Oh my goodness words can’t possibly describe how much fun we had! I spent 20 years of my career working in hospitality, and this home provides all the hospitable feels of home and so much more! I think one of our favorite joys were all of the different vessels to choose from! Kayaks/paddle boards that provide opportunities for two, one or even small kids. Absolutely everything was thought of in this home! We can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful getaway

This home was everything we expected and more! From the moment we arrived, it felt like the perfect getaway. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing and fun-filled stay — from kayaks and paddle boards to cornhole for some friendly competition.We absolutely loved the Margaritaville theme throughout the home; it added such a fun, laid-back vibe to our trip. But the real highlight was the direct access to the river — it truly doesn’t get better than that. Whether we were paddling out at sunrise or just soaking in the peaceful views, it made our stay unforgettable.We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation spot!

Perfect vacation home! This is our 2nd stay at the yellow house, have stayed at the pink one many times as well. Out of all the many vacation homes i have to say Tonya and Toby do it right! So many thoughtful details and it is truly a luxurious home, 5 star bedding, spa like master shower, delightful kitchen with lovely views. Everytime we go we just fall more in love with this magical river. Saw tons of manatees and river dolphins, a natural paradise for sure. Paddle boarding, kayaking, and swimming in the river, there is even a very fun swing just up a few houses. Looking forward to the next time!

Wonderful visit!

This house is lovely and very well appointed with anything you might need. It was perfect for our group of six. We spent most of our time sitting by the river and watching all the activity going by. We also made good use of the kayaks and paddle boards that are provided. Highly recommend taking advantage of the put-in at Weeki Wachee state park and paddling the 6 miles back to the house. It's magical.

The bright yellow margaritaville vacation home was above our expectations. We got a lot of use of the screened in room, the kitchen was well stocked, and beds comfortable. We spent most our time watching the manatees swimming past. Neighbor Sue shared her knowledge of the river with us. All the stars!!!

Christmas Getaway!

We had an incredible stay on the Weeki Wachee River, just a short 5-minute kayak trip to the famous Hospital Hole where we got to see manatees up close! The host went above and beyond to make our visit truly special, decorating the house beautifully for Christmas with a tree, festive lights, and even leaving a thoughtful card and gift. The house itself was immaculate and stocked with absolutely everything we could have needed—it was the perfect combination of comfort and convenience. This cozy retreat was ideal for a relaxing getaway, and the serene river setting made it unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Amazing home in an amazing place!

I visited with two friends for a birthday getaway and we were all so impressed with this home. The attention to detail and care that went into this property is so evident. The hosts were very responsive from the beginning. The home is spotlessly clean. The beds are comfortable, the sheets are high quality. The decor is so fun and cohesive. Everything you could need is available, from kitchen supplies to kayaks and a padddleboard. The location is just perfect, close to everything but still so quiet and peaceful. The river was beautiful, we saw so many manatees. We did not want to leave and cannot wait to go back!

We are local Floridians who treasure the nature coast. Our dream was to build a home next to a beautiful Florida river. We are amazed at the gorgeous views of sea life and sunsets every time we stay there. We are excited to share our dream with you! We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We are walking distance to a wonderful waterfront restaurant, Upper Deck, and Roger's Park. Some of our favorite local hangouts are Bayport Inn, Tropical Grille, Silver Dolphin, and Drunken Mullet. It's only a short boat ride to the Gulf and Hospital Hole is right around the bend up river. It's a perfect location to enjoy the best that the nature coast has to offer!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We love the architecture in Key West and decided to bring this flair to the river. We lost our favorite musician, Jimmy Buffett, in Sept 2023, the same day we purchased the lot to build. It was only fitting to keep his memory alive in the style and art work in our river home. We added a Tiki Bar, corn hole game, and parrots throughout to keep the parrot head vibe going! We hope you enjoy it!!
