Super cute cabin outside grounds absolutely beautiful with plenty of places to sit and enjoy nature. Super location for visiting crater Lake national Park then being able to relax and unwind for relaxing and restful trip with my sister host immediately responsive checking and check out super easy. Highly recommend!
We couldnât have been happier with our cabin! The spot was just perfect and our holes were very friendly. We enjoyed the creek that ran through the property and the proximity to crater lake. The beds were comfortable, and the cabin was spotless. Would come back in a heartbeat!
The cabin was cozy and the setting was gorgeous. Everything we needed, clean and comfortable. The only downside was a loud AC unit. I wonder if a ductless might be a better solution? Otherwise heavenly. Best sunsets you will see. And only 30 minutesfrom Crater Lake.
Lovely view of the mountains and the creek. Enjoyed listening to the Owls and some good sized splashes in the creek during the nite.
Location is handy to Crater Lake and to Klamath Falls but you will be out in the "country" so bring your own supplies to avoid a drive. Kitchen space is limited.
A plumbing issue was resolved quickly and professionally by the host. We had a good time.
husband and I wanted to visit Oregon. Chose a place near Crater Lake National Park. Cabin on crooked creek was a charming place. We enjoyed sitting out back in the evenings watching the sunset with an adult beverage!
Hosts were gracious. Amenities were simple. Views and ambiance are magical. Highway is VERY close to the cabin(20' tops) so your tranquility is subject to change based on the traffic but in-between cars driving by, but you are met with the spunds of crickets, frogs, water and cows. The sunsets are what you would imagine in this beautiful area. Creek is shallow but offers exquisite views. Bring what food you'd like because theres not a lot around to choose from Restaurants wise short of a 30 minute drive. Hosts are on site for easy communication. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Bring bug spray, mosquitoes are ample as well. King bed is very comfortable as is the small cabin itself. Its worth the adventure.
Maryanna was very nice and immediately responded when I needed a flashlight. The cabin was quaint but had few amenities. No TV, no WiFi, No A/C, no radio, few and dim lighting.. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean but other rooms not so much. Cobwebs in corners. Windows needed a cleaning too. Fans need an additional pull cord because I could not reach it. Noise from hwy meant having to close the bedroom windows to sleep. I guess price was reasonable for location but not up to standards I have come to expect from all my prior stays with VRBO.. Most enjoyable part was the lovely yard with table and chairs near crooked creek. I broke the toilet paper holder somewhat but it's placement was awkward to reach. Without adequate communication and wildfires nearby, I called Maryanna who assured me she would let us know if there was any fire danger which fortunately there was not.
This modest little cabin is surrounded by stunning beauty! We enjoyed idyllic views in all directions. It's nothing fancy which just adds to it's idyllic charm. Mary Ann and Nolan were reliable and communicative, great hosts. If you plan on cooking, fresh meat and produce are not easy to obtain in the nearby markets, so fill your cooler before you arrive.
Everything about our stay was great! The property is lovely, especially at dawn and sunset. Very picturesque. We enjoyed taking the (onsite) 2-person canoe out for a fun morning exploration.
The cabin had everything we needed for a 2-night stay and was cozy. Our goal was to experience Crater Lake, and we did easily from this location.
Our only suggestion would be to clear out the celling cobwebs in the rooms/shower, something we prob would not have noticed except someone else mentioned this on an earlier review.
The owners are lovely, communications clear and easy, and we enjoyed getting to meet them. We can see why they love living there so much! We would def stay again if we were back in the area.
Beautiful, beautiful property with beautiful sunsets. Lots of cattle around Crooked Creek which you could kayak - itâs right in the backyard! Very quaint and cute! Kitchen faucet dripped and bathroom sink clogged up, but other than that we loved the place!
This is a return trip for my husband and I to the cabin on crooked creek. We love the views and serenity of the area at the cabin. We ate our meals outside and enjoyed having coffee or just sitting out on the deck. The cabin is comfortable and well appointed. It is close to Crater Lake and other attractions like the logging museum. We thoroughly enjoyed our visits to both. It is also a great location for birding, fishing kayaking etc. Mary Anna was accessible for anything you needed and a great host. We will definitely stay here again.
The cabin was comfy and cozy from the minute we walked in. The property is very special. We loved watching the creek from the back porch and walking the pasture. So relaxing. The traffic noise was present but melted into the background quickly. The hosts were friendly, helpful and left us to enjoy the place as if it were ours.
The cabin needs to be deep cleaned ceiling to floors. Dust dirt and cobwebs are everywhere. The bathroom door was hanging off its hinges and wouldnât shut. There is no heater in the room with the single bed. You can hear small animals under the cabin all night. Very disappointed. We left a day early.
