Lovely place for a long weekend getaway. Very comfortable setting. Well stocked kitchen with every pan/utensil you might need. Had several guests with "old knees" and entry steps are a challenge.

The cabin was really nice and comfortable. Amenities were good. The property was super quiet and peaceful. The deck was where we spent most of our time. Lot of birds which like to be fed and were fun to watch. The view is slightly obstructed by trees but you can still see some of the mountains. It is not a full view of the mountains because the property is in a wooded acreage neighborhood. Everything else was nice. Cell service is non-existent. All communications are made through the Wi-Fi.

Thank you for the thoughtful review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the comfortable cabin, peaceful setting, and time spent relaxing on the deck. It sounds like the birds provided some wonderful entertainment during your stay as well! We also appreciate you sharing your feedback about the mountain views and cell service. The wooded setting does create a more peaceful, secluded atmosphere, while the Wi-Fi allows guests to stay connected even with limited cell service. Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope to welcome you back for another relaxing getaway!

Very spacious cabin. Had plenty of room with the double living rooms and the huge deck overlooking the mountains with plenty of seating. Lots of wildlife around including bats at night and lots of hummingbirds, elk and couple of moose. This is now my favorite place to stay in Colorado. All major areas are within couple of hours driving so were able to visit all the major tourists areas as a day trip.

Great beds, and linens, very clean! Hosts provided all the basic supplies. House is remote, buy your groceries before you come. About halfway between Denver and Brekenridge, it’s a long drive to anything - but you will enjoy privacy, great views and dark skies.
