«Folly Fun au SunLove Beach Cottage»!

Profitez d'un cottage Folly vintage simple mais confortable. Ce chalet original, construit en 1945, est l’un des rares restants de Folly Beach. De retour dans la journée, les habitants construisaient leur campement familial sur Folly Beach et savouraient la beauté de cette île barrière: la plage, les oiseaux et la brise. La pêche, la pêche au crabe, la crevette et l'huître étaient un mode de vie ... et l'est toujours. Ce style de vie merveilleux de la basse campagne est représenté dans l'art du chalet.

Garez votre voiture et sortez les tongs !! SunLove se trouve à 5 minutes à pied de la plage et à 5 minutes à pied de la rue Centre Street, qui regorge de restaurants, bars et boutiques. Tout est amusant - le River Park, la jetée de pêche, l’épicerie de Bert, le café et bien d’autres sont à quelques minutes à pied. Pourtant, SunLove est suffisamment éloigné de la foule pour profiter d’un peu de temps libre. Prenez un livre et une boisson et profitez de l'un des porches ou du patio arrière. Lorsque vous récupérez votre énergie, vous pouvez faire griller le poisson que vous avez attrapé.

Charming cottage

We had a great stay with our teens and our pups. Cute little cottage with a great screened porch and fenced in yard. An easy walk to the beach, and close to shops and restaurants. Would stay here again!

Family fun

Sun Love Cottage was the perfect setting for our vacation. The beach access road is across the street and the cottage was well equipped. Jackie was the perfect host. Attentive but not intrusive. Would recommend walking down to see the Morris Island lighthouse in the evening to see the beautiful sunset.

Great location. Easy walk to beach and restaurants. The cottage is comfortable with plenty of seating both inside and on the screened in back porch. Bedrooms worked well for 4 adults and 2 kids.

Everything went smoothly and location was good. Jackie gave us information that helped so much. If you want an easier walk to the beach go to the access from the roadway rather than the paths. House was well equipped.

Excellent Stay

Thanks to the generousity of Jackie and Donna, our trip ended up better then we imagined! My husband and I stayed in the studio attached to the house. The studio was perfect for the two of us and had everything we needed! The studio was within walking distance to the beach and to all the shops and restaurants but far enough to have some peace and quiet at the end of the day. We are already looking forward to our next trip to Folly!

Comfortable house in a peaceful and convenient location

We loved our stay here! We walked everywhere and especially loved being able to bring our dogs on vacation with us. The fenced yard was great! We used the screened porches every day to enjoy our coffee in the morning and have drinks in the evening. We didn't cook because it was hot and because there were so many good restaurants within walking distance. The air conditioning was super cold and felt great after long hot days at the beach. The beds were comfy and the location was quiet. Can't wait to go back.

Just what we were looking for

Everything was fine, we had everything we needed and enjoyed the back screened in porch and fenced in backyard for the dog. Just a short walk to the pier. The area the house was in was very quiet and relaxing. The only thing I would recommend is replacing the single bed(s) in one of the bedrooms, they are not very comfy for a full grown person, we ended up having one person sleep on the couch instead.

Perfect Getaway

The cottage was the perfect getaway for four of us, along with our 3 month old baby. It was an easy walking distance to both the beach and center street where all the shops and restaurants are located. In addition to the great location, it is a great house in perfect condition with everything you need, plus enough space for the 4.5 of us to spread out comfortably. Our little dog, Kona, loved being able to roam the house and the fenced in back yard too as we lounged on the covered back porch! It has everything you and your furry friend need to have the perfect Folly vacation. We would definitely stay here again in a return trip to Folly!

Wonderful sunny stay!

An adorable and comfortable stay for my family and I! Great back yard and screened in porch made for relaxing and fun for both us and our pups! Jackie is incredibly friendly and helpful; if she came and went in her studio at all during our stay we never even knew. The house is right across the street from public beach access which made for a quick and lovely walk to the beach. Center Street and everything else Folly has to offer was only a short walk away including Bert’s for a quick grab of anything needed of some yummy beach snacks! Wished we never had to leave; Sun Love Cottage is everything Folly and we definitely recommend it and Jackie!

Charming Home! Great place for a week of relaxation

I truly loved staying at the Sunlove Beach Cottage in June. Folly Beach is one of my favorite places to visit and I was not disappointed in this delightful home. I stayed with my two young daughters for the week and had a couple of family members visit from NY on their way to Florida. They intended to stay one night and it turned into three because we enjoyed it so much. The house is quaint and lovely. Very clean and still holds the eclectic charm that appeals to me so much. It was great for the my daughters with it being so close to the beach. I highly recommend this home to anyone who visits!

Good place, a little buggy, but still good.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Such great outdoor area to hang out, Enjoyed playing bocceball in the backyard. Accessibility to the beach and restaurants, we barely got in our car. The only negative thing I would have to say is the amount of palmetto bugs and spiders we had to kill. I am from South Carolina, and I know summer and humidity bring in buggies, but it was a litte excessive.

sunlovew beach cottage

We loved the house and the location. It was 2 blocks the downtown area and 4 blocks to the beach. The fenced in back yard was great for the dogs, and they loved being able to run around. The house was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this house for a couple with a few children or two couples looking for a vacation spot. We enjoyed the hospitality of the owners they were very helpful getting the tvs working when we checked in. The photos were accurate of the property. The town is wonderful and we had great service at all of the bars and restaurants we went to. It is a very dog friendly town. We would stay there again on our next visit.

Canine Comfort

So many things came together to make our stay at Sun Love Cottage enjoyable for all of us, including the doggie member of our group. The back porch was a great place to visit and watch lovely Luna run in the screened back yard. The kitchen and dining area were great for our traditional breakfasts and seafood dinner and we loved being able to walk to all the delicious restaurants. Towels, the washer and dryer and outside hose and shower helped us enjoy the nearby beach and keep the sand at bay. Having 2 bathrooms and the bedrooms upstairs gave each of us privacy as needed. Comfort for all.

The Sperati family

Awesome time spent with family and friends. We had a birthday party for my 4 year old and invited the family that was down for a wedding over. The house accommodated our large dogs and a birthday party. The dogs enjoyed running and playing in the back yard and the family enjoyed the back porch and nice breeze. Everything was w/in walking distance, which was great for meeting up with the wedding party. I even was able to walk to the church on Sunday which was a perfect way to meet some of the locals. Lots of great memories!
