Le Sunday House est un cottage avec 2 chambres et 1 salle de bain situé au cœur du magnifique Texas Hill Country. Situé sur plus de 30 hectares de randonnée, de pêche, de natation, de tubing, d’observation de la faune ou tout simplement de détente, sur les rives paysagées de la magnifique rivière Guadalupe. Un endroit vraiment isolé, mais accessible - à quelques minutes de Canyon Lake et des destinations de shopping, de restauration et de danse de la ville historique de Gruene, au Texas. Parfait pour une escapade romantique ou des vacances en famille mémorables.

Commodités: riverain privé, wifi, table de billard, foyer au bois, foyer extérieur, et plus encore!

Amazing weekend for bridal party!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As a gift to our son's fiancé and her bridal party, we rented Cypress Falls for their wedding weekend. We've long admired this property while passing along the river, but it is even more beautiful from the top side. The facilities are immaculate, and hosts are very friendly. The wildlife alone was worth the stay. Thank you for allowing Cypress Falls to be a part of this important family event!

Our relaxing getaway

For starters, my husband and kids were just looking to be by the water and enjoy being outside. However, we didn't know the backyard was so close to our own spot off the river. We were looking to rent some kayaks and try paddle boarding. We didn't have to worry about that since they were already available to us. The backyard is AMAZING and the poolroom was perfect to look over the all the animals in the front. The entrance to our stay was gorgeous as well. My kids loved riding our bikes through the trails and enjoy having the place to ourselves. Meredith and her husband helped us load all our stuff into the house and gave us so much hospitality to start our weekend off. They were there if we needed anything without overcrowding us. Our kids who are 13 and 17 loved the stay and could not stop talking about our next trip back! If you are looking for a nice relaxing place to enjoy family time or some alone time for yourself. Give this place a try, you will not regret it.

You NEED to stay here!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is such a unique property, you will not want to miss it. You feel secluded, yet you are close to all kinds of wonderful places to visit. If you don't feel like going out, there is plenty to keep you and your children occupied. My teenagers were in heaven with fishing, kayaking, Cornhole, and the pool table. We enjoyed walking around the property, taking pictures of the amazing animals. The hosts are fantastic and made sure we had everything we needed. They also made great recommendations of places to visit. This place is a gem.

Riverfront Paradise

We stayed in the Sunday house that was built in the 1800’s. It was an awesome place overlooking the river. Beautiful property overall with very nice hosts that will help with whatever you need.

Amazing property and location

Our family loved our stay at this property. It was the perfect weekend getaway before our boys immerse in their new school year. The cabin was a great historic experience for the boys to enjoy but had all the needed amenities and then some. We loved exploring the property, enjoying the wildlife, and of course playing in the river. The property feels secluded but is still close to the fun of Canyon Lake/New Braunfels. It is the perfect spot for families to relax and enjoy!

The scenery was beautiful, steps from the water, and the Sunday House was so cute. We mostly relaxed and floated on the river. The hosts are wonderful and provide you with just about everything you need including floats, paddle boards, kayaks, etc. We can’t wait to go back and bring more family with us next time!

Oasis

From the entry into the gate…heaven on Earth! Exotics, white tails, a swan on the pond…all lounging along the drive. Joe and Meredith waited for us to arrive. They met us with golf carts to carry our luggage to the cottage. Joe shared the history of the cottage and how it is the original on the property. It is very uniquely built, well stocked for a studio. We used the outside wishing well grill to grill steaks. We sat in the relaxing lounge chairs each morning by the river and the rocking chairs each evening as the animals came back out at dusk. If you’re up for tubing, there is plenty of private riverfront or you can hitch a ride to go further up if you want a longer float. There is nothing about this place and the hosts that weren’t perfect. We definitely recommend it.

Book this place IMMEDIATELY!

We stayed on the 200 year cabin and it was darling. The location couldn’t be better, right on the bank of the beautiful river complete with waterfall and every toy you could ever need to enjoy your day to the fullest (SUP, tubes, kayaks and rope swing). The property is packed with gorgeous, happy, well cared for animals including deer, peacocks, ducks, swans and therapy chickens. The best part of the property are the hosts and owners Meredith and Joe who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was nothing short of magical! I can’t wait to stay here again.

Amazing Property!

The Cypress falls retreat was an amazing property to say at with my family. The Caretakers are extremely friendly and helpful, and the property and river are absolutely amazing. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Perfect

The property is lovely, my 12 yo grandkids were appreciative of the abundant wildlife. The river access is breathtaking. It’s within sight of canyon lake dam. Clean water, nice shoot (for tubing) and flat rocks for relaxing and walking in the river. No drunk masses, no police, no trash, stars at night, privacy in the morning with your Coffee and/or private prayers and praise. I can’t say enough nice things about the hosts, friendly and available and invisible if you prefer and living on site. Internet is weak, perfect to spend time off line, my husband could check his email and work on the phone but he found everything continued without him. You can make phone calls for sure but if your life is online, you’ll find yourself looking for a signal. The property is great. I recommend it. We will return. It’s now one of my hill country getaways for long lazy HOT weekends.

Gorgeous! Stunning property!

We had the best time! The host was fantastic!! It is definitely a place we will visit again. The water views are beautiful! Walking around exploring and seeing the wildlife was truly an incredible experience.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wow! This property is amazing. The Sunday House is a cute well maintained cabin overlooking the Guadalupe River. We had full access to the trails and river on their 70 acre farm. Innertubes were provided for floating on the river. They provide a gas grill for cooking. We are definitely going back next year!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We needed a place to unplug and recharge and the Sunday House was perfect! Amazing scenery, Texas history and hosts. Highly recommend if you want to get off the grid, fish, relax or just sit by the fire.

More than MAGNIFICENT!

The grounds are well groomed and clean however the views defy description. We stayed in the Sunday House and it provided everything we needed. Meredith and Joe are the most gracious of hosts and provided us with information, history and just pleasant down home conversation. We have stayed all over the western world and found this stay one of the most enjoyable and relaxing weeks yet. Cudos to my wife for finding it. We can’t recommend it highly enough.

Gem on the river

Beautiful property, quiet plenty of space to walk or sit and relax. The water was great.

Plenty to do if you want to or relaxing opportunities also. Comfortable beds, wonderful huge tub to bath in. Took advantage of the hammock under old pecan trees.

Amazing and Unique

If you are looking for a beautiful place to stay on the river, you’ve found it. The cabin is a beautiful, well maintained cabin built in 1826. The property is a little slice of heaven with everything you could ask for and so much more. There are exotic animals, beautiful falls on the river, amazing sunsets and so much more. We felt right at home here and plan on returning soon. Meredith and Joe were the best hosts! They filled us in on the best places to eat, other local places to visit, and the history of the cabin we were staying in. This is one of our favorite VRBO properties!

This is an incredible property, absolutely stunning, with owners who could not be more thoughtful and welcoming. We booked based on reviews from previous renters and could not have been more pleased with our decision. The photos don’t do justice to the beautiful location and don’t capture how welcomed the owners will make you feel. From the minute the gates opened on a green field with hundreds of deers we knew we were somewhere special. The historical house is small but perfect, extremely well taken care of and overlooking the river and the falls. We cooked our dinner on an open fire by the falls every night and our 5 year old made more s’mores than we should admit. While it was too cold (early April) to swim, we still managed to float on the river with the owners floats, enjoyed a wonderful hike to the top a wooden hill with a swing set to enjoy the 360 view, and many beautiful walks along the river and throughout the property. We usually like exploring new areas, but this is somewhere where we are already planning our next trip. Our daughter was in fact packing her bags tonight so she was ready for the next time we went to visit Mrs Meredith and mr joe.
