Seattle is waiting for you at this marvelous 1-bedroom suite. With amenities like a washing machine, heating, hair dryer, and WiFi, guests can relax and unwind in this enchanting space. We look forward to welcoming you to our place. Stadiums, waterfront, Pike Place Market and museums are walkable.
This stay was awesome. Great area, fair price. Loved the heritage building. Nicely remodeled. Could have a bit larger TVNo air but lots of fans and beware lots of steep stairs. Overall a very nice accommodation
Just as advertised, this is a very cozy space in a charming historic building. The location is ideal, with easy access to public transit and walkable to destinations like Pike Place Market.
Right in the thick of things. Clean and comfy. Public transportation so convenient that having a car is only a burden. Don't miss the Mirabelle right across the street. Don't forget to stop in downstairs at Merchant's
Comfortable apartment convenient to tourist locations
The check-in process was thorough and easy-to-follow. The apartment was clean and comfortable. No air conditioning, but we were able to keep it cool with the windows open. Plenty of fans available. Darcy was very easy to communicate with. The location is perfect for visiting the major sites
It was great to be able to walk to Pike Place Market and the waterfront area from our place. The location is in the historic neighborhood which has some amazing buildings. A bit of some homeless people but that canât really be helped in a downtown area. We arrived during an unusual heat wave and they had just installed a portable air conditioner for us. Very thoughtful and much appreciated. The stay worked out perfect for our quick trip to Seattle.
Floors, linens and work surfaces scrupulously clean, but very dirty window sashes. As is common for location, no AC, which is no problem, but there are no screens to keep bugs out with open windows, so expect a few flies. Location is perfect for walking tours of downtown Seattle.
Good safe clean place to stay. Right in the middle of old town Pioneer Square. Just know that you are gonna experience some big city smells, noise and locals. Embrace it, and have some fun. Go see a Mariners game. :)Very close to the 1 line for access to all the places. Some good bars in the area of your into that. Cheers!
The architecture and history of the property are both incredible. The neighborhood is turning around for the better, I was led to understand. The three flights of stairs were a surprise, but very manageable. The bed and furniture was comfortable, and made the stay a pleasure. The pub downstairs serves a decent panini as well.
Easy to walk to and from for stadium access, and many other attractions. I loved sitting in the living room on down time and watching and listening to the city live action below. I really like the older style lamps, like my grandma used to have and I really miss seeing. Great little kitchen, had plenty of items for cooking or reheating take home. VERY comfy bed, i slept really well. Shower and bathroom were great. Hot water really quick. Great old building and everything I love about staying in a city.
Nice place with a lot of character. It is definately city living. Very loud with the bars, sirens, people yelling and garbage trucks in the morning!! But that is expected in a big city.Be ready to climb stairs if you are on the 3rd floor!Overall, Darcy has a nice place. 15 minute walk to Pikes.Would highly recommend for the younger crowd.
We wanted to stay in the Pioneer Square area to do a walking tour of Seattle up to Pike Place Market. We found this cute-as-bugs unit in a building that was erected in 1890. It was wonderful. Well decorated and well maintained. Only warning to anyone is - it's on the third floor - there is no elevator and the staircase from 1st to 2nd floor is extra long due to the high ceiling of the restuarant on the ground level - so you'll get your excercise!
This was a great apartment for us. The apartment was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. All amenities were great. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was perfect!Bonuses: we arrived by train and there is a free shuttle from May to September that dropped us off, with luggage one block away. Same for return trip to Union Station. That same shuttle will take you to the waterfront and Pikes Place Market and it picks you up one block away. And remember, it is free! The host, Darcy, is great. She responds very quickly to any questions. We plan to stay here again!
A short stay to see a concert and have a close and convenient place to stay. It it important to note that building doesn't have an elevator so plan to carry your luggage. Butler garage is conveniently located across the street for parking.
Could use deep cleaning 1-2 times a year. Cobwebs, drawers etc.Could use earplugs in bedroom.Bar is loud & lots of bottles thrown into recycling bin.Windows are only 1 pane, so could hear everything.Lots of personality inside.Bed was comfortable & sheets clean. For the price, itâs worth it, unless you canât do stairs.
Pictures donât do this cute little place justice! I love how they embrace the nature of this historic building! Cozy and spacious! I canât wait to stay there again. Host was helpful and informative! The stairs are not for the weak though just being honest if you arenât able to lift your suitcase. Pioneer Square is a fun little area to explore all with in walking distance too! For the history buffs, one idea I would offer is some historic info about the building or area to read if available.
The room itself was very nice, except that there was no air conditioning (the property manager was very gracious to open the windows and have four fans circulating air since Seattle is not too hot). However, we were NOT prepared for the two very steep flights of steps up to the room. My mom is a bit on the older side, so it was difficult for her to climb up the steps and for me to carry all our luggage up. I should have read the reviews before we booked because multiple people mentioned the stairs, but the fact that it is nowhere mentioned on the property details is very disappointing. Again, the room itself was nice and as advertised and the check-in process was very smooth and easy, but the stairs were a major disappointment to not be aware of beforehand.
Place was cool, and a great little area and had everything I needed. Communication was great and it was stocked with tons of towels and blankets. Would definitely stay again.
