Adorable property <3

Everything about the property was perfect! It was absolutely adorable with so much character and personality. The space was clean and comfortable with no small detail overlooked. Communication was prompt and always helpful and we had all of our questions and concerns answered within a timely manner. I would absolutely stay here again!

Terrible experience unfortunately – Dirty, hot, and zero accountability. I am deeply disappointed with our stay, especially considering the high overall cost and the added cleaning fee. The property fell far short of basic hospitality standards. We faced several major issues that made our stay frustrating. For check-in, we were never sent the information for the door passcode prior to arrival and had to sit outside and contact the host just to gain entry. Furthermore, the space remained uncomfortably hot for the majority of our stay. The cleanliness was also incredibly poor throughout the entire place. The bedsheets were covered in dog hair and food crumbs, weird stains, and I took multiple pictures of this. The couch was also covered in dog hair, the countertops were dirty, and the dishes had not been washed properly. We actually had to go out and buy our own new linens, lay new blankets over the sofa just to sit down, and personally re-clean everything—mind you, I did not bring a pet. When we brought these issues up, the host's response was that they would have sent housekeeping back over if we noticed it right away. After a long day of travel, the very last thing a guest wants is to manage a cleaning crew to fix basic hygiene issues that should have been pristine from the start, especially when it was paid to have been clean. We just wanted to rest. Save your money, book a hotel.

When we first arrived there are actually 2 gates to get to the casita in the back (the orange fence and the metal fence) but the privacy and security were great for us. Everything was clean and the bed was huge and fabulous. The casita is laid out in very dog friendly way, and the open floor plan was perfect for my husband and I who were traveling with our fur babies. The location was great and not far from anything major that we needed, i.e. HEB (the best grocery store) and Walmart/ shopping. There were tons of great taco places around the area too, we are just bummed we only stayed for 2 days and didn’t get to try them all. The host was very responsive and very communicative throughout our stay. We never logged into the WiFi, but we did have great signal the entire time (so T-Mobile works great there). I did use the Roku one night and I loved the guest logout feature at the end of our trip. Overall we would recommend and would stay again.

Bathroom ridden with flies all over, dirty towels, no bathroom trashcan, shower water pressure is straight diabolical, dirty and smelly bed sheets (you could tell an animal has used and abused the bed in prior use) and the list can go on. Talk about a non existent pest and cleaning service for this place, yet get charged double in Vbro fees than the rate of the place itself. Motel 6 made up for the bare minimums. If you book this place knowing its problems don’t bother with the host as they’ll just talk about how great the kitchen and outside space is also to compensate for that

Unfortunately this was a dishonest guest looking for a free three night stay. None of his claims are true. There most certainly is a bathroom trashcan and he is the one that I allowed to have his dog there and the housekeeper said there was hair everywhere. He was the first guest to have stayed in the Casita with a pet. The housekeeper had to spend extra time cleaning up after this guest and his dog. There were no flies upon his arrival and of course they will come in if you leave the patio door open. I have no control over the fees VRBO charges and he knew the nightly rate for the Casita plus the separate VRBO fees before he made his booking. As for talking about the outside, it is a very nice fenced in yard around the Casita for the pets of guests and we got into the discussion when he was trying to compare the place to a hotel. We work very hard to assure guest satisfaction and enjoyment and to earn 5-star reviews. We appreciate any and all feedback and always strive to improve. There is no merit in this guest's claims.
