I have stayed at many VRBO and this was the BEST. Very well stocked with what you needed. It was spacious and very clean. The view out of every window was breathtaking. Loved our stay!!
We visited Port Orchard for a wedding. Home is perfect location and stunning views right on the water. Our family had a great stay! Would absolutely book again.
We loved this house and location. Extremely quiet and peaceful but not too far from town/supplies. A comfortable layout with lots of space for the family. Comfortable bed and sheets. Extremely clean. Views to die for. Great communication. Would definitely stay here again.
The house was very well kept and clean. The pictures do not do justice to the view from the property. The entire back of the house overlooks the water. The neighborhood was quiet. Communication from property owner was good as well. The kitchen is well stocked and I was able to easily cook meals.
We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. It felt like a luxurious beach house, though perched on a bluff really. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen easy to cook in, the water hot. Definitely would stay here again!
A Taste of the South Seas on the Olympic Peninsula
We stayed at the house at the end of May, and we had surprisingly warm and sunny weather! We spent most of our time out sight seeing, but you could easily enjoy spending time at the house, either indoors or outside on the lanai. The indoor space was tastefully decorated with a subtle tropical theme. I especially enjoyed sitting in the sun room with my morning coffee, watching the birds flit around Port Townsend Bay. I was even able to see Mt Baker from this vantage point, on an especially clear afternoon. The house was clean, tidy, and suitably stocked with the basic necessities you might need on a trip, and laundry equipment is available. There is a grocery store a few minutes away that's open late, along with some restaurants, and downtown Port Townsend is about 20 minutes away. The neighborhood is quiet, and I had the opportunity to take a couple of walks through it, to nearby Kala Point Village.I would definitely stay here again, and hope to do so when we next visit my relatives in Port Townsend. Thanks for a great stay!
We really enjoyed our stay, the views alone are worth the visit! Check in was easy, the home was very clean, the rooms are spacious and the layout is open and accommodating. We would definitely return
We could have just stayed at the house and enjoyed the views the whole time. We did venture in to Port Townsend and enjoyed some meals and shopping and wandering the shipyards as well.
A quiet spacious home with a million dollar waterview
Itâs nice to arrive at your vacation rental and realize itâs a perfect fit. Clean and spacious, the home is tucked away at the back of a nice housing addition at the end of a road. We canât say enough
about the view, so calming and
peaceful.
The property exceeded our expectations. A beautiful home in a beautiful location. Watching the sunrise over the water and the boating activity on the water was gratifying. Nice evenings on the back patio and a full moon reflecting off of the water at night was very relaxing. George, our host, was very helpful and gave us a lot of information that made our stay even more pleasant. Thank you, George, for a great stay.
House was well equipped, and the owner was great to work with. We only had 5 days, and could have stayed more.
Make sure you visit Forts Flagler and Worden. The Blue Moose (in the shipyard) for breakfast, Sirens pub for a pint, and the Courtyard for coffee.
if I could change anything, it would be a nice gas bbq - but that just my own preference.
Our family of 6 stayed at Georgeâs place for 4 days as we explored the Olympic Peninsula. It was our home base for visiting Ruby Beach, the Hoh rainforest, the San Juan Islands, Port Angeles, and Port Townsend. Yes, we did a bit of driving. But we could have just stayed at the house and enjoyed the view from the backyard forever. The home is so peaceful and quiet, with million dollar views. The sunrises and sunsets cannot be beat. We loved the one gorgeous sunrise when 4 sweet deer came to pose for a picture.
George is amazing. He is friendly and responsive, wanting to make sure you thoroughly enjoy the area. He felt like an old friend.
The home was very comfortable and spacious. We felt right at home. Being able to grill hamburgers out back was phenomenal. The place was everything we needed.
We would LOVE to go back and stay a while.
The house sits on a cliff overlooking a wide expanse of the Puget Sound waters and neighboring islands. The house is at the end of the road and is so quiet it is almost eerie. We saw deer and eagles daily. Every room is expansive and largely handicap accessible. It was nice to be able to park in the garage and unload from there. A gas grill would be nice but we brought our own charcoal and had it going quickly. There is no air conditioning but there are 5 fans in the garage so plenty for every room. If you open windows in the morning to cool it off, it works pretty good with the fans. It uses the Dish network with a TV in the master and a new 50" SmartTV in the family room. A third TV in a bedroom can be connected to a laptop if you have a HDMI cable. We visited all of the local forts and beaches. Fort Port Townsend has the best sandy beach. Lots of restaurants to choose from, including a great Mexican restaurant less than 5 minutes away. The owner and local person were great at communicating things that would be helpful. Another plus was there were nothing to do when you left. Many places REQUIRE you to start a load of laundry, take out garbage, etc. We through in a load of towels just because it was easy to do while we packed. We will definitely be back.
