Three room upstairs suite with private entrance in a nice neighborhood within a mile of Downtown Restaurants, just over 2 1/2 miles from Camp Pendleton's Main Gate and less than 1 mile from the Beach. Whether you're traveling for business or pleasure, this spacious suite provides plenty of room to relax! Ideal for single travelers as well as couples, it has the added advantage of hosts that are just downstairs and readily available.

This is a very safe neighborhood where you can stroll to virtually any attraction, using sidewalks all the way! Park in our front driveway, then take off on foot! Our convenient location at the corner of Minnesota and Rockledge considerably shortens your walk to the Beach, Restaurants and the Pier, although it should be noted that Minnesota and the nearby I-5 are well traveled and there can be traffic noise.

The Oceanside Transit Center is just under a mile away, with easy train connections to both Los Angeles and San Diego, as well as their mass transit. While the San Diego system is generally convenient and affordable, the Los Angeles $10.00 Weekend Day Pass is particularly popular because it can be used for unlimited rides on all of the Metro Rail services (bus, train and subway) in Los Angeles County.

A unique feature of this suite is that it includes a computer for your exclusive use. Using the HDTV as a monitor, you can browse the internet for local attractions as well as TV entertainment. The favorites bar includes many networks, some of which are free while others can be logged into with your own account.

There is a four-cup coffee maker ensuite with Folgers coffee packets, and plain filters are provided for those who prefer to bring their own favorite coffee. In addition to the microwave, our kitchen facilities include a two-burner hot plate as well as basic cookware and bakeware sets. There is also a convection oven which works similarly to a conventional oven, but cooks food 25% faster. It is large enough to cook a full-sized chicken or to simultaneously bake two 12" pizzas.

While the suite is unairconditioned, Oceanside Summers are mild and the suite remains refreshingly cool. The house is uphill from the Ocean, so it gets a nice breeze. Further, there are a multitude of windows in the suite that can be opened to create a cross-breeze and there is a ceiling fan in the bedroom area.
