Originally built in 1989, Lakeside Manor has been fully renovated to blend its vintage charm with modern amenities. This stunning home sits right on Lake Murray while also being close-in to various grocery stores and restaurants.

This newly renovated lakeside home, designed by local designer Mary Lauren, offers the perfect balance of convenience and tranquil waterfront life.

As you step through the wooden double doors, you`re welcomed into a spacious living area - also including a piano. Beyond the living room lies the sunroom, with a dining table that seats eight, a pool table, and large windows offering stunning views of the lake. Adjacent to the sunroom is the full kitchen, complete with an additional living room space and TV. The kitchen also includes another dining table, perfect for a `kid`s table` during mealtime!

Connected to the main living room is the primary bedroom, featuring a king-sized bed, and private sunroom. The ensuite bathroom is perfect for 2 with a walk-in shower, separate tub, double sinks, and a walk-in closet.

Upstairs, you`ll discover an additional 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The first bedroom off the hallway features a king-sized bed, TV, full ensuite bathroom, and breathtaking lake views. To access the library hallway leading to a children`s playroom with a TV, you must pass through this room.

At the end of the main hallway, the 3rd bedroom has a queen-sized bed, while the 4th bedroom is outfitted with 4 twin-sized beds (2 bunk beds). There`s also a full hall bathroom upstairs for guests in bedrooms 3 and 4 to share.

If you are traveling from out of town to stay at the manor, please check the location of Lake Murray carefully. There is much to do and see, it can also be an amazing hub and central location if you are looking to do day trips to Asheville, Greenville, Charleston or Charlotte.

Our favorite things to do in Columbia / Lake Murray:

- Take a boat ride or paddle board on Lake Murray
- Soda City Market on Saturday Morning
- Riverbanks Zoo and Botanical Gardens
- Walk downtown Main Street for dinner
- Go to a Fireflies Minor League baseball game
- Congaree National Park
- Columbia Museum of Art
- See a show at The Koger Center

This is a family friendly neighborhood and home, please do not book if you’re looking to host a large event or party.

The garage, fireplace, and boat lift are NOT for guest use.

Please note that if your stay is longer than 3 weeks, you will be required to pay an additional cleaning fee. This will be sent through a money request.

You will receive a `boarding pass` upon confirmation with guidebooks, property specific details, check in / parking instructions and more! You can share this link with anyone in your party for access to the details!

We are very close to the water - expect to see wildlife including bugs, lizards, birds, turtles, raccoons, squirrels, and the occasional deer. Regular pest treatments are done both inside and out but it is very easy for pests to slip into the house if doors or windows are left open.
The maximum occupancy that is shown in the listing includes any and all visitors that will be at the home. Over-occupancy or unauthorized events will result in IMMEDIATE eviction without refund. Any guest who refuses to vacate when instructed will be treated as a trespasser.

No parties, events, or gatherings over the listed occupancy are allowed under any circumstances. Bookings made under false pretenses will be denied access with no refund.

You must be 25 years of age or older in order to book one of our homes.

While we ask a series of screening questions to all guests, local guests are subject to additional screening steps, including a phone call. We reserve the right to cancel any guest reservations at our discretion.

Quiet hours are from 10PM until 8AM every day of the week. We have zero tolerance for noise complaints and multiple violations will result in immediate eviction without refund.

No smoking or vaping inside of the home under any circumstances. You will incur an additional fee of $500 if you smoke within the home + the cost of any damages. If you smoke outdoors you must dispose of any debris safely, do not discard anything in the yard or patio.

No illegal substances or activities on the premises.

Pets must be approved in advance. We charge a pet fee for up to 2 pets at all of our pet friendly locations. If there is evidence of any undisclosed pets in the home (pet friendly or non-pet friendly), you will be charged for cleaning + any additional damages.

If the property is left in an unusually dirty condition that requires deep cleaning beyond our standard turnover, an additional fee will be charged to cover the extra housekeeping costs.

Early check in and late check out for up to 2 hours is available per calendar availability, at an additional cost. This must be requested through your boarding pass, and we will approve / decline after reviewing our cleaning schedule.

Do not tamper with smoke detectors, security devices, or Wi-Fi equipment.

If personal items are left behind a fee of $25 + shipping costs will be charged back to you.
