Cowboy Cabins is an Amazing, tiny home, located on a working cattle ranch, in Fort Klamath, close drive to Crater Lake . Beautiful cedar deck over looking the valley where you can watch the cattle graze by. Quiet, peaceful and secluded, away from any city noise, but yet only 19 miles to Crater Lake National Park.. Bedroom has end tables with phone charger outlets , and AC in bedroom and in the living room. Coffee, snacks, lots of extras provided. Wonderful place to relax, and enjoy your vacation.
It was a great place. The herd of cows made it a very mellow start to our stay. In the morning we were greeted by the very busy Prairie dog community just steps from the house. Everything was need and tidy. We would definitely stay again.
Place was very small for 4 people, which it was rated for. Dead bugs in the corners and hair on the shower wall. Hot water situation was ridiculous. Once gone you have to wait an hour for hot water again. Very disappointed. The one thing that was slightly nice was the scenery but not worth it. Would not stay here again.
We loved this little place. It's cute and cozy with cows out the back door. It was a little warm but we were visiting during a record heat wave so I seriously doubt that's an issue at all 99% of the time. And overnight was still cool enough anyway. Host was great and communicative.
We stayed 2 nights and used this cabin as our home base for visiting Crater Lake which was approximately 30 minutes away depending on where at the Lake you plan to go. It was perfect for the two of us. Watching the steer in the field was a different kind of experience. The host left us a pound of ground beef in the freezer that we gladly enjoyed after a long day of hiking. I loved how quiet the location is and also how many stars you can see from the back porch.
Very clean and decorated nicely, Well stocked with towels, condiments, and snacks. There was more than enough dishes, pots and pans, silverware, etc. Super comfortable bed and sofa bed was comfortable as well. Enjoyed sitting on deck watching cattle. Has internet but was slow. Would highly recommend for party of two or small family.
Great location close to Crater Lake National Park. Unit is practically brand new. Super clean. Kitchen is well equipped. Wi-Fi is a bit slow but it seems the entire area has similar speeds. Would recommend if you are touring the park.
We searched for a place to stay near Crater Lake without being at the lodge - wanted a bit more peace and quiet - and are very glad we found this cute tiny house! Perfect size for our family of three and only about a 30 minute drive to the lodge at the lake. Directions were good since our GPS was confused, and check in was simple. House is back off the road so no noise from there and provided beautiful views of the surrounding hills and fields, plus cows to entertain! There are two other, even tinier houses on the property, adjacent to this one, that had people there at least one night we were there; plus there were other folks that showed up the second night, staying in campers with horse trailers in tow. Regardless of there being more people there than expected, everyone was courteous and did not keep us up at night. The house itself is very new and well stocked with plenty of kitchen items, towels, toiletries, paper goods and bedding. My son enjoyed sleeping on the pull-out couch in the living room (said it was quite comfortable). The main bedroom has a VERY firm foam mattress - something I liked, but my husband didn't. The water gets VERY hot too, so keep an eye on kiddos using the faucets! The window-attached a/c unit in the living room cooled the entire place nicely, though we appreciated the floor fan in the bedroom to keep the air moving overnight when the door was closed. Not much else in the area, so head south for restaurants. Great stay!
Very clean, basically brand new tiny house, sitting on a working cattle ranch. Easy to find and about 30 minutes to Crater Lake. The house sits with three other tiny houses close by, but there was only one other unit occupied while we were there. Itâs very scenic with cattle in the pasture and mountains in the background. We sat out on the deck and enjoyed coffee in the mornings and cold beverages in the evenings. The host was responsive, helpful, and a good communicator.
Wonderful setting to watch the sunset while watching the cows. Dark area for star gazing. Crater Lake is only 25 minutes away and an easy drive. Home seems new and well appointed. Host was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend if you are in the CLNP area!
The cabin is cozy and comfortable with everything you need. The setting is unbeatable and peaceful. We had a great stay, and it was a great landing point for exploring crater lake.
