Breathtaking Views! This gorgeous custom log home has so much to offer! Mountain views including Mount Sherman and Mount Sheridan from the wrap-around deck as well as from the many windows in the home! Three bedrooms including a main floor master suite! Open floor-plan in kitchen, dining and family room! The family room boasts a floor to ceiling stone fireplace to keep you warm along with the radiant flooring! Upstairs has two bedrooms, a full bath and additional space in the loft which also has large windows to enjoy the views! Great space for your family and of course your dogs are welcome with an additional pet fee. Located on 2 acres. A beautiful piece of mountain paradise! 5 star reviews on other platforms.

Please note that we are at 10,300 ft altitude. Please take care of yourself and make sure you are equipped to handle this altitude. You will need 4WD to access this property for most of the fall and spring and all of the winter. Roads can periodically close in the area in the winter. Please pay close attention around your trip and plan accordingly.

This home is pet-friendly, but you must alert us if you're bringing a pet. We charge a $50 pet fee per trip. If you have allergies, you're probably better off staying at another property. We do have the best cleaning crew around, but use your best judgement.

You MUST be at least 25 years of age to book with us.

Please note, due to our extreme fire danger, the fireplace will be locked off and not accessible in the summer/early fall during our highest fire risk.

ABSOLUTELY NO FIRES ANYWHERE ON THE PROPERTY. ANY SMOKING OR OPEN FIRES WILL RESULT IN A $500 FINE!

Awesome cabin and location

Remarkable place, both inside and out. Check-in was super easy and everything we needed was in the cabin. Strong internet - one of our party needed to work remote while we were there and had no issues. ~50 Mbps.

Great cabin, amazing views!

Everything about our stay was exactly what we hoped. Spacious cabin, phenomenal deck, attention to detail, all the amenities, and great communication. This cabin is perfectly situated between Breckinridge and Bueno Vista (Collegiate Peaks) with all the mountains, creeks, and hiking you could ask for. Fairplay is a quick 5 min drive away with some good restaurant options and the kindest people. The views off the deck are breathtaking and we will definitely stay here again.

We Can't Wait to go Back!

We had a great experience in the cabin. Danae was very informative and was very quick to respond. We arrived in Fairplay earlier than expected (about 1.5 hours before check-in) but Danae let us head on in. The house is filled with every amenity you could need, with thoughtful little touches throughout the home. We loved our stay and will hopefully be back soon! Thank you for a great weekend away.

Outstanding Cabin/Home

The property was exceptional and down to every little detail we like. To start off, the cabin was up in the woods and away from the hustle, but close enough to run 6min into town for groceries, restaurants and a little bit of shopping. The beds were very comfortable, with a ton of extra pillows and blankets. They had everything you needed to cook, clean, do laundry, start a fire and plenty of fresh towels with all the bathroom necessities. The drive up and down to the cabin from town we were able to see a moose, mule deer and elk. The view was better than we could imagine and the deck wrapped around to create awesome view points. We walked down the hill to the woods with the kids, played games in the upstairs play area. We would 100 come back and stay here.

Marvelous Mountain Home

We loved our stay at Quarry Road Cabin, a wonderful place to call home away from home. The house was very clean and well thought out, we wanted for nothing. The mountain and sky views from the main floor living space and loft area are like ever changing pieces of art, always something beautiful to see rain or shine. The wrap around deck is a great spot to begin or end the day, so peaceful!!! An added bonus was spotting one of the neighborhood bears! Would most definitely stay again!!! Thanks Danae!

Middle of the Colorado Rockies

Fairplay Colorado allowed our young adults, teen, friends, and Newfies to check out hiking, rafting the Arkansas, swim the hot springs, zipline, photograph amazing views, and chill. There were ton more options that will bring us back. We enjoyed really good food choices & fine dining at the Salado restaurant. We have stayed at over 15 vacation homes & this was rated by the family as the “best ever”. The deck served up great views, vibes, and evening together time.

Perfect home away from home!

I brought my dad to this cabin as a surprise for his birthday! This cabin was exactly what I was hoping for! The most beautiful views I have seen in my life. Full view of the whole mountain range! The pictures don't do the cabin justice! The host has thought of everything one might need to make this cabin a home! The host was quick to communicate, friendly and efficient. The beds were soft and cozy. Everything was clean and well thought out. It even snowed over a foot while we were there in October making everything even more beautiful! We enjoyed our stay so much we didn't want to leave! We will be back soon!! I would recommend this cabin to everyone. I will note, the host is correct about the elevation, luckly our sickness was mild and only lasted 8 or so hours. And you definitely need a suv with 4wheel drive even at the end of October!

This was an amazing getaway stay. Walking into the house automatically felt calming! The check in and out processes were straight forward and all information was provided well ahead of time. We took advantage of the back deck as much as we could with the views and the light breeze it was perfect August weather. The kitchen is fully stocked with many pots, pans, utensils, you name it! We will definitely be back!

This was our 3rd year in a row staying here. The view from the back balcony never gets old. It is Breathtaking. The house is alway immaculate.

Welcome to our home! We are Danae and Nathan and are both Colorado natives. Our house in Fairplay is a long term dream that we have had for at least a decade! We were so lucky to have found our place and are glad to share it with others. I am a homeschool mom for our two daughters and my husband is a computer engineer. We have 5 dogs and are always grateful to have a place where we can travel with them. We are happy to provide the same convenience to other families. We have been hosting guests at our Georgetown house since 2016 and were finally able to buy this place at the end of 2020. We are excited to have another property to offer with the same level of commitment to quality as we have at our other home.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

When we saw this house we fell in love with the views. Also, on 2 acres we feel the peacefulness of being away from our busy life. But being only 2 miles to town, we are also close to restaurants and the grocery store so we have easy access to some of the conveniences we are used to. The inside of the house is so inviting and comfortable. We love just being with the family and watching the snowstorms or sunsets from inside. Comfy beds and great conversation in a fully stocked kitchen makes this our home away from home.
