two vehicles. Parking passes are $62.50 each and valid for up to 7 days. Vehicles must be registered to avoid towing. RVs, trailers, and watercraft are not permitted.

Minimum Age Requirement:
You must be 25 years or older to rent this property.

It was a great place to stay, the beach is so close and you can hear the waves. I would suggest maybe a detachable shower head so it’s easier to bath kids.

Wonderful Getaway

We were highly impressed with this property and thoroughly enjoyed our stay as a young couple with two young children. It was immaculately clean, very spacious and perfectly located. The heated pool and outdoor amenities were an awesome addition during a windy Spring Break at the beach. We really hope to come back soon!

Very pleased. Everything as advertised. Could have been a bit cleaner like ceiling fans, air vents and baseboards. Would definitely stay again. Great location to beach.

We will be back!!

We loved the property. The location was perfect and it being on the 1st floor was so convenient with a toddler and we were right by the pool and the walkway to the beach. The condo was really nice! We will probably rent this exact room again when we go back.

Fabulous rental!

We had a lovely vacation here in an excellent location. My sons said it was one of the nicest places we stayed. I cooked almost every meal and had every thing we needed to do so! We ate every meal on the balcony, enjoyed the pool and grills downstairs. The beach was not busy, even the beach attendants were very friendly. The beds were so comfy. Even played some games that were there. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back!!

Spring Break 2024

Property was a great location, easy walk out to the beach, and layout fit our family of 3 adults and 3 kids well. There was a vacuum to help keep the sand contained and plenty of towels available. The only two negatives were lack of pillow cases and extra blankets, and a very small hot water heater. Nothing we weren’t able to navigate, but I would’ve brought a few extra pillow cases or a blanket to layer with had I known.

We had a couple of problems that were addressed quickly. The young man who came was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. The only problem we were aware of that needs to be fixed is that almost all of the electrcal outlets had only one plug that worked. That was inconvenient.

Few suggestions

Light in passageway shines directly into 2nd bedroom window at night. Would suggest room darkening curtains or something similar. Didn’t get good night sleep because it looked like morning outside. Couch appeared quite dirty & could use a good cleaning as well as the rug under the coffee table. Recliners made awful noises when you recline & try to get up. Mattresses were excellent! One arm on deck chair was broken & hanging. Kitchen was well appointed. Overall was a good stay.

Best location!

This is the perfect condo. It was very quiet, right on the beach, easy to get in and out of, and close to many things. The condo was exactly as described. My family of seven felt very comfortable. We enjoyed seeing dolphins playing in the water as we sat at the dining table. The view is amazing. We only had two small problems when we arrived. First, the internet password didn't work, so someone had to come troubleshoot for us, but it was done within an hour. Second, we had seven people and not enough washcloths for everyone. Management said their linen company hasn't been able to provide what they used to, so we had to make due with what was given. Overall, everything was perfect! We would definitely come back to stay here if we came back to Alabama!

Nasty condo

Wind Drift 103. The view was amazing. We actually stayed at this same condo in 2019 and had no issues. It must be managed by someone different. Both the guest and master toilets had fecal matter on the seats and caked in the toilet bowl of the master bathroom. There was a tampon wrapper on the floor by the toilet. Toothpaste was on the mirror and sink fixtures in the master. Crumbs were on the kitchen table and floor. Sand was all over the coffee table. I notified management immediately. They said "the entire property" would be re-cleaned and to move my stuff to one side out of their way. The person they sent arrived and said he was only told to clean the toilets and didn't bring all the cleaning supplies. I was charged a cleaning fee to arrive at a nasty condo. There were also two condoms in the nightstand drawer. If the place had been clean upon arrival, I would not have had any complaints. If the person they sent, had actually re-cleaned the place like I was told I would not have even wrote this review.

Great location. But…..

I wish I could give a better rating. Location was great. Very clean.That first night I went to lock the patio door and it would not lock. It’s a first floor unit, not on the ground but someone could climb up to it. Next day Reported it to the host and got directed to the property manager. What a mess. Received a text they would address it and would keep me posted. They did not. We came back from the beach to find a repairman there with no notice. He left. I messaged to say hey can you please give a heads up and the status? I’m told by text that they’re sorry and they will let us know the status. That was Sunday. Monday a repairman came- AGAIN no notice. Nice guy though. He can’t fix it says whole door might need replaced. He leaves. Nothing from Liquid life after that. I call them Tuesday- they tell me they are sorry- the owner has to give permission to fix it. They ask if I’ve been getting updates on the ticket. I tell them other than the initial text confirming they got my report- no. They assure me they will check into it and find out the status of the maintenance order. I never heard from them. So the door never got fixed. Not so much an issue since we have teenagers and they know not to go climb off a balcony. But for families with small children, very concerning. Also the fuses kept tripping during the stay. And so you know I’m not unreasonable- I broke the coffee pot and we replaced it with a new one. Disappointed we had to chase this all week, It was stressful

Condo was great, communication was not

Booking through vrbo, I did not expect third party emails telling me how to access the rental. You have to purchase a $62 guest permit because it was in a gated lot. We only got in the first time bc someone used their code for us to enter. There were three Wind Drift towers, and we weren’t told which one we were actually in, just Wind Drift and a room number. Once we were in, room entry was fine and I find an obscure link in an email about purchasing the gate code and parking permit. We talk to another couple on the beach that also had trouble purchasing bc the site kept refreshing. I had to text to ask for wifi password bc there was no information posted inside the condo. Other complaints were the guest bedroom has wooden shutters for window coverings and a bright night light right outside, we had to use a blanket to cover it. The twin bed is SUPER squeaky, and only 4 towels per bathroom and no blow dryer.

Great Time

This was a wonderful property with everything we needed nearby. There was good communication from the staff wanting to know how we liked the condo. My only complaint is that the beds were so high that I had trouble getting in and out. I needed a small step stool. Would definitely stay there again.
