Dogs welcome! Yard is fully fenced in. Ample parking in two driveways. Home facing the manatee “birthing” canal. Manatees come into this canal to feed and give birth.
Weeki Wachee luxury living at its finest. Upper level is a kitchen, great room with 65” tv. Dining area, screened porch overlooking the water. A king bedroom suite with stand up shower and garden tub. Massive his and her closets for long stays. Second upstairs bedroom has a queen bed with a full bathroom just off the bedroom with a tub/shower combo. Lower level, with separate outside entrance, has a glassed in sitting area with television overlooking the water plus a large room with a queen bed, exercise equipment and a twin bed. Also a full bathroom with stand up shower. The entire home, upstairs and down is included, but each has privacy due to each have separate entrances. Home comes with pots, pans, eating utensils etc. Everything needed for a big family meal. High quality cookware. Linens, blankets and towels plus access to extra of everything. I Laundry room has washer and dryer with detergent. Home comes with kayaks a paddle board, plus paddles and life jackets for all ages. Perfect for paddling the crystal clear Weeki Wachee. Manatees and Dolphins are frequently seen from the porch of the home. Fishing off the dock is very good, Crab, Mullets, Snook, Redfish, Snapper as well as Bass. Feel free to dock your boat at the home. The river access is just downstream from the hot dog barge and upstream from hospital hole. If this home is booked or doesn’t fit your families needs, I have two other homes in Weeki Wachee. Always feel free to ask questions. I want to ensure every family stay is absolutely perfect.

This is our favorite property on the Weeki Wachee. We’ve stayed here multiple times and we’ll come back again. There are plenty of kayaks. We saw manatee and turtles and fish from the floating dock. It’s just lovely.

Kevin was a wonderful host and the house was perfect for our family. It was comfortable, well appointed, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The proximity to the springs made it incredibly convenient for exploring the area, and the outdoor spaces were especially enjoyable. They were peaceful and relaxing, and a great place to unwind after a day on the water. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Great place to stay. Lots of room, clean. Responsive owner. Great view of Manatees from the second floor. They to hung out daily in front of the house. Loved Kayaking on the Weeki Watchee river and exploring the surrounding area. This is our 3rd year at this property and best place we have found yet. This part of Florida is still considered old Florida. Charming and relaxing.

This home was perfect for a group slumber party. Private accommodations for 6. Open floor plan is perfect for our group of musicians. Great location; we caught fish, watched manatees feeding on eel grass in this canal and lots of water toys to explore the river. Updating is in the works for upgrading outdoor gathering areas.

The location was outstanding and the house was clean and cozy with everything we needed, including comfortable beds. There was a great selection of kayaks, all of which seemed to be in good condition. Perhaps the best compliment came from my 13 year-old son (a tough critic), who said he wants to live there! Also, the host, Kevin, simply could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. We definitely hope to return in the future!

Excellent property! We often take mini vacations to the Weeki Wachee river and this is the second time we’ve stayed at this property. The property itself is fabulous. It’s in an excellent location. It’s very nicely furnished and has everything you’re gonna need for your stay. The host is spectacular. This one is a real gem.

The inside of the home was very nice and clean. Accommodations were everything we were looking for. The home was pet friendly and the kitchen had everything we needed. The location was excellent and we absolutely loved the fact that the manatee were frequently feeding on the water grasses right off the dock. The host could not have been more wonderful, accommodating and communicative. The yard wasn’t perfect, but there has been a drought in Florida. The only suggestion I have for improvement is rinsing off the kayaks some and cleaning up the yard a little…overall though, I still give this lovely home a 4.9 out of five stars

Loved the spacious kitchen and living room. We put two teenagers downstairs and one upstairs. There was plenty of room and 3 full bathrooms. We used the kayaks, fire pit and grill. Thanks for sharing your place with us, the location was fantastic!

House up stairs was good- spider webs from kitchen table to windows to chairs with baby spider eggs - blinds were torn at bottom of two blinds, kitchen table looked like someone vanished a hole or something on top looks bad, was dark inside not very homey when u walk in front door. Cold air upper stairs. To get to down stairs had to go down the stairs outside to get to the bottom living area- opened up sliding door n u couldn't breathe- heavy smelly urine mold nauseating smell- it was bad walked thru to get to back bedrooms opened slide door n same smell. It was bad, I have photos of black mold in the sliders of the doors, stain marks n smell like dog urine, misty in back bedrooms - I had to find a new place to rent for 7 people cause down stairs was not livable - listing was not correct - have photos of the stains in the ceiling in the bathroom downstairs n where mold is present. Carpets need to be changed. Dog urine in carpets Outside was nice, pretty flowers, place where dogs need to pee fake grass- n found a big hole outside house wall - maybe termites- I will never stay here again n I'll tell others-false advertisement - We stayed early one night before- Thank god gave me time to find a new rental before my friends n family arrived- VRBO at 1:30am did help us find another rental - yah!!

Reviews can say more about the reviewer than what is reviewed. This home is going on five years of VRBO utilization and has only one review of less than 5 stars. That one was 4 stars because of the upstairs and downstairs not accessible inside. I amended my description to better reflect that and am happy it was brought to my attention. This above review is simply complete nonsense. She contacted me the day prior to her booking to try to move up because where they were staying was full of black mold. I happened to be staying at this house finishing a gardening project. So I prepared the home myself and vacated. They showed up at whatever time, and then sent me a message at 2:00AM that the home is dark and uninviting. (The home is all glass and cathedral looking over the water) I immediately responded and then she escalated to it smelled bad. This I know is not true. I doubt she realized I was personally there just prior to her arrival. I sent a message that she needs to vacate. She said it was too late they are going to bed. This is still one day before their booking. I had caught a flight and now needed to return. They stayed for most of the following day. When I arrived they had clearly grilled a meal and beds were used etc. Never shared “photos”. I understand as a host, we open ourselves to this kind of experience. This is not an occupation for me but a passion to help families enjoy manatees, crystal clear water and nature. Kevin Harris

An Overall Wonderful Visit!

Property was very clean and orderly! The layout is perfect for multiple groups. The upper and bottom patios were lovely to enjoy during morning coffee and dinner drinks. The dock was so much fun. We even had some manatees come welcome us to the home! 5/5 on the stay!

Great spacious home for a family getaway

We stayed here to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family and loved it. Having a spacious living room/kitchen and 3 full bathrooms was especially great for family units to have their own space. Kayaks were easy to put in water and Weeki Wachi river / springs was beautiful. The kitchen was well equipped even for my mom to pull off a great thanksgiving meal with all the trimmings. Love that it is a pet friendly property! Kevin was great! We highly recommend it!

Clean and Convenient

When we first arrived the canal was pretty mucky, but it cleared up the next day. We took a kayak ride to the river and it was beautiful. The beds were clean and the house is full of convenient amenities. We stay at Weeki at least once a year, and would be happy to stay here again. Thanks for sharing your riverhouse with us.

Love this place

This house was great and plenty of room. We had a wonderful time kayaking the river. Nature around us was so awesome to watch. Manatees everywhere, mullet jumping, turtles , ducks, and a lone garbage bandit made an appearance one evening. Weeki Wachee River is truly a beautiful place. Communication with Kevin was easy and fast reply. We will be returning here again.

Retired nature lover. First time to visit Weeki Wachee hooked me. I immediately bought a home , and now have three. All my vacation homes cater to completely different lifestyle needs. One home is in the quiet area with access to Mud River by Mary's Fish Camp. Has a boat ramp and very fast access to fishing and scalloping in the gulf. Another home has access to Weeki Wachee with a heated, salt water pool that is screened in.
