Welcome to the Big Lake House – this spacious home, surrounded by nature, and pristine waters, is ideal for extended family stays and friend retreats by the lake! Set on nearly an acre with over 2,600 square feet, the two-story home offers stunning lake views from every room. With multiple covered patios, two kitchens, two cozy living areas, a lakeside fire pit, a private freshwater dock, and lake toys, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Plus, the Big Lake House has high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a PS4 for gaming, and a Smart TV with streaming options.
This gated property is nestled on the west side of Trails End Lake with abundant wildlife. Set along the shores of the 73-acre non-motorized lake, the Big Lake House offers the perfect spot for fishing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. The lake, stocked regularly with rainbow and cutthroat trout, provides year-round fishing opportunities. Guests are welcome to enjoy the large dock, life jackets for adult and children, an 11-foot paddleboard, a 4-person inflatable fishing boat, and a kayak. At sunset, unwind by the lakeside fire pit – perfect for s’mores, storytelling, or simply relaxing by the water.
Up on the covered patio, you’ll find a spacious lounging area ideal for sipping wine and taking in the lake view. The lower patio features a propane BBQ grill and easy access to the second kitchen, making it perfect for cooking up a lakeside feast. The main kitchen is stocked with all the essentials you need for entertaining, and with two living rooms, everyone has room to relax or gather.
This home is great for families and groups, with plenty of spots to come together and ample private areas for unwinding.
Conveniently situated just 5 minutes from WA State Route 106, the Big Lake House offers easy access to nearby amenities. Downtown Belfair, with gas stations, dining options, and grocery stores, is only 15 minutes away. Costco and Instacart delivers right to our door! Gold Mountain Golf Club and Alderbrook Golf are within a 30-minute drive, while SeaTac Airport is about 1 hour 20 minutes away, and Olympic National Forest is only 50 minutes from the house.

HOUSE RULES:
To help ensure a pleasant experience for everyone, please keep in mind the following:
- A signed rental agreement is required to confirm your reservation. Third-party booking is not allowed.
- This is a family-oriented home in a quiet residential area; it’s not suitable for parties or events.
- Quiet hours are from 8 pm to 8 am.
- Maximum occupancy is 10 guests, including children, with additional daytime visitors only by permission.
- All guests must be registered, and pets are not allowed. Any undeclared guests or pets will result in a $1,000 fee and subject to immediate cancellation of your stay.
- Smoking or vaping is not permitted anywhere on property. Please smoke outside the main gate. Any signs of smoking will result in an extra cleaning fee of $400.
- Due to a tight cleaning schedule, late check-outs will incur a fee of $100 for every 15 minutes past the agreed check-out time.
- Parking is limited to 4 cars in the driveway and 1 car street-side. Parking on grass or landscaping is not permitted.
- We prefer that no shoes be worn inside the house.
- Use the provided rainbow lake towels for outdoor use; indoor bath linens (white) should stay inside.
- Respect the property. If an accident occurs, please inform us in advance so we can address it promptly
- For your safety and security, there are two outdoor cameras: one above the garage overlooking the driveway and front door, and another near the toy shed with a view of the dock steps.
- Any reservation canceled by the booking platform due to a violation of house rules or illegal activities will not be eligible for a refund.

We are Jeffrey and Annie. Jeffrey is from Michigan and Annie is from San Diego. Our little family split time between Washington and California because of work. We live at the lake house half of the year and the other half, we share it with other vacationing families!
