Easy, quick trip up to Crater Lake NP.Plenty of space in the house for a big family. Up to date appliances including airfryer. Train museum nearby is a hidden gem!Dollar General, gas station, casino, great drive thru coffee shop, and good burgers nearby. Did not read the fine print on the 1/2 bath when booking but ended up being a nonissue.
Quiet and picturesque place to stay. The house very clean, with plenty of room. There is a Dollar General 10 minutes away for essentials, should you need it. Its only 40 minutes to Crater Lake, and there is also a wetlands nature preserve not far up the road that was nice to visit. Great place that seems to be in the middle of nowhere, but there is really a lot to explore within an hour or less of the location.
This was a great house to stay in while visiting Crater Lake. The views were incredible and it was so peaceful and quiet. If you have extra time go see Train Mountain. It is close by and really fun. Oh and make sure you check out the stars at night. So incredible!
Very comfortable. Only one bathroom which is downstairs but itâs just fine. Good shower. Kitchen well equipped. Andy was a great host. He spent a lot of time with us, partly just hanging out. I would definitely recommend and go back.
We stayed one night on our trip back to California from Portland. Nice quiet place. A few cows slept in the field on other side of the fence so there were a few moos. Not fancy but had everything we needed.
House was bigger than expected, very clean and nice! The cows next door were so curious and cute, we loved watching them! Itâs the perfect distance from Crater Lake. Excellent experience, thank you!
We stayed one night on our way to Crater Lake NP. The house is exactly as described, a western farm/ranch house with cattle on the property. It was cool to see them in the evening when we arrived and out grazing in their pasture the next morning. The house has everything you need and is very clean and comfortable. It does has one full bath and an additional very clean porta-potti right next to the house itself.
Less than an hour's drive from Crater Lake, this property is situated on a windy plain surrounded by distant mountains. The farmhouse is well maintained, with many displays highlighting a proud family history.
My partner and I booked this place as our midway stopping point driving with our dog from Portland to Tahoe & then back. After our 1st stay, we were really looking forward to our return trip.
The house itself is a great farmhouse with a lot of charm. It was hotter on our return trip and the AC was already on upstairs when we arrived. The owner was just locking up when we showed up & was friendly.
We did a little bit of cooking there and found the kitchen to have the tools/pans we needed.
The porch is great as is the peacefulness, especially after the touristy Tahoe. Our dog loved walking the grounds and taking a nap on the front porch while we played cards. I would happily go back.
