Holiday@Rich'sBoardwalkBungalow: OceanView+parking

Ce condo en bord de mer au deuxiĂšme Ă©tage est situĂ© Ă  seulement deux pĂątĂ©s de maisons au nord de Belmont Park dans un complexe de huit unitĂ©s. Il a une vue Ă  180 degrĂ©s depuis le salon et la chambre queen et a son propre balcon privĂ© de 10 x 13 sur le toit. Descendez les escaliers et traversez la promenade et vos orteils sont dans le sable. Profitez du coucher de soleil tous les soirs. Les jours sans nuages, vous pourriez avoir un aperçu du flash vert! De nombreux invitĂ©s ont rapportĂ© avoir vu des dauphins jouer dans les vagues. Voir, entendre et sentir l'ocĂ©an depuis presque toutes les piĂšces du condo. Regardez toutes les activitĂ©s sur la promenade ou participez vous-mĂȘme. Nous fournissons deux vĂ©los Beach Cruiser, des planches de bodyboard, des chaises de plage et des parasols. Cuisinez le dĂźner dans la cuisine ou sur le barbecue Ă  gaz et mangez avec vue sur l'ocĂ©an ou faites une belle promenade dans l'un des nombreux restaurants locaux de la rĂ©gion.

Il y a un lit queen, deux lits jumeaux et un canapé-lit queen, deux téléviseurs, DVD, télévision par cùble et Internet avec WiFi, et un téléphone avec appels nationaux. Pour votre commodité, une laveuse et sécheuse est à l'intérieur du condo.

Le stationnement dans toutes les zones de plage est minime. Notre condo possÚde un garage pour une voiture qui mesure 17 pieds de long et 7 pieds de large permettant le stationnement d'une voiture de taille moyenne. Il y a aussi 4 espaces qui sont un parking ouvert pour le complexe qui est disponible sur la base du premier arrivé, premier servi.

Vous ĂȘtes Ă  moins de 16 km de SeaWorld, du parc Balboa avec ses nombreux musĂ©es et du cĂ©lĂšbre zoo de San Diego, du quartier GasLamp, de la rangĂ©e de restaurants de Little Italy, de la zone Embarcadero avec SeaPort Village et de tous ses musĂ©es flottants, y compris Midway, Star of India et le ferry pour l'Ăźle de Coronado, le village de La Jolla et l'aquarium Birch, les magasins d'antiquitĂ©s d'Ocean Beach. En 45 minutes Ă  2 heures, vous avez Safari Park, LegoLand, les champs de fleurs de Carlsbad, dĂ©gustation de vins et antiquitĂ©s Ă  Temecula, la ville historique de la ruĂ©e vers l'or de Julian (tarte aux pommes) et le parc d'État du dĂ©sert d'Anza Borrego.

Rich’s boardwalk is the perfect little vacation rental in the middle of Mission beach. It’s just a few steps away from the boardwalk for an easy walk for a late night snack or drink. The roof top patio while small is perfect to just sit, relax and enjoy the beautiful sunsets.

This home had everything we needed and the location was 100% perfect! We measured our rental car to be sure it fit in the garage and the description was exactly on point. Would absolutely stay here again. Hope we get to soon!

Main bedroom, the breeze was incredible and the sound of the ocean at night was perfection.
Looking down from the rooftop deck, the smell of honeysuckle was lovely.

Great location to enjoy the beach with ease!

This is such a great little cottage, with a great view and location! The amenities were more than enough for us to enjoy the beach, the place was clean, and the team was responsive whenever we needed anything (especially Laura!). It wasn't swanky, but that wasn't needed. It fit all of the needs for a nice little beachside getaway! We will be back!

- Great location on Mission beach. Steps from the beach and Belmont Park. - The property is certainly outdated and could use some work. - The property looks much cleaner from the pictures. Bed sheets appeared to be old. The sofa bed is rusty. - Bathroom is fairly clean. The dish washer doesn’t work very well.

On the Beach

The location is great! The beach directly across is a surfing zone, but swimming is 50 yds away. We loved sitting up on the roof taking in the views, the breeze, and people watching. The apartment had everything needed to get started. It has a grill, extra filtered water, beach towels, beach bikes, beach chairs, and sand toys to name a few. The garage is very small. A Nissan Rougue or a Honda Element fits. I climbed out the trunk a couple times but it was worth it to have a parking spot. Only things that could make it better would have some Tupperware for left overs and an umbrella for the roof top. It was a super time. 10 mins from the marina. Also highly recommend a whale watching tour with Gone Whale Watching and Second Nature restaurant. It really was fabulous. Highly, highly recommend. Communication with the managing company was also excellent!! They sent guides via email, text messages to check in on us, and swiftly responded to questions.

Perfect Summer Vacation!

One of the best trips my family and I have ever taken! We were literally steps from the ocean, the only way we could have been any closer to the water is if we were on a boat. The location was incredible and the bungalow was beautiful. The rooftop balcony with bbq was what sold us on this property and it did not disappoint! We saw dolphins playing just past the surf every night as the sun was setting. The big picture window in the front room was also a favorite spot while eating breakfast. We were a short walk away from Belmont Park and all the shops and eateries in the area. We spent our afternoons on the beach and our evenings walking the boardwalk and trying new food shops. Just an absolutely perfect, relaxing vacation. San Diego itself has so many attractions and things to do, but we were so content to just stay on the property and in the immediate area. Nancy’s Vacation Rentals was a fantastic group to work with! They answered all the questions we had and made every step from payment to check-in and check-out as smooth as possible. I actually tried to book a property in the same 8-unit complex from a different property manager and they were terrible. We’re really grateful to the Nancy team for everything they did to help make our vacation special. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them, and hope to book with them again in the future. Two points to just be aware of: 1) even in mid-July the ocean water is cold, and 2) the boardwalk can be noisy at night. That being said, neither of these negatively impacted our stay. You get used to the cold water after a few minutes, or you can also rent a wet-suit from some of the shops towards the Mission Beach Lifeguard Station. And if the windows are closed at night, the boardwalk noise isn’t a bother. If the windows are open, the ocean tends to drown out much of the noise. We will definitely be back!

Great Location and views!

Enjoyed the Mission Beach experience over the 4th of July. Unit is in a great location just steps from Belmont Park and many small eateries and bars. View from the main window inside and view deck is superb. You can either decide to sit up top and take in all the action or take a couple steps and be at waters edge.. Mission Beach is very crazy around the 4th so be prepared for lots of noise and activity below you on the boardwalk during these particular days. A not on parking, when I realized my SUV would not fit in the garage, I rented a smaller vehicle that would. I was glad I did becaue it is impossible to find parking near the unit. The 2 or 3 "first come first serve" spaces on side of building will be occupied by folks that will never move their cars until they check out. I would've spent my entire vacation moving my car around and looking for overnight parking. It got better further away from the 4th. Well equiped in every category. Minor suggestion is a knive sharpener and a non stick pan for eggs etc.

Nice place, awful parking

We've had the pleasure of staying in the Mission and Pacific Beach areas many times over the past 15 years, but staying at this place was our least favorite. The actual condo was fine: it was clean, and has great views of the ocean. The roof deck was wonderful and by far the best aspect of the place. The condo was sparsely stocked (e.g 4 *medium* sized towels, so we had to do laundry far more than we should have needed to) and the few knives in the kitchen were so blunt they were dangerous. However, the main reason we disliked the place is the parking situation is simply awful. There IS technically a garage, but it is so small the maximum car size that would fit in there is a compact car or compact SUV...and who takes one of those on vacation with a family and all their luggage!? (Btw we have a medium sized SUV, and while I could technically fit it in there, I literally could not open the door to get out!) So, the only realistic parking option is 3 car tandem parking with some of the other condo tenants. Unless you're at the front of the tandem, you cannot leave for the day without your car as you'd need to move your car when someone else needed to get out. This is a BIG negative when you want to go to the beach for the day, or eat at a local restaurant and not drive...multiple times I had to run back to the condo to move my car when someone else needed to move theirs. (Each car leaves their cell number on the dash so they can be contacted). If the owners of these condos demolished the useless tiny garages and replaced them with regular parking spaces it would make a profound difference to the functionality while staying there. We cannot recommend this place simply because the parking situation very negatively affected our stay, it limited where and when we could go somewhere, which defeats the purpose of being on vacation.

Location of everything is amazing!! Ease to restaurants and bars, just a simple hop over to the beach, if Sea World has fireworks you get to watch them from the upper deck, and the staff is great with incredibly quick response to any questions! Highly recommend!!

Great stay in San Diego

My family and I had a great stay at this beachfront property. The apartment was clean, the beds were comfortable, and they provided all the basics so we would have everything we needed. Mission beach was also better than we had expected. Restaurants and stores are just a couple blocks away. We would definitely stay at this property again.
