It was very clean and had a gorgeous view of the water. The chairs, loveseat, and bed were very comfortable. It was located in a quiet area. The kitchen was well stocked.
We met the owner upon arrival. He was lovely, welcoming, and informative. The house was just right for me, my husband, and our two kids. The house was clean and comfortable. The deck in the back overlooking the water was great. The view was wonderful. We saw a seal in the water the first night, and the next day we had two deer visit the backyard!
Every good review weâd read was true and our experience was beyond our expectations! These homeowners are the kind of kind people youâd want for your friends and neighbors. Many thanks!!
This property is very quiet and relaxing. The dock house is a great place to relax, read, or just listen to the sounds of nature all around you. Doug, the owner, is very responsive and has always been a great host. We've been here many times and will be back again for sure.
Wonderful beautiful getaway. Loved the birds and water access. Close to town, but easy to find hikes and adventures. Our hosts went above and beyond to accommodate us.
It is a beautiful bigger than expected two bedroom home on the beach front with wonderful views. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Our favorite part was the dock where we saw a sea otter at high tide. Overall this is a magical place we feel thankful that we had the opportunity to stay there.
Cross the threshold and feel your tension fade away! What can I say that other reviewers haven't? Quality linens and plenty of them, comfortable mattress and really nice furniture overall, well equipped kitchen, clean windows for that gorgeous Sequim Bay view. Even a little goodie basket in each bedroom! If you've experienced what we have, with post-pandemic hosts not providing anything but paper towels to serve as placemats, coasters, napkins, etc., this VRBO will restore your faith in hosts who care. Also, because there is iron in the water (I assume it's iron), they even provide a purified water machine and ample supply for drinking. We often felt like we were the only ones in the neighborhood; it was that quiet. Many thanks to Doug and JoDee for the peaceful stay.
We loved kayaking and hiking through the Elwha River Valley. The well equipped home was spacious and cozy at the same time. Hwy 101 sound was noticeable outside, but not inside. Beautiful views. We enjoyed our stay and appreciate the hard work that went into the renovation.
Perfect for what we wanted and needed as a family. Nice house in a very quiet environment. Is the second time we stayed here and we are definitely coming back. Thanks for sharing your beautiful property
The property is absolutely beautiful and in a great location for exploring the peninsula. Highly recommend. Will defintely stay at this location next time.
A beautiful house in a convenient location with lovely views and well-appointed kitchen and baths. Cannot ask for more! Our go-to on the Olympic peninsula.
This place was absolutely adorable. The little beach house was so cute, my sister and I had happy hour there one night and had our breakfast on our last morning there, such a great spot! The view, the home, the area were all gorgeous. Such a great spot!
We loved staying at this little cottage! We were able to explore the shore and enjoyed kayaking in the bay. It was also a nice location for visiting the Hoh Rainforest and the coastal tidepools for a day trip. We had a wonderfully relaxing stay!
We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. It was well stoked with lots of little extras which was very nice. It was easy to find and the location close to the Jamestown S'klallam Tribal Center was a bonus!
This home is tucked away on Sequim Bay. If you drive in at night, youâll have a delightful surprise when you wake in the morning and look out the many windows onto the bay. Itâs beautiful! The home is well stocked, comfortable and has everything you need, including good internet. The beds are comfortable and itâs a cozy spot to spend with family. This is our second time staying here and weâve loved both times! Owners are delightful and quick to respond! Elegant rustic is the perfect description and the pictures are just as the place looks.
We have lived in Port Angeles for 46 years and feel privileged to call the Olympic Peninsula our home. We love to share this amazing place with our guests. Doug is a retired accountant and now a handyman, and Jo Dee is a retired violin teacher and now a life coach. We both are also now enjoying our role as grandparents. We love the outdoors - hiking, fishing, kayaking, and exploring.
This beautiful piece of property became available in the summer of 2018 through a remarkable set of circumstances. The old house on the property was in desperate need of attention, and with hard work and good help over the next ten months, we like to say that the house has been redeemed from it's former sad state to give it new life with a great renovation with a fresh, new look.
If you like the feeling of serenity in a private, peaceful, secluded setting, this place offers it all. The newly-remodeled house with it's beautiful views over Sequim Bay, plus the immediate access to the beach and waterfront make this place desirable for a romantic, private, get-away. Even though you feel secluded there, you are only about a ten-minute drive away from the city of Sequim, where good shopping and restaurants are available.
