Great location, amazing view of the harbor, everything works.Parking is challenging at certain times of day if you have more than one car.Property could use a few more items of furniture, several rooms felt very empty and we had no where to play card games with our large group.
We stayed at this property for the Seafood and Wine Festival. Location was great to walk to the Bayfront and excellent view. Property was clean but for 750 a night lacked the basic VRBO amenities, no washcloths or hand towels were provided and the drawers and showers were left with owners or previous guest hygiene products. There were also several pairs of shoes left inside the front door and made it feel as though this was a family owned home vacated for this weekend. We would stay here again for location and size of the home but would recommend the basic amenities be provided. The one thing to note is there is a loft on the 3rd floor with a bathroom no toilet and a queen bed, had that been clear in the house description so truly itâs a 5 bedroom, we would have had one more friend join. Overall the place was ok however would have expected more for the nightly rate and it being backed by VRBO standards.
We had an adult group of 10 staying for a long weekend. The beds were all comfortable and place was clean. Oddly, this place really seemed to lack furniture. There were 2 couches and 2 chairs in the living area, but not terribly comfortable and difficult to sit and visit. There was no dining table/chairs, so we had to improvise (found a large fold up banquet table in one of the bedrooms, carried it upstairs and then used the bar stools to sit here. Sort of worked, but very awkward). There was definitely not enough seating for 10 for either eating, playing games or just relaxing. Also 2 large open areas (in basement and in attic), again without really any furniture. Only a few bedside tables, no bedside lamps. Has a great deck, but no seating. Location was great for downtown, though fish processing plant across the way was quite loud on Friday night, quiet though Saturday and Sunday. Parking was challenging, but manageable. There is only one small parking spot. This house has only one fridge and stove, though pictures show 2 (no fridge or stove in basement area). For 750 a night, would have expected a much more comfortable stay.
