We had a great stay, enjoyed quiet place, close to beaches and stores around. Kid had great time at the pool. Most of the common day to day items were available and no problems over roll. Thank you to the Host.

Reviewer Comments: We stayed a couple of weeks in August 2024, and the condo was excellent. We believe the unit is around 1100 sq ft, and that amount of space was such a treat when on vacation. All the beds were above comfortable, the ensuite is huge... (a hallway unto itself), the living room area was spacious and comfortable, and the lanai being 1/2 covered allowed us to dine outside, every meal, for 2 weeks.The kitchen is well stocked with everything one may need in terms of dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, and the pantry having more than just salt and pepper was a nice surprise.The rental company was informative, helpful and responsive. Perfect customer service.Our only suggestion for consideration would be to offer a 1/2 day rent for those of us flying out in the evening. We had friends rent at the same time in another Palms condo, and that was an option for them. A nice offering in our opinion.To the owners, your condo is very warm and inviting. Mahalo for sharing your Wailea property. This was our first time staying in Wailea, as we usually had picked Kihei. This condo is now our new benchmark moving forward. :)

The suit is good, unit furnishings can use a little updating, beddings ( blankets, sheets are not the best ) and very limited in supply on everything.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were a large family vacationing together but staying in two separate units within the same complex, just a building apart. This review comes from having a comparison of seeing another two bedroom unit nearby. This unit is on the second level and has a ceiling fan and AC in every room (both bedrooms and living room). The beds were comfortable and the unit was well stocked with everything we needed. Beach and pool towels were plentiful, beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler, ice packs. I was also glad to see emergency supplies such as flashlight, batteries, first aid kit, bactine, and perhaps left from others guests: aloe, bug repellent, pantry items (salt, pepper, tin foil, tea, coffee, filters, spices. The second bedroom has a sliding louvered doors instead of a solid wall. This open room can be requested to have two twin beds or a king bed configuration. The sofa sectional also has a foldout bed. The apartment sized washer/dryer combo is located in a closet between the second bedroom and hall bathroom. All the large windows have room darkening shades so I slept really well. The dining table and lanai dining seats 4. There was ample space for the four of us!

Loved our stay!

The location of this condo was prime for getting to the beaches in Wailea and Kihei. We had plenty of space for a family of five. We loved the views of the ocean and sunset from the pool area. Definitely one of our best trips!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve stayed at the Palms many times and this was another wonderful trip. Great location. Nice premises. This unit is a little dated but what was expected. On the second day, from the couch, we watched the lanai sunshade fall from the ceiling and crash to the ground. We contacted Maui Rentals and they said they’d send someone out to fix it. A handy person arrived, looked, and said they’d return with the appropriate supplies. Then 2 people returned, and again said they’d return with the necessary tools. We never saw them again and the sunshade stayed broken and laying in the ground during our whole trip, which made sitting on the lanai not possible for some of our guests. That was very disappointing.

Location, Location, Location. And Pool!

This property has everything you need for the perfect family vacation. Close to beaches, shopping, great restaurants, ice cream and of course golf. Our entire family loved this unit for its location on the property. A short walk to the pool but also easy to make a quick getaway to the beaches from the parking spot. The property manager was very quick to respond to enquires about the property and the check-in/out process, which was appreciated. The condo could use a little bit of renovation love as it felt a little dated, but the items included with the rental (beach toys, chairs, games etc.) made for a very memorable family vacation. Would be happy to come back to Maui for another vacation and stay at this property again.

Love the unit, but


We have stayed in this unit before and love it! The air conditioners all died on our trip. A closet door repeatedly jumped the track and needed to be put back in place. The property management company was unbelievable in accommodating us and doing everything in their power to make it right.

Family Time in Maui

We met our son and his family in Maui for a week of vacation together. It was a wonderful week and we were all comfortable in the Palms condo. However, the cleaning crew did not clean well before we arrived. I was very disappointed! The furniture and kitchen was adequate but more dated than I expected based on the photos and reviews online. The beds were very comfortable though, that was definitely appreciated! There were a few issues during our stay and it was nice to have such quick response from the office/maintenance staff. We had plenty of towels, basic kitchen supplies and beach items. We really enjoyed using the lanai, playing in the pool and enjoying the large lawn area with the kids. I hope this review helps to set the expectation of others!

Excellent condo in Wailea

Beautiful, updated condo in Wailea. Great location. Walking distance to the shops at Wailea or the beach. However, we had a big group and so we would usually drive. It only took a few minutes. The condo had everything we needed. It was definitely much more updated and beautiful compared to other condos on the property. The only challenge was the washer/dryer were very loud when on for our older kids in the second bedroom. Otherwise, highly recommend.

Great for a family with three teenagers

This was the most well-equipped rental we have found in Hawaii. The kitchen was more than stocked with cook/bakeware and the pantry had all the seasonings/spices that we needed. The 5 beach chairs were a bonus (there's usually only four) and the chest of snorkel stuff and *sandless* towels was a pleasant surprise. It was less than a one-minute walk to the pool and a 9-minute walk to a lovely beach to watch the sunset. We would absolutely stay in this unit again.
