Good place if traveling with pets. comfortable beds. pool area was wonderful once the pool heated up. Be prepared to bring everything with you including garbage bags, toilet paper and paper towels. Other than lack of expected supplies, we had a good time. The neighborhood is quiet and close to main roads to get around.

Nice place..Very clean

All was good. Clean apt. Pool was nice. Ceiling fan in bedroom had only 1 speed (fast). The only exception was the bed, it was very uncomfortable, didn’t get a good night sleep.

Great place to stay on the budget.

I found a great place in Cape Coral! A spacious 2-bedroom, 1-bath apartment in the center of town is a fantastic find, especially if it’s convenient for your needs.This is the second time I am staying there, I enjoy the location and the unit itself. Some things that might make your stay even better:Amenities & Comfort: it does have everything you need, like a well-equipped kitchen, laundry, out door screened dinning area, swimming pool.Location Benefits: Being in the center of Cape Coral, you’re close to restaurants, shops, the waterfront Saratoga Park, Golf Course, Kenedy Lake Water Park and other atractions.

Clean and quaint

We really enjoyed this place. The neighborhood was nice, the pool was amazing and perfect for all ages. We had an issue with a fan that never got resolved there could use a few updates with kitchen utensils but overall a great stay.

Winter Getaway

Liked the open and spacious living area , nice screened porch with a drying rack for towels and pool area was very nice. The reading lamps on the headboard were a bonus. Some basic cooking utensils were missing and some bathroom towels could be replaced. Overall we had a great experience.

Great place!!

We so enjoyed our 4 week stay at Sunny Splash, we already booked for next year. It was very clean and comfy, and we loved the pool. Alex the propert manager was a very cordial and helpful young man. Judi took care of all our questions, and booking our dates. We are away from traffic, but close enough to do what we want as far as shopping, dining, visiting etc. The rental is very spacious, and we very comfortable. It is a GREAT place, we feel very lucky to have found it. Thank you to the owners for providing a great get away from our Iowa winters😊

Owner refused to heat the pool

My daughter and I flew down from Canada to stay at this duplex and visit family in Fort Myers. We chose this rental because the description says “heated pool”. The weather was raining for the first day so we didn’t use the pool initially. We discovered the pool water was icy cold. I sent a message requesting to have the pool heated and the property owner responded that it already was. I asked them to come to the pool and verify that the heater was working in good order. The property manager reiterated it was working and the water temperature was set to the high end of the standard range they specified 77-82 degrees, and stated there was nothing more they could do. So I bought a pool thermometer to verify for myself that the water was much colder and I took photos of the actual temperature to document it was not heated. Then I had a pool tech look at it and he confirmed that the heater switch was in the “OFF” position. I can only surmise that the Property Manager decided to ignore us and pretend the pool was heated when it was not. We were very disappointed because the beaches were closed due to Hurricane Ian. We had chosen to rent a house with a heated pool and paid a higher rental cost than we would have otherwise. However, we were unable to use the pool since it wasn’t heated. Although the property manager wouldn’t come to the duplex to help rectify the pool temperature, on the evening before we vacated the rental, she asked us to let her come over for a “dog inspection” earlier than our established check out time. This surprised us, so I reviewed all the rental documents and could not find any clause identifying this procedure. When she arrived she insisted a “dog inspection” is standard. We complied with all instructions in the rental agreement. The home is sparsely furnished. Side tables are needed in the living room and pool side - we had to put our drinks/snacks/cell phones on the floor. The bedrooms have no dressers to store clothing and personal articles. The bedroom closets had hangers and an overhead shelf, but lacked dressers. In the kitchen I found the largest frying pan was covered in a heavy layer of oily spatter, so we couldn’t use any dishes or utensils until we had thoroughly cleaned them. There weren’t enough mugs or dishes and the pot lids didn’t fit. The living room sofa is very small and we could feel the wood frame through the cushions. Otherwise the rest of the furniture was comfortable.

We are really sorry that our house did not meet your expectations because the well-being of our guests and that they enjoy a relaxing stay is always very close to our hearts. However, we would have been happy about feedback when you were still on site so that we could have possibly remedied the situation, such as with a possible re-cleaning of the dishes if this had been really necessary. The equipment of the house, however, can be seen in the pictures in the ad, so we can not understand the "criticism" about missing dressers in the bedrooms. POOL The switch for the heating system was indeed on "OFF". However, we had already explained the reason for this to the guest on site: it is an emergency system and at very low temperatures (as they, unfortunately, have been at this time) the system switches off for safety reasons. Unfortunately, we can not change the weather and ask in this regard also future guests for understanding. An inspection of the house is not only with us but usually with all vacation accommodations no peculiarity but standard and is the good right of every landlord. How this inspection takes place may vary from landlord to landlord and also our property management does not always make a personal inspection. But for guests traveling with dogs, we ask for it because we unfortunately already had to determine frequent violations of the house rules. We are sorry if you felt personally attacked in this respect.

Nice pool, not set up for Vacation rental.

The property itself is not in a desirable location. Very busy road, cars speeding non stop day and night and very loud. There are fans not working. Doors not painted. We let the manager know and he did nothing. We then found out he's been told for awhile. The home is very low supply of anything you may need. We went and bought everything to keep it clean etc. The pool was kept in good condition. The couch was absolutely horribly uncomfortable to even try to sit and watch a movie. The wifi was very low quality. Overall not bad if you are looking for something fast. But I think the owners should definitely look in on their property.

It's a pity that you didn't like it that much. However, some things seem a bit exaggerated. There was definitely only ONE fan not working (which has since been repaired), I don't know anything about doors not being painted (except in the other apartment, because we currently had to replace a door there because it was destroyed by an unregistered dog). Our houses are all very well equipped with everything you need for a vacation stay, including cleaning utensils. Also, I'm surprised that the subject of cleaning is mentioned because we took over from you an extremely dirty sofa and an apartment smelling of cigarette smoke. It made the impression that the sofa was used as a dining room chair. The sofa needs to be wet cleaned by our cleaners with a carpet cleaner after your stay....

Mother/daughter get away

We found the house to be clean and comfortable. The pool area was our favorite. We never used the grill but did have a couple dinners there. The dishes and pans are well used but we had what we needed. We arrived late out first night so we had to get to the store right away since there was only 1 small roll of toilet paper and no tissues. I do realize this isn’t provided. Everything was as described and we had a nice stay. Thanks!

We are happy to hear that you felt that comfortable in our place. That's right, our accommodations are self-catering accommodations. However, our guests should find 2 rolls of toilet paper and some paper towels upon arrival. If this should not be the case, we are also happy about direct feedback to create if necessary immediately or but then the next day remedy.

Sunny Splash was great!

My husband and I stayed at Sunny Splash in February 2019. Upon our arrival we found the house was very clean and well stocked (as we cooked most meals at home). The beds were comfy. My personal favorite was the pool. The water temperature was perfect! Would love to make another splash at Sunny Splash!

It is out of the question for us that our guests find clean accommodation when they arrive. Also, a well-equipped kitchen is a must for us. Especially in a house like the Sunny Splash, because we often have families with children as guests who do not leave the house every day for lunch or dinner. Regarding the beds and the pool temperature, the feelings of our guests are sometimes a little different from each other. We are all the more pleased that everything was for you to the fullest satisfaction. Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences with us and future guests.

Comfortable, immaculate, convenient, perfect!

We originally booked the Westside unit for 3 adults (self & husband & 84 yr old mother-in-law) for 4 nights in late March 2018. We then had a change in circumstances so I sent the owner a message asking if I could add 2 more adult guests (son and girlfriend) on the sleeper sofa in LR. For very modest extra guest fee, the owner changed our booking no hassle. Owner communications were consistently outstanding. Check-in and check-out were a smooth process. Place looks exactly like the HomeAway listing photos and was IMMACULATE! What the listing photos don’t show is that there is a paved double-wide driveway in front of the house centered between the Eastside and Westside units’ front doors, so parking our rental car was very convenient. No front steps or stairs anywhere in the unit so easy for older person to navigate. We loved the crisp, modern Euro style, tasteful wall decor, tile floors, no clutter. Kitchen appliances were in great condition, kitchen equipped with all essentials (I would have preferred a Keurig to the drip coffee pot, but that’s me). Comfortable beds, including the IKEA sleep sofa in LR which had an innovative, easy to use design. Plenty of storage space in bath and bedrooms. Loved the nightstands and bedside lights! Ceiling fans and A/C kept us perfectly comfortable. Just about everything in the Westside unit was in nearly new or very good condition. Could maybe replace one or two of the hand towels soon. Gas grill on patio was showing wear but worked fine. Maybe add more grill tools. I honestly can’t think of anything else that could be improved. I forgot to say how much we all enjoyed the pool and patio!!!! So pretty, well-maintained and water was just the perfect temperature! We were out exploring during the day but we enjoyed swimming both morning and night! Wished we could have stayed longer! Also I should note that this house was in a quiet, well-kept residential neighborhood in what proved to be a convenient location for exploring Fort Myers and Sanibel, also near supermarket, drugstore, etc. We would absolutely book this property again and would feel quite confident booking another of the owners’ numerous properties. In sum, our group of 5 give this place a collective 10 thumbs up! Thanks for a great stay in Cape Coral!

Clean 2 bedroom duplex with a wonderful pool

Two bedroom duplex which was just as it appeared on the internet photos. Wonderful pool for swimming(good lap pool). Small screened in patio area is good for relaxing. Kitchen was well stocked with needed equipment. Comfortable king beds in both bedrooms. The owner and property manager are friendly and easy to contact. The bathroom is small with only a shower and has little counter space. The television only had local channels and the WiFi was slow and did not work well for streaming. I would recommend this property for 1 couple. I think 2 couples would find the bathroom congested.

Thank you for response. Yes, we are happy that we can offer our guests such a nice accommodation with this pool, well equipped kitchen and kings beds (!) in both bedrooms. Of course we thank you for your comments regarding the TV and WIFI. We´ll work on that...your florida4you-team!
