The home was so clean and beautiful! We made good memories there and are grateful for Derek allowing us to stay! It was a perfect and peaceful getaway! Derek is awesome and the perfect host! Would definitely and probably will come back eventually!

Little piece of heaven

From the mints on our pillows to the lovely accommodations and beautiful surroundings Lakeside Paradise is better than a 4 star hotel! The host was wonderful and the place is spectacular in the fall, the star shine so bright,, hope to return next fall!

This was a great property. The house was beautiful and the dock was about 100 or so steps from the back patio area -much closer than any other property I’ve stayed at in this area. Plus, I challenge you to find a better spice collection at any other rental anywhere. When we suggested two vey minor things to the owner that the property could use and made it clear that it was not a big deal, the items magically appeared at our doorstep the following morning.

Great trip!

Our stay at this VRBO property was absolutely perfect! From the moment we booked, Derek, the host, was incredibly communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. His attention to detail really stood out, and it made the whole experience so much easier and enjoyable. The house itself was spotless—exceptionally clean and well-maintained. We had plenty of space for our group, and the open layout was perfect for playing games and watching movies together. The kitchen was fully stocked, which made cooking our meals a breeze. One of the highlights was the stunning views of the lake. Whether it was during the day or at night, we were able to relax and take in the beauty around us. The starry night sky was absolutely breathtaking, and we spent hours just gazing up at the stars. Our dogs had an amazing time, too, they were just as relaxed and happy as we were. It felt like the perfect getaway for both us and our furry friends. All in all, this was an unforgettable trip, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a peaceful, spacious, and well-equipped place to escape with family, friends, and pets. We'll definitely be back!

Everything was wonderful from the time we booked until the time we checked out. Perfect location, well appointed for cooking or just relaxing. Bedrooms and bathrooms are amazing & the living room was very comfy. We got to meet the owner on check out day since they were there to finish a game room area for the next lucky guests. You won't be disappointed if you book a stay here. The yard, back patio and lake front with dock were great. We spent a lot of down time out there. I could go on forever but they limit the amount of words I can use :) We fish so we bring a bass boat and have dogs that travel with us too. Boat launch was about 5 minutes by road and about 2 minutes back by water. A good time was had by all. Stores and restaurants are only about 9 miles (15-20 minutes) away so if you are missing something a quick drive will fix that. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy our vacation at your beautiful home.
