Rustic 1950s Cabins Located on 4 Acres of Pine Trees Surrounded by Upper Desert
The Cabins at Stoney Pines are a family legacy property that have provided great memories and we now want to share them with others. These cabins were built in the 1950's and we have made an effort to keep them as original as possible.
The Green Cabin is a 2 bedroom 1 bath that sleeps 6 (2 Queens & 2 Twins), has a full kitchen, AC and a pot belly stove for heating during winter.
The Red Cabin is a studio with bathroom and has a queen bed, kitchenette with small fridge, AC/Heater and is perfect for a couple.
The Green Cabin is the larger of the two cabins and has a front bedroom and a back porch bedroom. The front bedroom has a Queen sized bed, dresser and 2 bedside tables. The back porch has a Queen sized bed and a Trundle with 2 twin beds. This cabin has a full kitchen and a large sitting area that is designed around the pot belly stove. This stove heats the cabin in the winter while also providing great ambiance. There is also a window AC in the main space that amply cools the cabin in summer. In the main sitting area there is also a smartTV for your use.
The Red Cabin is a smaller Studio cabin that has a window AC/Heater and a Queen sized bed. There is also a pot belly stove for your use should you prefer to heat the cabin that way in the winter. This cabin does not have a TV, but does have WiFi. There is also a Kitchenette in this cabin with a small refrigerator.
The cabins were cute and comfortable. I was impressed with all the board games that were available. The road to access the cabins are very rocky and bumpy. My daughter had to park her lowered car down at the vons market. One of the neighbors was drunk and I rate that we were driving up the road so late and with shining flashlights in our eyes.Other than that little mishap, our stay was awesome.
I am a native of San Diego, CA and I enjoy reading a good book and being outside. I love being a host because I have had the opportunity to make great memories at the properties I rent and I hope others are able to as well.
This property has been in my family for over 50 years and we have made many good memories here, which is why I wanted to open it up to other to make great memories. The neighborhood is very different than our property, but looks can be deceiving. The neighborhood is typical desert landscape, dry dirt and rocks, but our property boasts a beautiful pine tree forest that has been slowly planted over many years.
The most unique aspect of our property is that our cabins sit on 4 acres of private property that is a pine tree forest. Besides having access to 2 cabins, which allows everyone to have their own space but be close together, the cabins in and of themselves are unique because they are original 1950s cabins.
