We had a wonderful stay. Our host was very kind and helpful. The house was in great condition and was a perfect place for us to stay. We especially enjoyed how close it was to a great short trail (Lion's Head) which you can find on AllTrails. We very much would recommend this property for staying near Capital Reef National Park.
The house was in a super quiet area of Teasdale just past the town of Torrey. Only 20 minutes to Capital Reef national park. The house was immaculate and quite cozy. Kitchen was well stocked and great laundry facilities. Beautiful views of the mountain behind the house. Great star gazing opportunities. The host Sheri was very responsive if you had any questions. Would definitely recommend.
Clean, comfortable, spacious and charming, wonderful kitchen, very private property with beautiful views. I loved my stay and visit to Capitol Reef National Park. Goblin Valley State Park is pretty close and amazing as well!
The place was great. Sheri was awesome. Relaxing area, stargazing, location near Capitol Reef and close enough to Bryce for a great day there. Enjoyed our visit completely. Place is as described. Spacious and clean.
We loved this house!! The beautiful house, built in 1904, was full of charm; updated with modern space and appliances, etc; and the location couldn't have been better!! Sheri, the host, was delightful and very accomodating.
This place is a little slice of heaven for our family. We spent Christmas here & it was the best home away from home. We enjoyed playing games & watching movies by the wood burning stove. Sheri is an amazing host & very responsive.
We enjoyed our stay very much! Sheri was so kind and helpful from start to finish. We felt like we were staying at a good friendâs home. It was perfect for our little family.
Our 3 generational family loved this home. It's very well stocked for cooking, entertainment, and star gazing. The original old wood home is beautiful. The youngest in our group loved the wood burning stove. It's also a very short drive to Capitol Reef's entrance. We would definitely stay here again.
Came here for a wedding. The house was just lovely. Sunrise were beautiful make sure you see them. Would definitely recommend this house. Host was great thank again for all your help.
This is the second time we stayed at this property and we enjoyed our stay each time. Our hosts, Mike & Sheri, let us know that if we ever needed anything just let them know. Overall a great experience!
We enjoyed our stay in Teasdale, Utah. We have traveled to this area annually since 2012 and this has been the best property where we have stayed. Our hosts, Sheri & Mike, made sure we had what we needed and genuinely cared about how our stay went. All in all, we had a great visit to the area!
We loved the house. Very clean and had everything we needed. The outside areas for sitting was really beautiful and relaxing after a day of exploring âThe Mighty Fiveâ.
Thank you for sharing your home with us!
I was actually raised in this home. I moved to Arizona in the mid 1980's. That is where I met my husband Mike. We moved back to Utah in 1996 where we built a home and raised 2 girls. My family has owned and operated a lodge, local grocery store and bakery/deli for 49 years. We have been in the tourism business all of my life. The Teasdale area is beautiful with everything that an outdoor enthusiast would love to do. Some days the beauty of this area catches me off guard and reminds me of how lucky we are to call this area our home. We love to hear from visitors how amazing this area is.
Like I said earlier, this is the home I was raised in. I now own this, and felt it would be a great place for people to come and enjoy everything the Teasdale area offers. My favorite part of this home is the morning view from the front porch. The sunrise in Teasdale is amazing. When I was living in Phoenix and would come here on my vacation, I would wake up early, grab a cup of coffee and set on the porch and enjoy the sunrise. We would then plan what the day was going to be filled with. Whether it was a hike in Capitol Reef, or fishing on Boulder Mountain. There is always something to do here.
The front porch, watching the sun come up will inspire anyone. The view to the south from the deck is breath taking. Whether there is snow on Boulder Mountain or the fall leaves it is such a nice way to spend your time unwinding. In the evenings when it is chilly outside, lighting a fire in the fire place and relaxing from your day is always one of my favorite things to do.
