Entrez directement sur la plage et profitez de la plage, de la natation, du crabe, des palourdes, du kayak, du lancement de bateau primitif pour le kayak, le canoë, le paddle board et plus encore. Cour clôturée. Nos amis les animaux bien élevés sont les bienvenus moyennant un supplément.

Notre ville de Sequim offre de nombreux restaurants merveilleux de TOOTSIES préférés de Fast Food qui propose des FRUITS FRAIS et des JUS de légumes sur commande, des pains sans gluten ou des OPTIONS de BURGERS GALORE, des milkshakes au moka frais.
Le bistro Alderwood propose une cuisine du Pacifique Nord-Ouest locale, un autre favori Sequim, BAJA CANTINA pour une excellente cuisine mexicaine et des sièges à l'extérieur, Sawadee Thai et bien d'autres. Sequim est également connu sous le nom de LAVENDER CAPITOL of NORTH AMERICA notre festival HUGE LAVENDER se déroule du 21 au 23 juillet 2017 cette année. Great location

We loved staying right on the beach in this cozy house. The extensive windows and sliding glass doors make the most of the view. We had a wonderful visit!

Quiet, peaceful setting

Stayed with family for the holidays. Lovely setting. The views are amazing. Even in winter weather we enjoyed sun and then a wild storm. Fun!

A true slice of heaven

We already live in Sequim, but no where near the water. My mum really wanted a waterfront Thanksgiving, and we found this lovely property only 25 minutes from where we live. We got our dates wrong and were unfortunately unable to enjoy Thanksgiving there, but my birthday fell on the dates we were there and we had a lovely little gathering with my cousins. Our dogs loved the beach and it was so fun to just stroll along looking for interesting pieces of driftwood and rocks. Loved, loved, loved to see the seals and otters that regularly swam by and seemed to like to linger. The pictures on the listing didn’t do the interior justice…it was well above my expectations! My mum was disappointed that the fireplace didn’t work, and the wood burning one was in a room we didn’t spend too much time in…but besides those two very tiny details, the property was about as good as it gets! The hosts were very amenable to our request for date changes as well as our request to stay as long as we possibly could! May 87 year old mum really did not want to leave. We really hope to be able to come and stay again.

Heaven On Earth

The Olympic Mountains are so beautiful!! This wonderful house - right on a quiet beach! The views are amazing - from the bed, sitting room and patio! We look forward to comic back!

No internet access for duration of stay. Great location

Great house with wonderful views. Unfortunately, the internet provider is unreliable, and so there was no internet/tv during the entire visit. Host tried unsuccessfully to find a solution. Not certain if this is an ongoing problem.

Left much to desire

We visited the Seqium area for the first time with our family, incl children between 4-10. We absolutely loved the view from the deck and wildlife that Discovery Bay had to provide (bald eagles, seals, porpoises, and sea otters. Unfortunately, the property doesn’t match the setting in our experience. In hindsight we wished the pictures of the posting would do a better job representing the dated interior and disjointed layout. Not sure how this place has gotten all 5 star reviews, and we are not taking it lightly to write this honest review.Besides the location and surrounding nature it left much to desire.

Peaceful retreat!

We had a wonderful stay here - Discovery Bay's waters were perfectly calm, making for awesome paddle boarding. The home's TWO decks were perfect for dining outside, watching for wildlife, and just relaxing in the sun. The home has great windows in every room, and three separate gathering spaces for lounging, etc. We were traveling with our young toddler and were able to use the huge walk-in closet for her sleep space. The walls were fairly soundproof too, so the adjacent living spaces didn't bother her at all. The bedrooms don't have solid doors, so do keep that in mind if traveling with children and need soundproof spaces. The master bedroom is huge, with magical views and a large seating area. The smaller bedroom is more private and tucked towards the back of the house. The rest of the house is perfectly furnished and well-supplied, including a massive TV in the living room. (I wish they would update the pics!) As for the location, it is located at the end of a private road. The drive up is a bit odd, it feels as if you are driving through someone's property - don't fret! It is so so quiet. You might bump into some neighbors, all of whom are very nice. But for the most part, you'll have a lot of space to yourselves. We spent our time talking long walks on the beach to beachcomb and paddleboarding into the bay. We saw seals (or the same seal?), bald eagles, herons, and gulls. In the water, we saw tons of bright red crabs and even a beautiful giant purple starfish.

Family Birthday

Perfect accommodations for 4 adults , parents and grandparents and one teenager. Quiet area with Sequim nearby for all needs. Restaurants and shops and grocery stores. Parks and beaches to explore. Nice stay

Much needed updates

Lovely house but old wiring and switches main living room lights didn’t even come on. Some needed light bulbs. Cooking was an experience…pans were old worn out scratched non stick should be trashed. Smoke alarm right above stove area and no mater what you cooked it went off. Ear piercing!! Grandkids had to go to other room. Exhaust fan didn’t help . Speaking of fans …old and rickety. Internet was barely usable half of the time it was off.!! Or low bars. Hard communication with owner. Usually 12 hours to get back and when we couldn’t get internet there was no way to contact. Advertised had two bedrooms …both wer open rooms. One was to have a queen and double …that room was a dining room with a sofa bed and a walk thru bedroom was a double bed. Disappointing for my three granddaughters who cherish there time together at cousin camp. One had to sleep in the walk thru room. Sadly overall not very pleased. The kids liked the beach but the house needed updates if you plan to charge a going rate. Towels…old! Stiff!!

Views for Days

What a lovely home and garden. Waking in the sunlit home was a special bonus. There was enough space for our group and the kitchen was easy for gathering. I loved the sound of the water and the porches...Amazing. Loved this area and great neighbors.

Kickoff to Olympic stay for family of 4

Diamond Point was a fabulous home base for our family of 4 with college age kids. After exploring the park, the wildlife refuge and multiple lavender farms over 3 days we would return to cook dinner and then spend the evenings on the deck watching the wildlife entertain. Our trip was made when a family of otters played their way down the beach in front of us! The kitchen is well stocked but no spices besides salt and pepper so bring what you may need. Beds were comfortable and multiple seating areas allowed for everyone to find their favorite space. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful Discovery Bay Beach House

We loved everything about our visit. The location and view is incredible. The house is very comfortable and well appointed. We took short drive day trips to Hurricane Ridge and Port Townsend and thoroughly enjoyed them both. The special bonus for us was seeing an eagle flying over the beach in front of us at eye level in the morning. We would definitely like to return and highly recommend this property to everyone.

Peaceful family-friendly getaway

Photos of this property don't do it justice -- it was very large and well set up for two couples or a family (and dogs!) with numerous sitting areas, multiple places both indoors and outdoors to sit and view the bay, and a well-appointed kitchen plus a grill that looked brand new. Large fenced yard, although somehow our 12 pound dog found a way to get out onto the road, so after that she was well supervised! (Private gravel road is very quiet, only leads to two other properties which seemed to be vacant during our visit). Super peaceful setting for long walks far down the beach. Saw seals, herons, bald eagles, and a pod of orcas on our last morning! Having a kayak or SUP available would be ideal for exploring the Bay (not provided at the site). Be sure to pack groceries ahead of time because it's a bit of a drive to Sequim or over to Port Townsend from this setting. The place was very clean and very comfortable; clearly a well-loved vacation home and the owners have collected lots of interesting pieces over time. Wifi worked well and the huge TV was a hit with some members of our family in the evening! Overall a great getaway.

Memorial weekend

Home was beautiful kitchen had everything to bake cook. Very relaxing with just me and my Chihuahua. I felt very safe there being by myself. Thank you for your kindness and help at the beginning.

Hidden Gem

The images of the property do not prepare you for the charm and comfort of the property. Not to mention the views from every room were lovely. But what had me never wanting to leave was the kitchen. It's fully stocked with nice pans, sharp knives, and good cutting board. I can't imagine not visiting again and have shared the listing with my co-workers.

Beautifully remodeled 2 bed 2 bath , living room, family room , Kitchen , 2 large decks with views of Mount Baker, Cape George, Beckett Point. 2 large private yards. Step right out onto the beach and enjoy beach combing, swimming, crabbing, clamming, kayaking , primitive boat launch for kayaking , canoeing, paddle boarding and more. Fenced yard. Our well behaved pet friends welcome with a fee.

1 queen bed, 1 full bed and a queen sofa bed and a full sofa bed , upon notice we can accommodate 8. A 75" BIG screen TV, and a 50" in the master.

Seals, Herons , Eagles are a common sighting ,and last fall a POD of Orca Whales !!! an incredible sighting !!!

Our town of Sequim offers many wonderful restaurants From Fast Food favorite TOOTSIES which offers FRESH FRUIT and Veggies JUICES made to order, Gluten - free Breads , or OPTIONS of BURGERS GALORE, fresh Mocha Milkshakes.

Alderwood Bistro offers local Pacific Northwest Cuisine another Sequim favorite, Sergios mexican food and Tedesco's italian inside and outside seating, Sawadee Thai and Rainshadow Cafe and many more great dining places. Sequim is also known as THE LAVENDER CAPITOL of NORTH AMERICA our HUGE LAVENDER festival is in JULY this year. OUR SEQUIM IRRIGATION FESTIVAL " WHERE WATER IS WEALTH " is a truly fun time with our parades, car shows, logging shows and much hope to see you soon !!!!!!!
